Service at the Croke park is exceptional! I always have the pleasure of staying here when I come for work the staff is incredibly kind. They are very knowledgeable about the area. the hotel is kept very clean the rooms are spacious! The breakfast is one of my favorite things about coming over to Dublin! It's not close to the downtown area but taxis and Ubers are cheap.

This was by the nicest and most modern hotel and rooms we stayed at during our 2 week tour of Ireland, isn't that odd. It felt like modern times for once, rooms were nicely appointed, cool wire lights in the main lobby and reception area. It was a clean and spacious room. The beds were comfy, room was perfect to sleep 2 peeps. My mother and I enjoyed staying in this nicer hotel for several days.

Great hotel. Clean, up to date, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast buffet with delicious array of juices, teas, coffee, hot food, fruits, eggs, avocado toast, etc. So worth it. The serving staff was on it so kind. There's the hop on hop off bus you can catch at the hotel, and a museum near by. Just ask the concierge a very friendly informative man. The hotel is only 15 minute walk to Henry Street for shopping. Then, another 5 minutes from there to Temple bar for restaurant, pubs, and dancing. A famous place a Irish fun night out. I was warned not to walk around the hotel area too late at night preferably. Nothing a cab ride can't fix.Great stay and lots to do. Enjoy!!

We are so happy that we decided to stay at the Croke Park! We stayed for two nights, separated by a night in between spent in Trim. We felt welcomed each time that we checked it, and both of our rooms were very comfortable--spacious with huge beds and modern bathrooms. You can tell that the entire facility is well-attended-to. Parking was critical for us as we were road tripping--the Croke Park has nice underground parking that is included with your stay and connected to the lobby via elevator. The price point was great for the location. The Croke Park is just at the edge of the main downtown area. For us, it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the riverfront/Temple Bar area. Finally, the hotel was very flexible with our check out time. We were supposed to be out by 11, but we had a wedding to get ready for at 1:30. The staff let us push our checkout back until 1. Would definitely recommend!

Had dinner in their lounge. Heard the salmon was delicious but was in the mood for seafood linguine. Pasta was nicely cooked and evenly seasoned. Also ordered soft shell crabs for appetizer and it was equally impressive. Staff was very nice and attentive.

No air conditioning, which I'm sure wouldn't normally be an issue. We stayed in June and it felt like that had the heater going and the temp was low 70 to high 60s. The room felt like it was 75-80 degrees and there is only a tiny wonder and a desk fan to cool the room. Overall, the room was okay and you can tell it was refurbished... but again for the price, it didn't seem justified. No parking, breakfast is not included and again, still about a 30 min walk to the downtown/ temple bar area.

To get the cheapest itinerary it made sense to have a layover in Dublin, even though it was truly never on our must-see list. We had no regrets! Although Dublin is cold/windy/was even hailing during our May 2016 stay here, it was worth a 1 night layover (and a great way to adjust with jetlag before the big trip began). As for the Maldron, it is imperative to take a Taxi if you are traveling with any more than 2-3 people, because it ends up being cheaper than taking the airport bus. I believe it was about 35 Euros for the cab ride each way, a smooth 35 minute ride. The hotel is a bit aged but had recently been gutted. It is clean, in a safe, quiet (Extremely quiet) neighborhood. If you enjoy walking, it is an easy 15-25 minute stroll to the main downtown area and restaurants. There is also a tram within 5 minutes of the hotel. We found that late at night it was difficult to get a bite to eat near the hotel and thus had to walk into the main strip/downtown area. The hotel staff are kind and quick to respond to any requests and issues. One note is that when going to the airport, if you want to save 2 Euros hail a cab yourself, because any time you have to call ahead of time for a cab the 2 Euros fee is charged!

