I've been a member of this studio for over 14 years. Rita hires the best instructors. They have a great $149 monthly membership - all the classes are free - separate charge for reformer. Big variety morning & evening classes: Spin, Core Barre Cardio, Kettlebell Swing, Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Stronger, Core Bosu, TRX, Metabolic Conditioning, Barefoot Cardio, etc.... You can work with a private instructor (separate charge). It's the only place I've exercised regularly. They offer different options for classes from punch card etc... The best part of the monthly pass is you can take classes remotely via Zoom. So, when I'm on vacation I can log into the class or take it when I feel like it if I'm in a different time zone. I hesitate to give anything more or less than three stars. I attended a yoga class about a year and a half ago and was not impressed. The class size was small, which I liked, but the teacher almost seemed like she was "phoning it in". She spent more time being familiar with the other students who were clearly regulars and not a lot of time instructing. We did work towards a pose that I had not done up until that class, which was a nice change, but otherwise I had no desire to go back. I've thought about it since, and there is a yoga teacher named Jessica that I enjoyed at another studio who now works there. I would go there to try her classes, and then see where that goes. read more

I love Core Connection! I've been taking yoga with Caitlin for the past 5 years and I can honestly say I haven't found a better instructor! Her classes are well paced and include multiple levels of difficulty. Caitlin is awesome at providing various adapted poses to suit how you want your practice to go. She has a way of making the class enjoyable while helping you get in a great restorative workout. Additionally, all members of the staff at Core Connection are fabulous! They always remember my name (even though I am a college student who only gets to come back on breaks!). I would recommend this studio to anyone! read more

I have been attending classes at Core Connection for two years and I love it!. Rita, the owner, really cares about each client and makes sure that you get the most from each workout. She hires teachers who insist on proper movement and form. At other studios you might attend a pilates class and get very little out of the experience. At Core Connection you are sure to use the muscles you are supposed to. The workouts are safe and effective. Plus, Rita keeps you laughing. In my opinion, a great alternative to a regular gym. I'm finding as I get older, I'm looking to torture my body less but still get great results. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to yoga and found Core Connection to be very welcoming and now understand why everyone says yoga is so wonderful. As my friend said, "yoga makes you feel like you have new hips". My instructor, Caitlin, was fantastic. She was so helpful and able to guide me, even when I thought there was no way I could ever do a certain pose. Rita's classes are great, and I really like the yoga classes. However, some of the instructors and clients have been rude and unfriendly to me on occasion--there is definitely a "mean girls" vibe to this place. Plus, although you really do get a much better workout than at an average gym, membership/classes are very expensive. read more

I tentatively started attending in February 2015, unsure of what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The students were friendly and the teacher was attentive. I slowly began taking more classes and have since made this my home studio. Rita's Stretch & Tone class is a reprieve from my busy week while Eileen's classes are focused on restorative yoga. Core Connection is a great place. I really enjoy Caitlin's yoga classes. She has a very soothing voice and her positive energy inspire you to push yourself to have your best practice. Every week I feel I gain more flexibility and grow stronger in my yoga abilities. Caitlyn is very patient and she assists everyone so they can all achieve their best. Excellent place to practice Pilates and yoga. Recently moved to the area and have found 'The Core Connection' to be a professionally run studio with quality staff. Rita, the owner, is a great motivator and quality instructor. I have been taking Pilates for a while but feel my fitness level has improved from her classes. Lora and Jessica are great yoga instructors. I have been introduced to and love 'restorative yoga' at this studio. The studio space is well put together and the complete with the right equipment to make your exercise experience top notch. Jenn is also a great Pilates mat instructor. I've been exercising at this studio for over 4 years, started off doing Pilates and then Zumba, tried Barre and Yoga, even Tabata and Boot Camp style classes. I was never that into exercise but the expert and fun instructors and friendly clientele have encouraged me to keep returning and now exercise and stretching is part of my daily life. Rita the owner is certified and teaches Alignment classes (from Katy Bowman, who has a huge amount of information on her website). As someone with musculoskeletal issues the Alignment classes have been hugely helpful for me to understand how to move properly in daily life and how to exercise safely in classes. Since learning about Alignment from Rita I have had less injury and been able to understand what exercise classes are right for me. The Core uses the MindBody app making it easy to sign up for classes. They offer a 2 week first timers pass and encourage you to try out many different classes. Thanks for the response but, I wrote this review before you ever reached out to me. Of course that didn't help me when I needed a cortisone shot or PT for my injury. I wasn't aware that it would occur and that didn't allow me to return at that time. (I hope you are not blaming the victim for poor service, injury following beginner instructor advice, and late communication). I do hope your service has improved for new members.
