Such a fun experience for the whole family! My wife and I died laughing at some other the acts. Sometimes not because it was so much as funny, but just plain goofy and corny. Ha ha ha. The adopted dogs were really cute and entertaining to watch! Such intelligent rescue dogs and you can tell they are treated well, and really enjoy what they do! Prices are a bit high for the runtime of the show and food doesnt come with the ticket price. Visited the Comedy Barn during our family vacation to Pigeon Forge. Good, solid, clean entertainment. Lots of laughs. The staff was great, and the acts were funny. Lots of audience engagement. The thing that really endeared the performance to me was the fact that they are incredibly patriotic and PROUD of our country. They recognized veterans and first responders. They were asked to stand and given a round of applause. We need to see more of this, so I truly appreciated the fact that they included this at the end of the performance. To close the program, they asked the entire audience to stand and join in to sing Lee Greenwood's song "Proud to be an American". It seems like most people either go 1 star or 5 star as far as their reviews go. I think that it probably is somewhat dependent on which show you attend. They change things up here and part of the fun is that it's improv, so you really never know exactly what you are going to get. I think the other thing to keep in mind is that they advertise this as Comedy Fun For The Whole Family. I think that in itself deserves a couple extra stars. So many things today don't cater to all ages it's nice to have this as an option for some good clean entertainment that the kids can go to as well. The performers were all exceptionally friendly and interacted with the audience throughout the show as well as intermission and when they finished for the night. All of the scenes we saw were funny and enjoyable. Plus, huge bonus points, we learned how to juggle (it probably looks a lot better in our heads). Great evening! Highly disappointed on this trip- we've been to the comedy barn 5 times prior to last night. Our girls love this show because of the dogs and getting to dance on stage; my wife and I like it because it's hilarious. However this trip: no dogs. no kids dancing. This was our first trip back to the Comedy Barn since Covid. The show is just not the same and needs some changes. It's not as funny and I'm not one to complain. The show was good and clean, but they are a little TOO covid compliant. Masks required for kids 3 and up which I am vehemently against (kids in masks), take your temp, check your purses/bags (btw they missed my self defense knife. What else did they miss?) They put plexiglass between parties and sat every other row. I think that if the rest of Gatlinburg businesses can leave people's safety up to the citizens, they can too. I mean, this is Tennessee after all. The inconsistencies kill me. On the stage there were two masked people that brought out props for the magicians and actors throughout the show. But by the end of the show they were on the stage next to the rest of the cast with no masks. Virtue signaling? The last audience participation act- they chose 3 men that didn't know each other to sit side by side - no masks. I mean cmon. I'm absolutely on the side of adults deciding for themselves and their own families what measures of protection to take. The beef I have with the comedy barn is their inconsistency and their lack of telling me on the website at what age children will be required to mask. I would never have bought tickets if they told me the ages. We will not be returning or recommending this place because their lack of trust in the public. So if you like that kind of stuff, this is the place for you! read more

From live music to ventriloquist to talented parrots to juggling ping pong balls with your mouth to using the crowd in a story skit... Man - I can't wait to go back! This is more of a "variety" show than a comedy show. There were many musical numbers and acts that involved animals (birds and a dog which were probably the best parts). The comedy was lacking and outdated where it did show up. Families with young children may enjoy it, but teenagers and up in our group were not entertained. read more

I have to say the show was very good. Funny, clean humor, solid acts and good music. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was excellently done. Great show and superb talent for sure. If you're visiting town I do recommend checking out the Comedy Barn with the fam. Solid entertainment. You might consider parking in the Islands yooge parking lot and walking to the Comedy Barn. Make an evening of it. Even with expert traffic direction, getting in and out of the poorly planned Comedy Barn lot is more painful than it needs to be IMHO. My only complaint - and it's a small but important one, the restrooms are clean but small. Although the men's moved fairly quickly it was still a decent wait. The ladies was very very slow. Dunno the particulars inside but a few more stalls in each would probably be a solid move. The intermission gives you time to get out and back thankfully. read more

Loved all the comedy routines they did. It's all clean comedy with a bit of Christian appreciation thrown in (though not the focus of the comedy or show in any way). They had a wide variety of shows from tap dancing to singing, from people puppets to real puppets, from child volunteers to adult volunteers. All of it was a blast. The puppies were my second favorite though of course my favorite thing was when I got to go up on stage and act! I hoped it would happen but I definitely helped by standing up and waving my arms when he called for volunteers. He asked for people with good senses of humor because the idea is to give misleading directions and then always be disappointed in their performance as part of the joke. Those who get frustrated easily or can't take a joke definitely should not volunteer. read more

Loved the show at the Comedy Barn. It was hilarious for everyone in our age group ranging from 7 to 60. My 7 year old son Cole, kept expressing how he wanted to go there each time we past their billboards (Effective marketing...) At first, we were a bit skeptical since all the comedy shows we had ever been to were in adult humor. (swearing galor..) We called and spoke with their office and they let us know it was gonna be "good clean family fun". Although I knew I had to keep an open mind, inside I was thinking that meant "booooriiing". I was glad to find out I was wrong. The variety shows were excellent and we were laughing the whole time. Both of our children loved it! There were animals, juggling, puppets, impressions , singing, and dancing. During intermission Cole was so excited to get a Comedy Barn T shirt...we went with barn red. They said this shirt had a lifetime guarantee for size and quality.. bring it back and get a new one... I plan to test that policy out.. The theatre had plenty of parking as well it's next door to "The Island" shopping center. If you were already there shopping, just walk over. Our tickets was $16 a person with a package deal with other shows.. They had a concession stand with popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy. We had eaten at Paul Deen's (walking distance) right before so we were not hungry. As another review mentioned traffic is ferocious, but if you grab a visitors map and take the back roads parallel to the main road we faced little to no traffic (Vets Hwy). read more

Absolutely fabulous!!!! Didn't realize this was a variety show. I was totally expecting a stand up comedy act. This was a zillion times better than that! The ping pong guy was definitely my favorite. Very original!!!!!!!!! I could have watched him for hours!! The comedian was great too and loved how he incorporated the audience. The price for these tickets was such a deal at $9.99 since we'd already bought a couple dinner shows and these came as an add on. The show is split into a first and second phase show. The acts keep coming with a variety of characters. Musicians and dancers work throughout the show between individual acts. Absolutely loved this show! We took a family of 5 ranging from adults to kids aged 12 and we all enjoyed it. There is not a bad seat in the auditorium. A variety of acts and little hokey (but that was too be expected) at some of the tributes but if you understand that going in you will enjoy the show. My advice would be to not heckle the juggler. Watching him eviscerate two audience members was the funniest part. A great show and some of the best money spent while in the area. After years of coming here and not doing it, I am kicking myself for waiting so long. This is worth every penny. read more

If you want something fun to do in the smokies this is the place to go. We have been two times. And we loved the Christmas one. There both great but something about the Christmas one. The whole family loved it! The boys' favorite was "Skeet"...ping pong ball guy bc he was funny! We hadn't eaten dinner beforehand bc the Old Mill area was a 1.5 hour wait. So, we got a hotdog, pretzel, nachos (stale even in a plastic bag), pizza slices, popcorn, icees in souvenir cups, some mountain dew (K & I should have shared one bc it was so large).
