We bought General Entry tickets & wildflower picking tickets online a few weeks in advance. When we got to the gardens they asked for our names and directed us to park. Once inside we stopped over a the bar for a wine tasting - all of the wines are made in Tennessee on property - and bought 2 bottles for us to enjoy throughout the night. We also checked in for wildflower picking at the bar and were given glass jars to fill with flowers. The staff was very kind and helpful during that process. I also thoroughly enjoyed the free strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade that they provided guests, though some of my friends thought it was too sweet! Our one mistake was not going to pick flowers earlier in the night. We started when the sun was setting, but the area was so large that it was dark by the time we were finished. It was also the last week for wildflower picking, so there weren't as many left available as I imagine there is earlier in the month. We also ordered pasta from Pasta Gailfi, a food truck that was on site and enjoyed it at our table. If I were to do it over again, I would also bring our own food and a deck of cards or a board game for us to enjoy as well! The venue was stunning, and I imagine it acts as a beautiful wedding venue as well.

The garden ceremony area was expansive with the sun shining over the fields. The setting made the perfect backdrop for the couple's photos, complete with wildlife in the background. After a lovely ceremony, we enjoyed cocktail hour and then moved into the reception space, which was exactly what this couple had dreamed of. The band played, and we danced the night away. Just note there's no air conditioning in the reception barn, but there are very large fans. Long Hollow Gardens & Vineyards was the perfect venue for this Bride and Grooms dream wedding. It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The hospitality matched the views, with a warm and friendly staff that made our personal tasting--shared alongside a lovely couple visiting from England--truly special. We explored the tasting options among three of us: Red Flight: Chosen by my father. White Flights: Enjoyed by both my sister and me. Sweet Selection: An alternative flight offering a mix of red and white options. Wine is wonderfully personal, and while I appreciated their selection overall, the whiskey-barrel-aged wines weren't quite to my taste, as I generally prefer wines aged in oak or stainless steel (especially whites). A Helpful Tip for Visitors: While there are handicap parking spaces, we found the walk up to the tasting room a bit challenging for our mother due to back issues. We later discovered a couple of parking spaces closer to the entrance, as well as a staircase. Thankfully, we were able to drive up the hill to pick her up afterward, sparing her the walk back down! After our tasting, we relaxed outside with a picnic lunch we brought ourselves. All in all, I truly enjoyed our visit and would love to return for one of their concerts. Apparently, we weren't the only ones having trouble, as another table also arrived quite late because they couldn't find the location. Just a heads-up: don't expect the food portions to fill you up! These are small bites meant to complement the wines rather than serve as a meal. What I really enjoyed was how thoughtfully the wines and desserts were paired. There were a few wines I initially thought I wouldn't like, but surprisingly, I ended up enjoying them once paired with the right dessert. It really showed how much a good pairing can change your appreciation of a wine! The tasting was enjoyable, the setting was lovely, and the price was very reasonable for the experience. We had over a dozen wines during a tasting and each one stood on its own. Each one was exactly as described and had its own individual taste profile and wonderful complexity. A flight of 6 1-oz pours for around $7. I was not expecting much at that price. What I got was complex wines, fully mature and exceptionally balanced. Single grape or multiple blends . Some un-oaked. Some finished in bourbon barrels. A full page of dry or semi dry reds and whites. And a full page of fruity wines. While some were sweet, I never felt that sugar was the main profile. I was shocked the Rhubarb wine was a fav- tasty, tart, and sweet all at one time. Liberty was a combination of 3 reds finished in bourbon barrels. Surprisingly complex with a wonderful finish . And I surprised myself when I brought home a bottle of Apple Pie. Notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. I'm going to pair it with a special dinner built around this bottle. I'm as surprised as you are. They also have a very solid Bourbon list with tastings fairly priced. Yup. A Winery that offers solid bourbons not normally available at most other bars. Our hostess was Hope. The service throughout the evening was disappointing. The bartenders appeared overwhelmed, unfriendly, and unwilling to provide basic customer service.
