Pretty typical brew house type vibe with plentiful seating inside and a pleasant outside patio with bench seating. Extensive beer selection, wings, salads, flatbreads and burgers. I sat at the bar and had a beer and some wings. Honey Cajun BBQ sauce was very good and unique, while the garlic parmesan was ok but would have been better as a dry rub. Bartender was friendly, attentive, professional. Overall solid experience and consistent with what I was hoping for- will come back. read more

Solid place to grab a drink! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the space and vibes. It was sunny out with plenty of seating. The space itself it's fun- bright and clean, lots of decor on the walls. Our bartender was quick and attentive, and there was a large selection of beers to choose from. Stop by and get yourself a drink! read more

I'm here for lunch to grab a beer and watch some World Cup games. They started off with the Alaskan amber and the Callie blood orange ale. Both were excellent. So we got the Bavarian pretzel with beer, cheese and stoneground mustard which was amazing. The pretzel was piping hot crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavor was delicious. For our second round, we got a dream sickle and a Munich Dunkel. With that round, we got the brat bites appetizer with caramelized onions. It was fantastic. The atmosphere is basically a sports bar and with the World Cup games on it was quite fun to sit there and enjoy some unique beers and some awesome appetizers. Our bartender doubled as our server with a little help from the kitchen staff. This place is definitely worth your stop in. read more

So first off, our server was fantastic and the service was great. The food, just wasn't it. The cheese curds were good, but the only taste we got from either of our burgers (the mushroom swiss and the black and brew) was the taste of burnt griddle. They just tasted like ash. The chocolate stout was great, the vibe was chill, but the food just wasn't for us. read more

I never planned on going back then yesterday a group of us went golfing and wanted to go so we went. My husband got a beer and i refused to get anything but kept a good attitude. I did not see the bartender that robbed us (every time) but idk if he still works there. The court yard was very run down looking. The bartender area looked nice. read more

This was a fun evening...first time taking the dog. It's so nice to have a place to go that is pet friendly! Place was clean and easy to read beer boards. Server was friendly...not overly attentive but she got the job done. The food was pretty good. We have had the chicken wings before which we think are fantastic. First time having a flatbread...I really enjoyed it only wished it had a little less queso cheese it kind of made the bread soggy...would order again with less cheese! read more

Stopped in for some drinks and watched a game. Nice place to drink, but not sure about food we didn't eat here. Drinks are priced good.

Food was mediocre. I wanted a new place to love! Some attention to the detail of the food could greatly improve this place. It's got a cool vibe and decorated well. Probably great to meet a friend for drinks during an event. read more

My friends and I came here after having dinner elsewhere. You'd think they'd have food options or appetizers. The building is connected to Bella Milanos and first watch. So parking is limited. I tried their moscato which was good. Then I tried their pomegranate Moscow Mule which was really good. It's a nice place if you're wanting to chill. Have some beers or cocktails with friends. They do have a fire pit out in the back. I haven't been here since around the first time they opened. What I remember they did games out back too! Our server was friendly and helpful on explaining the drink options. I'd go back again for just drinks. read more

I love the ambiance of this place. It's pretty large on the inside with a good amount of sitting options. Most of the seats are high top so be mindful of that. And the tables are a good amount taller than the chairs so it's a little awkward to sit but you get used to it after a bit. They have a very American style menu. I had a smash burger that tasted very charbroiled. The patty was delicious! I should have asked to add ketchup as it was a little dry. And I would have liked more pickles and lettuce on the burger. Tater tots were very tasty! They were crispy and perfect. The service was prompt. The food came out quickly and the waiter checked on us numerous times throughout our visit. They do allow dogs inside so if you're not into that.. this may not be a place you'd want to dine in at lol. read more

I came to this place a couple years back, so I thought I would stop and try it again. It's a pity they don't greet you when you get there, and the waitress kept me waiting, while she sat on her stool by the bar. I had the cheapest whiskey they had, and it was pretty good. I had the three tacos, and they satisfied my hunger. Other than that, my whole experience was just less than optimal. read more

