This was the perfect spot for a good-weather date night in Fort Collins. The windows were open, great music was playing and we had a great time. Old Town Putt is within a small gated area with Crooked Stave, an ice creamery, a tacos/tequila spot, and more! You can wander around carrying your drinks within the gated area so you can also do a small dog tour of the area after you play your round at putt putt. (: The putt putt holes themselves were simple but fun. I especially enjoyed the holes when there are multiple routes to take. The only one we disliked was the one in the front right corner where the walls were too short and the ball kept coming off the green! After putt putt you can head to the back room for a couple games of ski ball or hoops before you move on to another destination. We had the frozen drinks at Old Town Putt and they were pretty delicious. I had the Bushwood and I would make the same choice again - whiskey, black tea and citrus slushy? yes please. If you're wondering, I'm the putt-putt victor in this situation. My partner and I popped in for a round of golf on date night. And we had a great time! The property is basically one large room with a bar in the center and the mini golf greens wrapped around the outer walls of the room. (There was a little room I spied in back with arcade games - it was reserved for a private party though. ) You get the balls from the bar, and should definitely order a beer, too! They have a good variety of local beers and other domestic options as well. And don't forget the mixed drinks, too. We grabbed our beer, our balls, and our putters and started at hole #1 - which is unfortunately outside. It's a neat concept in the warmer weather, but it was about 35 degrees that night. We wrapped our way around the room, having to stop and wait occasionally for groups in front of us, and had a fun time. ‍ I voted 4 stars though, because the area is somewhat cramped with the mini greens. If you just wanted to sit and watch - you can - but all the seating is immersed in between the holes. So you're apart of the action regardless of where you sit. And the difficulty level of the holes is about medium for most of the holes - but it's more a 21+ atmosphere. That back arcade room would be great for younger kids who don't have the attention span for mini golf, though. read more

Wow I had high hopes for this spot. But what a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT this was. Was greeted by no one. The bartenders, two bartenders on a Saturday night. Seemed so in the weeds they wouldn't even greet new customers. Don't bother making a reservation, promise you. Better off waiting for someone who's so fed up they just give your their ball.
