Brilliant place - food and service are excellent. Recommend the fry and the scampi. Also enjoyed the curry sauce with the chips.

Unfortunately they also bring along those same level of prices, and for an address on the Andytown road, that can be hard to swallow. I expect to pay £2.50 for a latte. That's a given, but 90p for a fruit shoot for my son? And a 60p add on for some marshmallows on my wife's hot chocolate? Come on guys. The staff are warm and welcoming and while it's clear that it's still early days for them, they seem to be coping well with the footfall that comes with being the new spot on the block. Lastly, and thankful, the coffee is great! Finally somewhere nearby to get quality take out close to home!!

Wen they first brought me my sandwich there was mayo on it and I didn't ask for mayo so they brought me a new one and the chicken was absolutely vile. It was warm and tasteless, like frozen chicken that had been defrosted in the microwave. I felt sick just thinking about this sandwich. The hot chocolate on the other hand was amazing! The staff were very helpful and kind, usually the way with a family run business. Although I would advise the owners to stick to hot drinks and cake and steer away from food because I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I did with the sandwich.

She wasn't far wrong! Adelaide's is perfectly placed on the Lisburn road amongst the hustle and bustle of its upmarket shopper and poor students looking for the best deal! The fist thing that hinted to me that I was going to like this place was the pink and black decor! Very cool! The cafe is really inviting, modern, cool and friendly! We decided to just skip ahead to the reason we came and had tea to go with them! Yummy! The menu is pretty good here, offering sandwiches, salads and lots of cakes! It's certainly somewhere I'll be coming to again! Just for the chocolate!

Imagine my surprise when I entered to hear smooth jazz being played. The decor inside is wonderful, with a stylish display of all the produce on offer; you will be amazed at the quality of the food compared to its price. It is definitely worth a shout if you are ever close around lunch time. I came in here for breakfast a few times too. They are quick and efficient and their croissant is probably the best I have ever tasted outside France. Keep an eye out for their home made Oreo's too, they're massive!

I've seen the sign out on the main road (which would be easy to miss) every day as it's on my commute to work and yet I've never been in. So this worked out well. What a great hidden gem, loved this place. If you're looking for it, it is opposite the attendant-less Maxol garage, down the side of the used car place. The décor has all the hallmarks of a trendy contemporary coffee shop/deli, nothing too original, but to their credit they have distilled the design to the best elements of it and then executed the layout very well, so it's a nice place to be. The staff were great too which I love as there is little to endear a place to me more quickly than nice people working there who are nice, not through customer training but because they are just good folks!! The food when was great, a wide range of mouth-watering choices are clearly displayed across the huge menu..... which is the entire back wall of the place. It has been painted in blackboard paint and the menu chalked up in big clear writing. The prices although on the higher end of average aren't extortionate by any means so I wouldn't call it cheap eats but you get top quality food and service for just north of average price. The coffee was great, which is an essential element for me and the last thing I ate was a scone..... as we were there so early, it was freshly backed and still warm from the oven......................... so so good!

We got there first and we really only had a double espresso and croissant each. Both were very good indeed. Our companions arrived and ordered coffees too. They surprised us as we went to pay - they picked up the tab, decent of them so I can't report the cost. It's quite a large place once inside, and as we walked in at a front counter we were right next to a display of their rather expensive pastries and they looked delicious. The seats were comfy and the staff were a friendly bunch and they were super efficient. This place is on Belfast's Lisburn road, and although we had arrived just before 11am on a Monday morning we found on street pay car parking space very challenging to find indeed. I keep reminding myself that we are supposed to be in austerity yet the coffee bars are full and on street parking is at an expensive premium - seems austerity is only for the poorest and hammering down on our public services like the NHS, education and on and on. Think I'd rather pay fair taxation. It's become a much crazier world. As I write I hear Mr Trump on the radio claim he hasn't a racist bone in his body. I never thought I'd agree with him; he hasn't. The racism is evidently in his brain alone.

So I got a pre-packed sandwich instead which they heated on site. Still tasted great but I will have to go to botanic if I want to make up my own salad or sandwich for takeaway. Decided to try here and sit in this time (for lunch). Decor is lovely and the restaurant is more spacious than the other store. They have a small menu but also offer daily specials and separate vegetarian menu. One of the specials offered was a rare beef sourdough sandwich served with fries and hot sauce. Although the sandwich was tasty and a lite messy due to the coleslaw and rocket the beef was not rare. There was also quite a bit of fat around the edges of the beef. Opted for a watercess, feta, beetroot and quinoa Salad as a side order. For 3.50 this salad was huge but a bit salty. Unfortunately didn't have room for dessert but took a look at all the lovely treats on offer for future reference. Great to see they are licensed as well, I will be back to try out the dinner menu along with some cocktails.

It's a nicely done place, with big shopfront windows, and that rustic, bare-brick effect inside. Their sit-in menu is, as you'd imagine, a bit more extensive than their delivery menu, to include sandwiches and a few other hot meals. The good thing with the Kelstar is that the always see the potential when they get somewhere that has a bit more space, and do pizzas, baguettes, etc Aside from the fact that I'm suspicious of places that charge you for relish, it's a nice spot with decent service in a relaxed atmosphere.