Located in a strip mall, Global Brew seems to rely on the different hotels around them to survive, but don't let that stop you. Monday, they offer flights for $12, which is a GREAT deal, ESPECIALLY considering the amount of beers on tap. But first, we were greeted as we walked in like we were regulars. We aren't. As a matter of fact, we were on our way to another place, so I could not partake in a flight. I had a Moscow mule, and it was par. Nothing spectacular but tasty. It's made from a mix per our waitress. I loved all the taps on the wall, the music, the bar, the sign in the women's restroom and especially Jenna. Also... almost forgot this place is super clean. Like eat off the floor clean. (But don't. ) We had Just Tots for an appetizer, and that is what they were tots with ketchup. They were crispy, hot and so tasty. Before your say, how could they screw up tots. Trust me. Some places do. These were ordered when I was looking at the drinks. If I had been asked, I would have ordered the cheesy bacon ranch tots. For dinner, we got the Cod Fish Tacos and the Double Decker Beef Tacos. It would have been nice if we could have had corn tortillas for the Cod Fish but still tasty. If you know me, you know that I'm a wuss when it comes to hot/spicy. These were a little hot for me although no one else felt that way. They were still really good. They are also raising money for Pawgust. Which benefits Gateway Pet Guardians. Tuesdays, they have bingo and Sundays they have trivia, and then last weekend, they had a Harry Potter theme going on with special drinks, beer, posters, trivia. Supposedly, it was all decked out. Would I come back? Definitely!! read more

Terrible service on the evening of December 26th. The bartender could've cared less about service, being polite or helpful. We moved to a table, the waitress who saw us sit down then went to the bar and sat down talking to the bar tender and never waited on us, so we left and walked out! Terrible service with only two other tables there so they were NOT busy! The owners need to know their staff are driving customers away!! read more

Score to finding an indoor venue that serves both food and beverages. Wait staff was friendly and nice, but only concern is wait time for food. Thankfully we changed our afternoon plans to allow time to receive our orders. A great place to visit for a meal and drinks especially if not in a rush. It may be helpful in the future if we order any food, staff can give a heads up early in the beginning in case customers may be short on time. Thanks! read more

Stopped into Global Brew when we first arrived in this area. We just wanted some food and drinks. Didn't know it was more of a bar scene but that didn't bother us. Quickly figured out that they had a great selection of beverages to choose from and food that the whole family would love. The staff were super welcoming and answered any questions that we had. Wife is very particular about what she drinks so the waitress gave her several recommendations and guided her to what she would like. Even came back and offered something new when it didn't hit the mark. It was an overall great experience and we will be back! read more

I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the parking lot, and wanted a good place to get some beers. This place came up on Yelp and was super close, so I tried it out! The interior was very large and the seating was plentiful. The beer selection is HUGE, and has choices from all over the country, so I was able to try out a bunch of different styles. They do flights, which is also helpful. Unfortunately, they don't do half pours if you only want a little of one or two. The food selection is decent, but not very large. It's standard fare like sandwiches and fries. The service was quick and friendly, but then again it was pretty empty that night. I would definitely come back here if I stayed nearby. It's a solid choice if you're thirsty! read more

Really nice tap beer bar, so many choices that you really have to struggle with what you want to drink. You can't drink them all, can you? Anyway, the beer selection, draft and bottle, was excellent. Great representation from all over the country and world. The food menu was pretty good but surprised there weren't a good selection of pizzas to choose from. None the less, we enjoyed the charcuterie board. It actually filled us up and had more choices than I'm used to seeing. My only "complaint", very minor, is that it was FREEZING sitting at the bar. Your AC works exceptionally well guys. read more

Global Brew Tap House - A bit pricey for the tertiary plate but very much worth it. - Brewpubs Near Me - O'fallon, Illinois

Went here for some beers and food with co workers. Myself and another picked a beer in the menu only to be told they hadn't tapped it yet so it was unavailable, okay. We all ordered dinner. First guy got his order (tacos). About the time he was done eating (10 minutes) two more orders come out (. 2 cheeseburgers). Another time minutes pass and the 4th person asks about his dinner ( a grilled cheese sandwich) and the server came back that it was almost done. Kind of sad that it took about 30 minutes to get food and staggered by so much. The food was average nothing fantastic Applebees or Chili's level. The beers were good and the server was great. We (4 people) sat at a high top table and it was fairly small to accommodate us. There were two larger parties 8-10 each so that may have contributed to the kitchen being slow. It was pretty loud at our small table we were having to raise out voices to talk. Maybe the patio would have been better but it was 100+ . I would go back for beers as they do have a good selection. The food as I said is average nothing that stood out. Give it a shot maybe it was a one off the night we went. read more

