Wow! I have driven by this place so many times. I am glad I stopped in for dinner. There was a line to the door for tables so I knew this place had to be good and wow, it was. I started with a cold tasty glass of Stag. We also ordered the huge soft pretzel with cheese. This is a meal in itself. So good and fresh! Now for the entree. I had the juicy double cheeseburger with fries. I was slightly full from the delicious pretzel. I was able to enjoy half of my burger and took the rest home for a late night snack. My twin and I dined here on an early Saturday afternoon. Nice bar/ restaurant atmosphere. Many patrons noted at the bar. We sat in the front dining area. She chose the chili cheese dog and I selected the cod fish sandwich. Her cheese dog came out fully loaded with cheese, onions, and beans on top of her hotdog!! She said is was delicious!! My cod fish had a dark brown coating that crunched with each bite. We both had the tater tots, which were served piping hot and crunchy! Service was a little slow but cordial. If it weren't for Brandy, I'm not sure I would have been back. The first time we came, it was a Monday and meatloaf night, and I kid you not- it took like an hour and a half. Our bartender, Brandy, was almost in tears she was so upset for us. She was super attentive, did everything she could to help us, and gave great enough service that we we came back to try it again. The second time was much quicker! We had Brandy again, which made us happy, and the food was great. We've been back a few times, love Tina and Brandy, and have gotten our food significantly faster. I took my son here for dinner and it was very good! I had the chicken tacos and he had the bacon burger. It is a pub so there is also a full bar. The service was great as well. Don't sleep on this place it is an unassuming corner pub with a great vibe. read more

This was our second time here. First time food was great chicken strips and sloppy baked potato. Waitress was extremely attentive and nice. This time - ordered and had a quick tea refill then when the food came out I was missing an item (beer cheese) the waitress never came by to check and see if everything was okay, she was busy talking with people at another table. She was there long enough for me to eat my amazing hamburger and 1/2 of my tots and drink a whole glass of tea About 20 min. Then the person who brought the food out came out asking me if we were supposed to get beer cheese. We said yes and she asked what I was drinking. She left the beer cheese which was cold She said she would bring more tea. 10 minutes later she brought the tea. We finished our meals and about 20 minutes after we were done she finally came back to ask if we need boxes and we asked for the check. My hubby had the chicken wrap which he said was pretty good. She brought the check at 1:47pm and after waiting 10 minutes for her to collect it we walked up to the bar and paid her in cash so we could go. The food is wonderful here just don't expect the best attentive service. - can't win them all. I'm not sure if they need to have additional staff or if they need a better system for serving. This place looks like a dive bar but their food is amazing. They have the biggest pretzel I have ever seen, wings with peanut butter, and a GIANT baked potato with sloppy Joe on top!! Yummmm yummmm. One access problem is the ramp - it is very difficult for anyone in a wheelchair or kneerollator. The employee greeted us warmly. We each ordered different items: Wainwright burger, wings, meatloaf special of the day, Philly sandwich. Every item arrived at the same time and each was good. The draft beer choice was limited. We have tried a variety of things on menu but always come back to the all you can eat chicken on Sunday. The fried chicken is delish! Crispy and cooked to perfection.
