Honestly, I couldn't really put into words how I felt about this and then I read Nicole S. from…read moreIndiana's review and she nailed it. So, at the risk of being repetitive I will tl;dr it for you: you have to decide to go all-in on this experience. We did just that on our rowdy Friday night recently. When in Pigeon Forge--honestly, one of the weirder places in the known universe--you absolutely go all-in and check out a thing called Dolly Parton's stampede. You buy your tickets, you whoop, you holler, you go hands-on into the food. You just go for it. If you do not go for it, it will be one of the weirder things you do. I really liked the food, actually. They served you a cream soup, biscuit, and a whole dang chicken (though it's a little one) alongside pulled pork and some mashed potatoes sans gravy. The show is what really requires the all-in because what did I just watch? The riders are incredibly skilled and the emcee had a great voice (we needed more singing, please, this is a Dolly branded show) but there were some awkward moments like the weird attempts at comedy by the Skeeter character and then the butterfly number which just... didn't land. It's a challenge to eat a hands-on meal while also trying to pay attention to a show, but do your best. But my only real complaint on the whole night really was the service. Those poor servers are actively trying to take away from the experience. It feels like they are being timed and if they don't throw your food down fast enough and in the most unhelpful way possible then they get whipped by a cowboy backstage later. Go. And go all-in. When in Pigeon Forge, be the most Pigeon Forge you can be. And this is the MOST Pigeon Forge Experience we had.

It was incredibly creamy and flavorful, and the biscuit was flaky, buttery, and delicious. Dipping that biscuit into the soup? Absolutely elite. I could've happily eaten a whole bowl of that and called it a day. The chicken was extremely well seasoned and honestly just perfect. The smashed potatoes were pretty good too. We also got the pulled pork, which was delicious, but by the time it made its grand entrance, I was already stuffed. They bring each item out one at a time, so by the time the pulled pork and corn arrived, I had completely forgotten I was supposed to be eating more food. I barely touched the corn because my stomach had officially clocked out. And then there was dessert. Yes, somehow there was STILL dessert. I had to force myself to make room for at least a little because apparently the meal had no intention of ending. I chose the apple pie, while my boyfriend got the chocolate coconut one. I tried his, obviously, and both were equally delicious. At that point, I was eating purely out of obligation and determination. The show itself was so entertaining! There was plenty of action, humor, and some healthy, fun competition. I especially loved how much crowd interaction there was because it made the whole experience feel much more immersive and fun. Overall, the food was delicious, the show was entertaining, and I left completely stuffed. But honestly, I'm STILL thinking about that vegetable soup. Kudos to the chef because that soup really stole the show for me.

My only reason it's not 5 stars is that the time on your ticket is not the recommendation of the time you arrive, I.e. you might think to arrive 15/20 minutes before but an hour is definitely more beneficial. I believe it is communicated, but I noticed some people arriving late so hopefully this saves someone missing out! Lots of fun and have recommended it to many people so far.

They really need to have some sort of indoor waiting area so that is older people don't have to bake in the sun for an hour before we get in to wait again in the lobby before actually sitting down for the show. The food: The vegetable soup was the consistency of Cambells cream of chicken with chinks of veggies. Not bad at all. The drinks are Coke products and Sweat tea, I had the sweat tea and it was the bomb. The dinner rolls were warm and fluffy. The fried chicken was juicy and flavorful with the perfect amount of nt of seasoning. The mashed potatoes are fresh but would have been awesome with a side of gravy or butter. Pork BBQ was a nice change, not to saucy and had a taste of smokiness to it. The corn on the cob was flavorless and overcooked. I loved the cole slaw and the sweat tea the most. The show: The production was a new storyline that was Halloween based and was a great show. The production was lighthearted and family friendly with water, smoke, and even some fireworks. Nice show

The show we went to see was The Prodigal: A Story of Hope & Redemption. For dinner, they have an all-you-can-eat buffet that rotates depending on the show. A unique thing about the theater is that the cast of the show serves your food from the buffet. The buffet had BBQ pulled pork, beef pot roast with gravy, crispy fried chicken tenders, baked mac & cheese, baked potatoes, Bush's baked beans, corn on the cob, peas & carrots, and dinner rolls. Apple and cherry glazed turnovers were available for dessert. I thought the food was fair, but too salty for my taste. The handicapped access was great. The accessible tables were right in front of the stage. When booking the show, you need to special request to be seated there. They even carried my plate to my seat. After I was finished with my meal, I was free to move to any empty seat to get a better view of the show. Overall, I would highly recommend checking out Biblical Times Dinner Theater. The show was amazing, and the cast did a great job! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The next time I visit, I will definitely do a video review.

