    Alright, there's a lot of mixed reviews. I noticed the really negative ones were mostly from lunch and dinner experiences, and also at a time when the restaurant was new. So, this review is specifically for breakfast, time: 9:15am on a Saturday. What to expect: conventional American breakfast fare, nothing eclectic or experimental, a quaint ambience, and a price of around $15 per person with tip. The service was fast, attentive, courteous, with a total stay of 45 minutes. But, there were only 3 tables occupied. Recommendation: The Belgian Waffle. It's a great place for weekend breakfast because this beats the crowd at First Watch or Pancake House, but for the same food at a similar price.

    NOTE! The menu listed here on Yelp is not their current menu. They let us know they frequently change it when we went there hoping to order a few things that they did not have listed. There were still plenty of good options! But don't show up with a plan like we do ;) We went for lunch on a Friday. We started with French Onion soup (as none of the appetizers we wanted to try were listed), and it came out COLD! We hateee sending stuff back, but it was unbearable! It came back warm, and it was pretty good. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich. Good, but not at all what I pictured/craved. I was wanting a big CRISPY fried chicken breast with some hot sauce on top, but it was actually coated around the whole chicken which made it soggy. I'm also not sure what made the slaw "bourbon" slaw. I did really like the fries that came with it. My boyfriend got a Bison Burger (the special of the day) with a side of the garlic aioli and side salad. These were the best things we ordered! We loved the garlic aioli, and the honey scallion dressing. The burger was just pretty good. We are moving, and wanted to try this place before we leave so we won't be back regardless. But we told our friends, "eh".

    Love his cute atmosphere for brunch on a Sunday. Not busy, very quiet and fresh food. Decor is adorable and staff is so friendly. Everything we have all had had been great! Great man have to try it outside of brunch, but the grilled cheese and burger on the brunch menu are good! Don't avoid this place because it's in the hotel, it feels very separate!

Server mentioned that the workers were changing shifts he apologized once again, but did notice that I didn't even touch my meal other than one bite of a cheeseburger didn't offer to take it off the bill. I still paid full price and tipped as I should.

We were told the strawberry lemon drop was sweet and that's why I ordered it. It was the exact opposite. So bitter that I had to ask to switch it because that's how bitter it was. The champagne sangria was just okay. For appetizers, we ordered the buffalo chicken spring rolls. These were OVERLY fried. It felt like I was eating fried dough with some bits of chicken. Flavor was okay, but I definitely wouldn't order these again. We also ordered a Cesar salad, and a greens salad. These were both very delicious. The Cesar salad was very good and you can request it with our without the anchovies on top. We ordered a lobster bisque soup as well which was good. For dinner, we ordered the Twin Filet Medallions. I ordered mine medium. The issue with this was that one of the filets was cooked medium, and one was cooked medium rare. The one that was cooked medium was absolutely delicious, the one that was medium rare was not as good. I was disappointed with this because I only enjoyed 1 out 2 of the filet. This dish came with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans. The plate itself was HOT, however the temperature of the mashed potatoes was warm on the outside, and then the inside was cold. For desserts, we ordered the crème brûlée, the chocolate cake, and the cheesecake. The crème brûlée was by far the best dessert. The top was nice and crispy and the flavor was delicious. The chocolate cake was huge, and also really good. The cheesecake I would not recommend because if it wasn't for the peach compote on top, it would have no flavor. It was very very bland. Overall, I would return to this restaurant and probably try different menu options. The service and consistency of the food lacked, but I would love to give it another try.

Even Uptown 140(upstairs bar with appetizers available) was super busy. Kind, nice, and attentive service from the staff. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night or special occasion. Our friends hold this place in high regard and had us hyped up to try. Good variety menu for drinks and food. I was told they rotate the menu to always introduce new dishes. Our friends ordered a red blend that was very flavorful. I had a lavender cocktail that was strong yet good. We had calamari for an appetizer and it is one of my favorite experiences with calamari. Very flavorful in a crisped bun with a savory sauce. My wife had a crab cake and I ordered the chicken dish. Chicken is often not very exciting to order, but this dish caught my eye when browsing the menu. I was blown away by how well they had the chicken prepared and how flavorful the sauces and additions were to this dish. Even my wife loved it. My wife enjoyed her crab cake.
