The Comedy Fort is a Fort Collins gem! I've been to several shows and had a great time at each one. They curate a wonderfully talented schedule of comics and the drink ordering process is super quick and easy. Their email lists advertises discounted events often as well! read more

Love this venue and it has an awesome local vibe. Staff is always awesome and a must see.

Love this little comedy venue. While small, it still comfortable seats everyone without feeling like you're all packed in there. I love that the services are through QR codes at your table and you can reorder quickly through the app. The service was PHENOMENAL! I don't know how they're so quick but it was impressive. Tried the Orange Cream Vodka drink and it was not my favorite, I wouldn't personally order it again, but there are so many other options to choose from, including NA drink choices and snacks. Had a great time, will definitely come back! read more

I went to a show here and really enjoyed it! The space feels intimate, and they made it easy to order food and drinks and pay on a smartphone without the show being disrupted. Their drinks are reasonably priced (at least compared to what I'm used to with comedy clubs in Phoenix) and some came out surprisingly strong. The night we were supposed to be here, the original headliner backed out last minute, and I was impressed about how the venue made it right. They pulled together a new act that was great and also credited back the full cost of the tickets. Our group looks forward to returning for a new show! read more

One of the best venues I have ever been to. The drinks were great, service was quick. You're able to order from a QR code on your chair which makes the process very simple. Great spot for a date night to get some laughs. Easy parking and just a solid spot over all. read more

I love coming here. I end up thinking every time I go is the best set I've seen. You are sure to get a ton of laughs! The feel inside the club is not what you expect at first, but definitely cozy and clean. The service for the drink menu is VERY fast! There isn't food served there, but they have little bags of chips or you can bring food in from the outside. The Comedy Fort is one of the top spots in Fort Collins to check out! read more

The Comedy Fort - Not a bad seat in the venue! - Comedy Clubs Near Me - Fort Collins, Colorado

FOCO does not really know how fortunate they are to have this first rate comedy venue right smack dab in the middle of Old Town. The people that run this place, from the owner who is a working stand-up comic himself, to the staff, they all really want to bring you a great comedy experience. Of course, some acts will appeal to some folks, and not to others, but the overall mix of consistently professional comedians coming through, the local active comedy scene, and even classes in Stand-up and Impov, makes The Comedy Fort a NOCO treasure. Go. Drink. Laugh. read more

I'm not sure why comedians seem to enjoy hole-in-the-wall places but this is just that. It's not a real theater space. It's a backroom with a stage. If you get there early and are in the first two rows you'll get a cushy, comfortable chair. Otherwise you will be seated in some sturdy, basic, nom-ergonomically sound stacking chairs. So if you have a big booty or long legs, GET THERE EARLY. It's kinda dank... there are kegs just on the floor in the hallway and other boxes to the 'theater'. Kind gives, strange neighbors basement vibes. Their drink ordering process works excellent! You scan a QR code at your seat and they bring them out to you. Service is quick, too. We had two espresso martinis, a peach Bellini, a Bloody Mary, and an old fashioned. Everything was pretty good. I will say they get talent in here!! We drove up from Denver to see Kelsey Cook. She's very funny! Great delivery and timing. Check out her YouTube Special. The openers were great too. read more

Great club, independent comedy club with a soul. They care about comedy and are bringing in people who are funny. The setup of the room and the stage are great, the type of local buisness you want to support which is rare and worth making an effort for in comedy. read more

An exceptional experience in a great location. Talented local opening acts followed by impressive headliners due to the owner's extensive industry ties. A simple, innovative ordering system that sees a wide variety of drinks and snacks delivered instantly to your seat. Oftentimes a sell out show is followed by a meet and greet with the talent in the bar after the curtain. More drinks and autographs and photos. A highlight of our weekend and our visit. Absolutely fantastic! read more