Price is way too high for what you're getting (more later). Can justify the $55ish you pay. 2. Food is traditional southern food. Sits heavy and fatty. Baked potatoes, sad-looking fried chicken tenders, pot roast, pulled pork, broccoli, corn, mac 'n cheese, wild rice, turnovers for dessert. Honestly not great but it is all you can eat. 3. The worship show was nice! About 45min while you eat. The main guy is a pastor at a new church out of Pigeon Forge high school and that is pushed on you a lot during the service. Musicians were definitely talented. 4. Show was meh at best. Went to see the Prodigal Son, a great story. Acting was not the best and most of the visuals were holograms. 5. Seats were old and a bit lumpy and not comfortable. 6. Theater itself was dirty. Napkins and straw wrappers on the ground, etc. 7. Waitress comes around with drinks (water, sweet/unsweet tea, lemonade). Not much to do pre-show either. The Southern Gospel Music exhibit right in the main lobby is interesting for 5-10min and there are random souvenirs around. Cafe for coffee, sodas was closed (July 3rd). Great idea but a bit misfired.

My review is for their breakfast meal. Advertised on their marquee was the buy one get one deal,…read moreso we thought we'd check it out...sounded like a good deal, right? First thing we noticed right away was there seemed to be no clear way to go and no one to direct us. When you walk in you are in a store with loads of jewelry and tacky souvenirs. The dinner theater was in back. We made our way to the back looking for someone to direct us. We were finally led to a spot in the back row, which was their handicap seating, which we needed for my father. After you get your seat, you go back into the buffet line...again very unclear. There was one guy who was standing near the kitchen door barking out food directions. When my sister questioned him on something, he responded back quite rudely, "haven't you been listening?" Menu consisted of your basic breakfast items, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, etc. There was a omelette station where you tell the cook what you want in it, and they cook it while you wait. Fresh toasted bread at this station also. The food from the Buffett was lukewarm and tasted old. Omelette were ok, toast was excellent. Says a lot when the best item on a breakfast buffet was the toast! Drinks were $2.00. In the fine print it said they expect you to tip your server $2.00 per person in your party. You pay at the counter in the store in the front. Entertainment was sadly lacking. There was Davy Crocket, Dorothy Gale (wizard of Oz) and a southern belle walking in the audience and chatting with you while you try to eat. Also had a representative from a Cruise Line trying to enter patrons in a drawing to win a free cruise. This did not count as entertainment in my book! They rate one star for the toast.

I started weeks before trying to call and leaving messages. Never got hold of anyone or return call. Walking in it is drab and showing its years. Clean but dingy. I had been here about 20 yrs before and the place would be packed. 3 days before the performance I was able to get front row center seats for the 2 of us. That should have told me something. That and the fact when the show started, only the first 2 rows had anyone in them. The Elvis music came on, I was excited, and out walked a short dumpy male with a cheap toupee and glued on sideburns with black eyebrow liner. Non looked professional. He didn't sound like Elvis and couldn't move like Elvis. I'm a nurse and once thought he was going into a seizure, I was concerned! He went down on one knee in front of us and almost fell off the stage! Near the end he started talking about the blues brothers coming back and told us we had been watching one of them. He continued to brag about being one of the blues brothers, my granddaughter yelled out that it explains it, we knew we weren't watching Elvis. We wasted over $90 for this show! He went on talking about how tired he was and couldn't do as well because he spent the day touring a college campus and how much they had walked that day. And how he wasn't the normal Elvis!! He sang what he said was one of his favorite songs. I expected an Elvis song but he started talking about Olivia Newton John and sang one of her songs!! Run, don't walk, far away from this show!!

The show begins promptly at 5:30 PM, but entry isn't allowed until exactly 5:00 PM. Trust me they're strict about it. I arrived at 4:50 and found the doors locked. A gentleman greeted me at the door and kindly explained he still had a few final preparations to handle. Even with a restroom request, they held firm on the timing. True to his word, the doors opened at 5:00 PM sharp. As you walk in, you're welcomed by a staff member who checks your name and guides you to your seat. What's quirky and fun is that the same man who takes your ticket also performs the entire one-man show! The stage sits just six feet from the front row, creating a cozy and personal atmosphere. The space is very clean, and soft background music plays while you wait. The restroom is located at the back, which means you'll have to walk across in front of the audience if nature calls mid-performance. It's spotless and includes a single handicap-accessible bar next to the toilet. Best to go beforehand. There's a small counter that offers snacks and drinks, though in my opinion, the prices didn't match the portions. A little steep for what you get. This show is best suited for younger children rather than adults. That's why I gave it a higher rating, viewed through the right lens, it's charming and lighthearted. However, if it were intended for a broader adult audience, I'd probably rate it lower. One notable drawback was the unlocked front door during the performance. While we were mid-show, two people wandered in asking about future tickets, and the performer actually paused the show to answer them. I get the hustle, but it broke the flow and felt disruptive. You're welcome to film the performance, which is unusual and at the end of the show, comes a QR code encouraging guests to leave a positive review. A little unconventional, but memorable.
