My favorite cookie place growing up and it still is. All the cookies are huge and the place smells amazing. They offer a wide variety of yummy cookies. The sugar cookie is absolutely amazing, it is tender and has just the right amount of frosting. It's sweet, but not too sweet. I found the special cookie to be a bit tough and not anything special, maybe it was just old since I went towards the end of the day, but I probably wouldn't get it again. read more

So first of all do not go here it will cost you $4 for one cookie. I repeat $4 for one cookie of course it still says on the wall that cookies are two dollars and if you buy so many you get so many free. Then she rang me up and I realize that my mom hadn't got a cookie and then I reminded her it was just one cookie and she said yeah it's been $1.79 for like 15 years and they had to raise it and I said that it still says two dollars. Anyway of course I had already started munching on it so I couldn't really return it. Very disappointing and will not be back. There's lots of other great sweets around there like , nothing Bundt cakes, cold stone, and multiple different restaurants that have dessert. There's even a frozen yogurt place and a candy factory. My bestie and her kids are struggling to find reasons to smile during today's uncertainty and Stay at Home orders so I was looking for ways to help. I could not find The Cookie Company on Postmates or any other food delivery services so I called the store when they opened to find out if they worked with a specific delivery vendor. The nicest woman ever, a true Angel, answered the phone and offered to deliver my order herself! the delivery was completed in less than 3 hours and created the biggest smiles possible! I really enjoyed the cookies and it's a perfect, cheap dessert spot for after dinner in Southlands. The cookies are very large and only $2 per cookie. I try to talk my roommates into getting cookies from here almost every time we eat in Southlands. I've tried a few different flavors and they have all been delicious but my favorite is "The Gourmet" with chocolate chips and walnuts. read more

I've been going to this place ever since I was in middle school. The mall it's located in recently opened up when I was in middle school and so we would go there with a group of friends every weekend and always made sure to buy a cookie before we left. I moved away from Aurora so i am no longer near it so unfortunately i haven't gone for awhile until recently. And let me just tell you, nothing has changed about this place and it's simply still just as amazing. You truly know when a company puts passion and love into what they put out and sell and you can tell these cookies are out of this world. They have so many variety of cookies and personally my favorite is the red velvet cookie. It's so inexpensive and you always leave with a big smile on your face. OMG! I love this store. Most people know I'm not a big sweet eater and only eat fresh items. The reason why I came into the store was buy some cookies for an office that treated me right regularly. While they were telling me the prices of day old cookies i did the normal turn my nose up. But I bought one and tried one and now I'm hooked. Every Thursday they expect me and ask me about my health as they know I'm only in the area for physical therapy. Who does that anymore? Such good people!!!! The cookies are the BEST !!! They are not your typical Mrs Field Cookies ! These are big, soft, chewy, melt-in-your mouth cookies. It was my husband's birthday and I happened to be walking by so I stopped in to pick him up a dozen. WOW ! I'd walked by this place dozens of times and never paid any attention. We bought a dozen and while some were good some were not. The peanut butter/chocolate chip/oatmeal had 2 flavorless chocolate chips in the entire cookie and I think tasted peanut butter in one bite. The same with the red velvet - way too icky sweet without cream cheese frosting, which I assumed was the white frosting - nope, it was powdered sugar icing. The peanut butter and chocolate were pretty good and the ginger was great! read more

I love love The Cookie Company! I've been coming here since I was in high school. The cookies are always super tasty and soft, which are my favorite. Not to mention, the size of these cookies is a bit larger too. There are many different cookies that are offered here, with the "Special" being my ultimate favorite. This is peanut butter cookie with a pile of chocolate chips on top and it is SOOO GOOOOD! I also have found another favorite recently, called the O.D. (Over Dose). This is a fudge cookie with chocolate frosting on top, the cure for chocolate lovers like me. I've also tried the OG chocolate chip cookie from here and it is really good. They have about 20 different options for you to choose from so it can be overwhelming, but they also offer great deals if you buy the cookies in bulk. One cookie is only $2 or you can buy a dozen for $20! Not too shabby. They also do birthday cakes as well, which I recently did the O.D. for my 24th birthday cake. So delicious! The employees are always friendly here and the service is quick. You walk up to the counter and get to see all the different flavors they have that day and order as you would like. Then you pay at the cash register when you're finished. If you love giant, soft, and tasty cookies, this is your place believe me! They do not disappoint. read more

I have stopped by the Cookie Company many times over the years, after having dinner at one of the Southlands Mall area restaurants for desert, and I have never been disappointed. The cookies are made fresh in store daily, and my favorite is the "PBOCC" which is a combination of a peanut butter/oatmeal/chocolate chip cookie. My wife loves the snickerdoodle and my kids love the Chocolate Overload (chocolate cookie with chocolate chips and chocolate frosting) and the Sugar Cookies. read more

I haven't had a cookies that wasn't good here. I'm not sure how long the cookie company has been in southland but I remember coming a few years back and it was just as good! My girlfriend was taking a class nearly across the street, so I thought I'd check it out. I was disappointed that they've apparently stopped making crêpe cakes as that was a favorite. There were none in the case and they're no longer mentioned on the Web site. Alas. However, there were lots of interesting items on display. I selected a Strawberry Croissant, a Chocolate Cupcake, and one of the cake cups: Ube Tres Leches Milk Cake. I'd never seen anything like that last item before. The strawberry croissant is filled with fresh strawberries and vanilla cream. I was worried that it might be soggy, but it was crispy, flaky and very tasty. The frosting on the cupcake was chocolate-flavored chantilly cream. This was heavenly. Absolutely perfect. I never contemplated ube plus tres leches. There is a traditional Vietnamese version (ha, you Latin purists!) that uses the flavors of Vietnamese iced coffee, but ube is a new approach. The number of different cultures involved here is making my head spin, but the result was delightful, of course. A mini cake in a paper ice cream cup is also a great idea. More substantial and easier to eat than a cupcake, but still a good snack for one person. Service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The business faces Colfax Avenue. There's street parking plus a large, free parking lot behind the building. There are a number of tables if you can't wait to get your purchases home and a variety of drinks including Vietnamese coffee, a full espresso bar, tea, and lemonade. Bánh mi and other breakfast and lunch sandwiches are available plus rice bowls. I really enjoyed my purchases. Downtown Aurora is a bit of a drive for me, but I definitely need to make the trip more often.

Never knew this place existed until walking around this weekend. It's a small little ship with big flavor and smells of delicious cookies. There are so many different cookies to choose from that are freshly baked. Best part they are only $2 each or buy 20 get 2 free! Yaaaz please. I got the Gourmet which is chocolate chip and walnuts, pretty darn good I will say. There was the special which totally looked amazing with hundreds of little chocolate chips...total drool factor. Also there was a smores one that looked oh so good, gooey and I would have melted, but had to keep myself under control. This place also does cookies cakes for social occasions or any occasions really, which can say no to a cookie cake? Not me! Will definitely be back when I'm in Southlands to try some more of these cookies. Cookies were nice and warm with the chocolate chips melted inside just right. My order was missing a cookie, but they were sure to bring me a cookie in a timely manner, and even added an ice cream treat to it. Love it! Would definitely order again. read more
