If it weren't for Brandy, I'm not sure I would have been back. The first time we came, it was a Monday and meatloaf night, and I kid you not- it took like an hour and a half. Our bartender, Brandy, was almost in tears she was so upset for us. She was super attentive, did everything she could to help us, and gave great enough service that we we came back to try it again. The second time was much quicker! We had Brandy again, which made us happy, and the food was great. We've been back a few times, love Tina and Brandy, and have gotten our food significantly faster. This was our second time here. First time food was great chicken strips and sloppy baked potato. Waitress was extremely attentive and nice. This time - ordered and had a quick tea refill then when the food came out I was missing an item (beer cheese) the waitress never came by to check and see if everything was okay, she was busy talking with people at another table. She was there long enough for me to eat my amazing hamburger and 1/2 of my tots and drink a whole glass of tea About 20 min. Then the person who brought the food out came out asking me if we were supposed to get beer cheese. We said yes and she asked what I was drinking. She left the beer cheese which was cold She said she would bring more tea. 10 minutes later she brought the tea. We finished our meals and about 20 minutes after we were done she finally came back to ask if we need boxes and we asked for the check. My hubby had the chicken wrap which he said was pretty good. She brought the check at 1:47pm and after waiting 10 minutes for her to collect it we walked up to the bar and paid her in cash so we could go. The food is wonderful here just don't expect the best attentive service. - can't win them all. I'm not sure if they need to have additional staff or if they need a better system for serving. This place looks like a dive bar but their food is amazing. They have the biggest pretzel I have ever seen, wings with peanut butter, and a GIANT baked potato with sloppy Joe on top!! Yummmm yummmm. I ordered the Friday special Fried fish. I ordered a half pound with 2 sides. The spaghetti was amazing and the homemade chips are awesome. My waitress Kennedy was amazing as well. One access problem is the ramp - it is very difficult for anyone in a wheelchair or kneerollator. The employee greeted us warmly. What a great hidden gem! Didn't know this places existed until my brother found a gift card he had for them in his car. Went for lunch and the food was great! Love this place! My family comes to Belleville once a month and this is our go to for a late lunch. We have tried a variety of things on menu but always come back to the all you can eat chicken on Sunday. The fried chicken is delish! Crispy and cooked to perfection. Sides of green beans and mashed potatoes and country gravy are just as good as chicken. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Wished I lived closer, this would be my go to. These little deep fried tacos are loaded with a ground beef/refried bean mixture and the flour shell is a little sweet, not too crunchy, not too puffy. So good! Toppings included shredded lettuce and cheese arranged separately with fresh, finely-chopped tomatoes, taco sauce and sour cream packets. I was invited to a birthday party tonight but had no idea what to expect. It is a very friendly, open area tavern with karaoke, slots, lots of tv's and great food. We shared some pizza and wings which were all good. The wings are breaded but very tasty. My buddy had a loaded baked potato and it was the biggest potato I have ever seen. It was at least 9 inches long and as big around as a beer can. It was covered in bavcon, cheese, butter and sour cream for $6.95. Drinks were very reasonable and everyone was friendly.
