I trusted the salon enough to return expecting that result to be maintained. On my most recent $350 service, I specifically requested a darker base while preserving and touching up my existing highlights, keeping highlights throughout, and maintaining dimension and contrast. That is not what I received. Instead, my hair was left significantly darker overall with fewer highlighted pieces, sporadic isolated blonde strands, large dark sections, minimal interior highlights, uneven placement, and a major loss of dimension and contrast. I paid for full highlights and color not scattered, disconnected pieces. I have been walking around with this horror show result since August, What has made this even more frustrating is the lack of communication. I submitted multiple messages through the Tribez website with no meaningful response. I have also called the salon repeatedly the phone rings, but there has been no pickup and no callback. At this point, my issue is not just the hair result. It is also the lack of follow-up, accountability, and customer service after spending nearly $1,000 with this business. I am requesting a professional resolution: either a no-cost corrective service performed by a different experienced senior stylist, or appropriate compensation/refund for the service that did not match what I requested. I have extensive before and after photos documenting the difference between the result Tribez had previously achieved and the current condition of my hair. After 3 visits: 8.9/10. Latest $350 service: -0/10. I genuinely wanted this to be a positive long-term salon relationship, but a loyal paying client should not have to repeatedly chase a business just to get a response.

Jessi is that good that I've followed her through various salons. She takes the time to really understand your hair and what would be the best cut and color to make you feel like you but more stylish. Jessi is honest and easy to talk to. I always leave with a haircut and color I love and that I get compliments on. The salon is great as it's the perfect size, not too big or small. They use Bumble and Bumble and Kerastase products, which are both top notch. It's clean, they play great music and have good coffee and snacks. I highly recommend Jessi to anyone looking for a great haircut experience.

The woman who answered was so kind and welcoming. I didn't get her name, but she referred me to Maria and even let me know Maria would be leaving soon--but she was willing to wait for me. Maria went above and beyond. She waited for me, fixed my hair beautifully, and had me in and out in less than an hour. She was professional, talented, and made the entire experience stress-free. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and Hartz & West Salon truly delivered. I think I've found my new salon! Thank you, Maria, and thank you to the kind receptionist for making me feel so welcome. This was on June 19th 2026 sorry for the late post.

She's truly the only person I feel satisfied and completely happy cutting my hair. She's so knowledgeable, thorough, patient, detailed oriented and I can truly relax in her chair. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Especially Jenny Komlev!…read more I honestly cannot believe how unprofessional and inexperienced this salon is. Based on my experience, I seriously question whether the stylist has the proper training, qualifications, or experience to be charging these kinds of prices. They seem completely clueless when it comes to even basic hair coloring techniques. The products they use also seem cheap and questionable in quality. I wouldn't be surprised if they were using some homemade products, because nothing about my experience gave me confidence in their professionalism. What really blew my mind was that, before even starting, they actually warned me that I might not get the color I wanted, but I would STILL be responsible for paying the full amount. I'm sorry, WHAT?! If you're charging $500 for PARTIAL HIGHLIGHTS, you better know exactly what you're doing! Why are you charging professional salon prices when you can't even confidently tell a customer that you can deliver the service they're paying for? I would MUCH rather pay $1,000 to a skilled, experienced stylist who knows what they're doing than waste $500 at a salon that seems to be guessing its way through the process. And what makes it even worse is how they make customers feel like they're the problem for expecting the results they were promised or paying for. Instead of taking accountability or acknowledging their own limitations, they make you feel stupid for questioning their work. It's absolutely ridiculous. Stop calling yourself a professional hair salon if you cannot confidently perform the services you're charging hundreds of dollars for! Customers are paying for your expertise, not for you to experiment on their hair at their expense. From my experience, this salon seems far more passionate about collecting money than delivering quality results or satisfying its customers. I saw no genuine commitment to customer service, professionalism, or accountability. Save your hair, save your money, and go somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.

Best recommendation ever - this lady is absolutely incredible! I have thin, fine hair that's almost impossible to do anything with and she worked absolute magic with it every time. She also recommended me products that have completely transformed my hair and it so much thicker and healthier now. I've just moved to the East Coast and am gutted I have to start the search for a good hair dresser again. Thank you so much for the amazing job you did with my hair Hollie!

I'm posting this a little late, but better late than never…read more I visited this salon and specifically met with a stylist named Gina for what I thought was a very simple basic service, just a few highlights on the top of my hair. I explained exactly what I wanted, and showed her my picture of the previous highlight I had done 2 years ago. it should have been a straightforward appointment. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. The entire top section of my hair turned orange, and there were no visible highlights at all. I left the salon shocked and upset because the outcome was completely different from what I had requested. Instead of subtle highlights, the whole top of my hair was one orange color. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way my concerns were handled afterward. When I contacted the manager to discuss the outcome, I was met with a condescending attitude. Rather than listening to my concerns and trying to find a solution, the conversation quickly turned argumentative. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience left me questioning the level of training and professionalism at this salon. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this establishment to others. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in both customer service and basic hair-coloring skills.
