Very chill place to stop and have a pint on a midweek afternoon! Delicious cider and friendly barkeep!

Found this place near the AirBNB just about 4 blocks by accident since the owner of the AirBNB apparently never checks out the area where the place is. We saw lights coming from the Underground, found a review on Yelp and went in. They do not serve dinner till 5pm , but it gets a crowd , as we found out. We had hot tea out the bar till 5 then to a table. I got a steak with mash potatoes and the wife had the beer battered cod . Both of us liked our dishes a lot! So much so we came back the rest of the trip till we left for the states! If it's Friday it will get crowded and noisy. And just a note, they do not have "doggy bags" so if you don't finish it, that's it. Just take your time and enjoy.

A welcoming and homely pub in the West Kensington and Baron's Court area. Great seating and friendly staff make this a relaxed experience. The food (based on two visit) ranges from average to good. The Sunday Roast for example is good. The wine selection is enough to keep you happy. I'd return for a drink at least

Super friendly staff and great atmosphere, but prices are a bit on the higher end. The food was amazing though, I had the lamb medallions and they were perfectly cooked and delicious. The buttered potatoes on the side were also great, fresh and full of flavour, the veggie bed was cooked perfectly and lightly spiced. I really enjoyed the food but still think it was a bit expensive. Still, a great pub!

Dropped by last night for a light dinner, but ended up with the Mixed Sunday Roast which was a heaping serving of beef, lamb, pork, chicken with potatoes n beets. More than enough for two to share. Atmosphere was friendly and boisterous as expected in a local pub. Our server, Crystlyn, provided top notch service and made us feel very comfortable. Also met two nice young men from Amsterdam n Munich who added to the enjoyment. Highly recommended if you're in the neighborhood.

Stumbled upon this spot while walking back to our rental flat from the underground station- we were absolutely pleased! The atmosphere is very traditional, cozy pub- lots of wood, fire in the fireplace, etc- but the waitstaff made it feel like a second home. Our waitress was so kind and friendly- she even had our young kids helping her carry a few things to our table to get them engaged. They were in heaven from the attention and chance to help. The food was great, the drinks perfect, and we felt like one of the family!

This is a nice looking pub. It has that old, wooden, gastro feel that is very popular at the moment. The food and drink although extensive and quality is a tad on the expensive side, although admitting £9.80 is probably the going rate for two glasses of wine in West London. What made me happy were the pies that could be purchased. They were sat on the bar under cover and the pork pie I ate was SO good. This place has a locals feel, tinged with a creative crowd. The menu offers up a few offers such as a three course theatre meals, which I certainly intend on trying.

I really like this quirky little pub. The decors very rustic-hipster esque, we're talking wooden floors, pink chandelier, hot air balloon wall-paper and the overall effect is a mix between a hipster pub and a casual local, great vibes. The staff have been absolutely lovely to me, very friendly and jokey, and don't look down their noses at me when I ask for the cheapest available wine, which is a nice change. I had to take a star away for the prices, which are very much 'London' prices, costing a fair bit more than a local pub should. Great for groups of friends, and certainly worth travelling for, especially with the theatre downstairs hosting some of the best fringe theatre in London!

After a long day of sightseeing in the amazing city of London, we came to here to grab a quick drink. We ended up having amazing mac & cheese, fantastic drinks, and became best friends with our server. The ambiance is great and it's super close to the underground. If you are in the area, I would 100% recommend coming here!

Housing the Barons Court Theatre upstairs, this slightly mangy but atmospheric pub is a cornerstone of theatre in W14.

It's at the bottom of a Holiday Inn, or at least, it appeared to be that way, and was a strange mish-mash of a pub. I think it was trying to feel like it was really old, yet it had the strangest collection of furniture and decor. We had a blast making fun of this tavern. Tables were laid out in sort of a weird fashion and at first we were really close to this group of 20 somethings that were fairly drunk and really obnoxious and a woman who was sitting by herself at a table for 6 who was reading a book while her food sat off to the side. The drunk group left and it got nice and quiet and so did the woman who had a better table than we did so we took her table. Nothing we drank was anything we'd ever come back for. There are way too many good pubs in London. Unless everything else is closed and this is the only option, go elsewhere!

The food looked (and smelled) good but it was only liquid libations for us. Great staff, everyone was friendly. Not sure what the thing about hotel guests only is, I'm sure there were other people here and they weren't checking for room keys.
