This happened to me 5 times yesterday when my system was seizing up I.e. black picture + intermittent sound. I have replaced their internet module 3 times; each time the task to reboot the system to working took 5 hours; you have to sign in in different ways for each premium channel you are paying for; it takes different passwords and different identity confirmations to make it work properly. In our area DIRECTV has a monopoly on prime, Netflix, YouTube, Disney, you name it; and their website does not work I.e. I cannot sign in without being rejected or terminated. Perhaps some day ( by the turn of the century) DIRECTV will get it that it is actually easier to provide reliable content signal and accessible customer support. Perhaps some smart law firm will take them to task to change their unprofessional conduct; until then expect lots of problems if you have to use them to receive the content you desire in CALIF.

When the problem was finally solved, Jay came back to set up my DIRECTV. DSI showed responsibility and attention to detail where my apartment simply did not. Here's why: I visited the Astound PO store two weeks ago and addressed my bill with a representative. We agreed upon a fair price point. Following, I received a bill statement from Astound highlighting an increase to $149.00 which was almost twice my previous bill and more than double the new price point agreed upon when I visited the Astound PO storefront. So ... I dropped in on SATURDAY, November 15 and met with Joey; he was working alone and there was a line literally out the door. He was gracious and timely with everyone one of us. This was impressive! When we spoke, he said he would get back to me on Monday for he needed to reun this by his supervisor or team. Today, MONDAY, the 17th, he called me with good news, the plan was reduced. And he demonstrated what he promised: 1. A call back 2. And follow through on the billing And I am happy to continue to be an Astound customer another year due to Joey's service.
