Today was my first time visiting the Crepe shop. The hostess was very inviting and friendly. I am growing to love crepes so I was very excited to try this establishment. I ordered a plain Crepe with raspberry jam. I wish the Crepe was sweeter however, it had great texture. The raspberry jam wasn't much of a jam as it was actually raspberries inside the crepe. I was looking forward to actual jam. However, I would love to come back and try the Nova Lux Crepe. Overall, it was a great experience. The ambiance was nice as well. The shop was very clean and neat which I loved.

Look how lovely the flowers and leaves hanging from the ceiling.

What a charming crepe shoppe. We just happened to discover The Crepe Shoppe as we were out shopping. My friend looked at me and I looked at her and in we went. I am so happy we did. It is just beautiful with hanging vines, hanging flowers, lovely paintings, and wall hangings. They have a tv that plays a crackling fireplace. It was so pretty. Service was great. You order at the counter and they bring your crepes to your seat. We ordered the coconut, banana, and chocolate crepe. It was delicious. It was light, fluffy crepes, with loads of filling and layers of fresh ingredients. I can almost taste it now. Super yummy! They have savory and sweet crepes. The menu is large. We will definitely be back. What a great addition to the neighborhood.

This is such a charming little crêpe spot. We stopped in for a dessert crêpe, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We ordered The Triple--swapping the Nutella for lemon curd--to share, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The ingredients were fresh, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. They even split it into halves without us asking. We also each got a fresh juice (Super Orange and Beets), and both were delicious. I'll definitely be back soon.

We've been long time fans of The Crepe Shop - it started under a different name, but has been around for over 10 years now at area farmers markets in MoCo. Now in Downtown Crown, it's nice to see it prospering into a brick and mortar again! The inside is just the right size for a few groups to dine in with seats that can be moved for larger groups. It was bustling with to-go orders when we came in, but service was still prompt and fresh. The crepes were as good as we remember them - the ability to customize mine a little was also nice. We look forward to paying them a visit as much as we can!

*** NEW BRICK & MORTAR LOCATION AT: 202 Ellington Blvd, Gaithersburg MD, 20878. (4.25) ~ Very good Food & service. Recommend they add a laminated menu at the cash register to avoid walking back to the wall mounted one;) Note: Free Garage Parking nearby & Updated Menus attached. DRINKS: ** "Beets by Crepes" = (5) Excellent & Healthy! ** Kale It Up = (4.75) Great! ** Water(self-serve) = (4) very good, must be filtered;) ** Coffee = (4) very fresh & they have teas too;) * Super Orange = (3.75) Good, but too bitter for me, would prefer Orange Juice, even if it's bottled;) FOOD: ** Buenos Dias Crepe (added sausage & avocado) = (4.5) Very Tasty! Favorite Savory! Hint: Ask for one of their homemade Hot Sauces too, either Mild (vinegar based) or Regular, which is HOT!:) ** Lemon Delight Crepe (added whipped cream) = (4.35) Very tasty & Favorite sweet:) Would be better w. Lemon Zest though b/c it needed more lemon flavor;) ** Country Morning Crepe = (4.30) Very good. Love that they use locally sourced sausage. Would be even better if they added a good peppery country gravy;) ** Ham, Egg & Gruyere Crepe (HEG) = (4.25) Very good, although the crepe itself is both average tasting & texture, the filling is very good:) I like crepes that are "stretchier" & semi-sweet;) ** Classic Breakfast Crepe (BEC) = (4) very tasty, although the bacon was too fatty/chewy, so recommend a crispier version.

Tasty crepes and good coffee. Service was quick and friendly in this nicely decorated little crepe cafe. The ham, egg, and cheese crepe and the Nutella crepe were great. Good coffee and lattes. I'm a little concerned if they'll be able to hang on with the pricing on their crepes. I realize rent and employee cost is high but $14 for most of their crepes is a price point close to full meals at other restaurants.

Who puts a half cup of mayonnaise on their crepe--especially when there's no warning of this in the ingredients listed in the menu?

It's in Kentlands on a corner street, the ambiance is not bad, just a bit dimly lit. The crêpier even allowed me to record the process once, since they will make it in front of you. Tuesday 9/17/2024…read more The last time I visited this spot was over a half a decade ago. I remember when me and my family would visit a decent amount. I also remember the crepes I used to get: savory crepe with chicken, sweet crepe with Nutella & fruit, and I think a sweet crepe with white chocolate & fruit. I made an Uber eats delivery order and got a savory crepe (chicken, cheese, tomato's, pesto) $9.94, sweet crepe (Nutella, strawberries, and banana) $9.75, and waffle (apples, brown sugar, cinnamon) $7.50. - The waffle was pretty disappointing but it's a lot better with syrup. The texture was hard & dense and was the complete opposite of how I like my waffles: soft, fluffy, and moist. - The Savory crepe was extremely greasy on first look but it ended up being solid. - The Sweet crepe was alright but nothing special or impressive. Also the fruit could've been fresher. Although I do remember it being a lot better in the past, it's still an alright spot for crepes.

We ordered the Poulet Gruyere ($12.10) without the cracked pepper...and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. They cut it it in half, exactly as I requested. This crepe was generously packed with chicken/mushroom/peppers/cheese consisting of intense flavors. While I appreciate the generous amount of filling in the crepe, the ratio of crepe to filling was a little off. The filling probably would have been easier to eat in a wrap form. Nonetheless, it was still very flavorful and I highly recommend it. They have an extensive menu including sweet/savory crepes, all-day breakfast, waffles, various beverages. There is definitely something for everyone. The cafe has plenty of seating (inside & outside), but I would assume it may be a little crowded if/when they get busy. The employees were very friendly and accommodating in that they gave us an extra cup with ice and split and plated the crepe. I thought it was cool they sell the crepe mix separately. There are plenty of outlets for anyone who needs to charge their devices. One thing to note, the cafe is located in a very tight and potentially busy strip mall. While there is enough parking, it can be limited in the evening (from past experience. Would I return? Possibly, if I'm in the area.