We went to a show for my 22nd birthday - almost late but we were seated just in time to get the last seats available in the front row. This is not like most places where you can select your seats ahead of time, but rather, a first come, first serve experience, and the concierge walks you down the hall into the show room, it's actually so awesome. The atmosphere was dimly, romantically lit, and you could just feel the energy in the room knowing you were about to get a hell of a laugh. There's a bar menu QR code thing at your seat that you can order drinks from on your phone - and quite the extensive menu at that! I'd say for the rest of the experience and their quality the drinks were fairly priced, too. Not overly expensive, a long island was $10.00. The line up we went to featured 5 or 6 awesome, truly funny comedians you could tell had a passion for their craft and had practiced their lines way ahead of time. I recommend this place as a beginner's entryway into the comedy environment if you're just looking for an evening out of town, the show was decent in length, the only thing I can find to comment negatively about would be that they don't serve dinner, just drinks. ;) I should have taken pictures to remember this event as it will sit with me as one of my most cherished memories, the Comedy Fort did not disappoint! read more

What a gem! I am so excited to have the addition of this business in Fort Collins. I purchased my ticket online, which was very easy and was even able to use a discount code since I'm on the mailing list. I arrived about a half hour early in order to get a good seat. They suggest 15 minutes early. They then seat you with your group, so make sure that everyone in your group is with you when you arrive. Once seated, you have the option to order drinks via QR code at your seat. I did have an issue with my phone not picking up the QR code, as did others around me. This would be my only complaint about the whole experience. However, you can simply order from a waitress walking around, or go to the bar directly, so this is not a deal breaker. The seats were comfortable and the visibility was great. I am only 5'2", so sometimes seeing the stage can be a challenge. Here, I was in the second row back from the stage and had no issues with visibility since the stage sits high enough. Also, there are little tables with cup holders next to every chair. This is such a luxury. They clearly put a great deal of thought into how they planned and laid out the seating and tables to maximize space AND comfort. read more

Love this place! Great show, awesome staff! The atmosphere is warm and intimate, great for a couples night out. The old fashioned I had left a little to be desired, but that really didn't take away from the experience. The owner is amazing! I would recommend this venue to anyone who enjoys stand up shows. We will definitely be back! read more

The comedy fort never disappoints! I love how you can order drinks on your phone continuously throughout the night and not worry about disturbing anyone or the show. The burlesque event was amazing! It is being moved from the first Friday of each month to the 4th Saturday of each month. If you haven't made a chance to check out a comedy show or a burlesque show, you're missing out on a great time! BURLESQUE!! read more

A nice place to enjoy an after dinner laugh. They have drinks and snacks (like bags of chips), but don't go hungry like I did the first time! The headliners, local comics haven't disappointed. There are other events held here too like burlesque that I haven't been to, yet heard they're great too. read more

The staff are all very nice and accommodating. The drink menu is marginal. Do not expect any type of appetizer. The menu was chips or a cookie..... The seating was a joke! Something special is happening on College Ave in Fort Collins. The Comedy Fort is a new comedy club, and there's a reason it's not in a strip mall like a chuckle-hucker or laughey bone, the type of place where you are legally obligated to order $20 microwaved chicken tenders. One of the reasons is because of owner, host, and comedy beacon David Rodriguez. I saw David cracking up audiences as a professional comedian at Comedy Works, and he didn't settle on just being award-winningly funny. David consistently gets the best names in Comedy to stop in Fort Collins because he created a reputation for loving comedy, audiences, comedians. And when he opens up the shows, you can immediately tell because doesn't just use the stage for those big names, but he also develops local talent so people in Fort Collins can see their friends or friends of friends work their way up the ranks to become new voices for the city. That's cool. If you believe in "energies," you can feel it in the Comedy Fort. And you can see David's belief in Fort Collins coming through in the form of comedians like Tobias and Louis lending their woodwork skills to build the benches and stools you'll sit in, the bartender's Will and Jeff, who you can tell are happy to work there, and the resident photographer Melissa, who's always in between a picture or a laugh. It's a family vibe that money can't buy. I discovered The Comedy Fort pre-air conditioner, and with all the things I see coming, I know it's the kind of place that in years I'm going to be talking to friends about and starting my sentence like, "The Comedy Fort? Yeah, I was there when it was just getting started. read more

I will never enter this establishment again. We have attended this establishment for 3 years in a row on Friday of Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed the last 2 years. Having said that this year was a totally different story. My daughter and her boyfriend were talking in each others ear during the show and NO paying customer heard them or said anything about their conversation. Having said that, the establishment warned then about their conversation. Our family will never attend your establishment again. read more