Really cool place to bring all your friends! They have a pretty good menu and an insane beer selection from all over the world. I loved that they had other options too, and I really enjoyed some of their ciders. The service was fabulous; they were super on top of it and we never had to ask for anything or flag down our server. The only thing that made me super uncomfortable was the fact they allowed a very large, wry loud barking dog to run around the restaurant without a leash. I love dog friendly places, but this was just too much for comfort. Otherwise, great hangout spot though! read more

There are a ton of beers on tap. The atmosphere is nice. I'm just not a craft beer/microbrew guy, but if you are, this is the place for you.

Came by for a quick lunch on the holiday Monday back in February. Wasn't very busy. Lots of parkong. Lots of seating tables and bar. They had a great deal of a lunch special going on. Any grilled cheese and tots for I think $10 or $12. We had just made it in the time frame. There's a separate food counter/window that you order and pay at. My sandwich was yummy. It was the one with pickled onions. My gf got the havarti one which was good too except for one odd corner section of her sandwich. The bread was super hard and inedible. The drink selection was plentiful. As a non beer drinker I was recommended a deliciously sweet strawberry lambic by the knowledgeable bartender. read more

We love Global Brew especially now that they have a appetizer menu. An absolutely can't beat beer selection and convenient location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Service is good, beer selection is vast with average priced drinks. The food is good, but way overpriced for the portion size. For example, 1 draft, Smash burger (4 oz patty) including side of tots... $26 with tip. Double patty would have made it ALMOST worth it. Another patty would add $4. Won't eat there again. read more

If I could rate Zero stars I would. We arranged for a 28 person party at 11am a week in advance. It is currently 1pm and not everyone has received their food orders yet. Completely disorganized and lackadaisical management would know of this event yet not ensure adequately staffed to handle the influx of customers. In all of my 34 years of experience I have never seen such carless conduct being presented by any food establishment. Extremely disappointed as I know this doesn't reflect on the level of quality this business isn't advertising as an incentive to attract it's customers. Extremely embarrassed for this as it ultimately falls upon poor management and not the staff working during this unfortunate experience. read more

All of our food was dry--including the sauces somehow??? The pretzel was room temperature and the beer cheese was chunky-dry. My burger was overcooked with the only saving grace being the sriracha mayo from the side of tots. Friend ordered the meatball sub and ended up asking for an extra side of marinara... which again, was somehow dry! The extensive beer selection was awesome but difficult to enjoy. The obnoxiously loud atmosphere and near constant interruption of the server (Sunday evening) detracted greatly from enjoying beverages or conversation. read more

Found this place while looking for a place to wait out an interstate traffic jam. FANTASTIC decision! What an amazing place in the East St Louis area. This place has great bar food but the best thing that steals your heart is the tots! Definitely ask for it with beer sauce! You won't regret it. Depending on your bartender this can be a really pleasant place to try some beers out. If your bartender hates his life and his existence though you may not have a pleasant time. The beer selection is indeed wide and varied, but the service is nonchalant at best (Note - the kitchen staff are pretty good.) We were 8 sitting at a table and my beer was almost finished. The waiter came and took 4 re-orders and left the other 4 hanging? He came back with their 4 beers and left again? My friend who had yet to order a drink was eventually able to get his attention, and the waiter came to take his order. By now, my beer glass was empty. He took one order and left. I had to holler "excuse me sir" which magically worked, and I was finally able to order a 2nd beer. Unfortunately, I felt like I was a nuisance rather than a customer. read more

We were pleasantly surprised with this place. We aren't beer drinkers but we're looking for a dog friendly place while passing through on our road trip. They allow dogs inside but we chose outside because we have a nervous dog. It was chilly but their fire pit was awesome.