It is in a convenient location nearby many tourist attractions, such as Temple Bar, Dublin's castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, etc. it was also a short walking distance to our car rental pick up at St Stephen's Green shopping centre. We booked this hotel for the first day of our trip. We arrived in the morning so our room wasn't ready for check in yet, but we were able to drop off our luggage in the lobby. This made it easy for us as we could continue exploring according to our plan (we took a 30 minute train ride over to Howth right after dropping our bags). Coming back to the hotel around 5pm, our room was ready and we were able to nap a bit before dinner. The superior room we booked was located in a renovated section of the hotel and had access to a shared outdoor patio right across from our hotel room. We didn't have time to use the patio but it was spacious and it seemed no one was using it whenever we passed by. Our hotel room was very clean, large (great for us as we had plenty of luggage) and we had two complementary water bottles in the room. We had breakfast the next morning and it was buffet style. There is a section if you want fresh made omelettes. Lots of variety I think but I stuck with the classic Irish breakfast items. So delicious and fresh! Check out process - we had a bit of a hiccup as I had given my credit card for authorization for breakfast charges when I checked in. The staff was asking for my credit card again which confused me as I had already paid. Despite the confusion, the service at Radisson was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel for fellow tourists!

Friendly service.. we were greeted daily with every passing of the check in desk area. Our room was ok- happy it had a small fridge, safe, desk, complimentary water, complimentary slippers, and daily housekeeping upon request. Room didn't have any great city views- just an inner building view. Pillows were flat as pancakes! I did mention to the front desk to add more pillows to our room- orthopedic pillows were offered, but they still were flat. Oh well, just had to layer my sleeping pillows. Breakfast was decent. A beautiful room with an additional upper eating area. Buffet style, with an additional option for made to order. Servers were very friendly and accommodating. Few hotels genuinely deserve every one of their five stars. The Merrion Hotel is one of them…read more We spent three unforgettable nights here in late July, and from the moment we arrived until our departure, every aspect of our stay was flawless. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between historic grandeur and contemporary luxury, delivering an experience that feels both elegant and genuinely welcoming. The staff were exceptional. Every interaction was warm, polished, and effortless, but Robert, the doorman, deserves special recognition. His professionalism, kindness, and sincere hospitality set the tone each time we entered or left the hotel. He embodies the remarkable standard of service that defines The Merrion. Breakfast each morning in the Garden Room was a highlight of our stay. Designed with a relaxed atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the hotel's formal Georgian drawing rooms, it offers one of the finest breakfasts I've ever enjoyed. The buffet showcases exceptional Irish produce, including a wonderful selection of regional honeys, artisanal yogurts, and kefirs sourced from counties across Ireland. The freshly prepared Full Irish Breakfast was, without question, the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked and featuring outstanding local ingredients. The hotel's wellness facilities are equally impressive. The indoor swimming pool is one of the most beautiful hotel pools I've encountered, complemented by an excellent sauna, steam room, fitness center, and luxurious spa that provide a tranquil retreat after a day exploring Dublin. The Merrion's setting is spectacular. Occupying four meticulously restored Georgian townhouses alongside a contemporary Garden Wing, it combines architectural beauty with every modern comfort. Yet what truly distinguishes the property is its extraordinary art collection. Housing Ireland's largest private collection of 19th- and 20th-century Irish art, the hotel feels as much like a museum as it does a luxury hotel. Among my favorite pieces were Sean Scully's striking Vertical Stripes, Jack B. Yeats' magnificent The Hour of Sleep, Louis le Brocquy's haunting Woman in White, and works by Paul Henry, Roderic O'Conor, Mainie Jellett, and William Scott. In the courtyard garden, Rowan Gillespie's bronze sculpture of James Joyce provides a fitting tribute to one of Ireland's literary giants. Wandering the corridors and elegant reception rooms became an experience in itself. What impressed me most, however, was the service. The staff possess an extraordinary ability to anticipate guests' needs without ever being intrusive. Our room was impeccably maintained each day, with thoughtful evening turndown service, replenished water, perfectly arranged slippers, and countless small touches that elevated our stay. One moment particularly stood out. An elderly family member who uses a wheelchair came to visit us during our stay. The compassion, patience, and professionalism shown by every member of the staff made what could have been a challenging visit completely effortless. Their commitment to accessibility and genuine care was deeply appreciated and reflected the hotel's philosophy that true luxury lies in making every guest feel welcome. The Merrion is more than simply Dublin's premier luxury hotel--it is a destination in its own right. With world-class dining, outstanding wellness facilities, museum-quality art, impeccable accommodations, and service that consistently exceeds expectations, it represents Irish hospitality at its absolute finest. I would return without hesitation, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
