The acai bowls offered at this location are a mouth-watering experience for the palate. During the spring/summer months, they offer limited-time only teas with tropical flairs (Island Coconut is my favorite but they also offer a New Zealand Berry and a Mango blend). Additionally, they're open to personalized suggestions for drinks. I appreciate a place that offers alternatives to cow's milk (almond, rice, and I think coconut milks are all offered) but isn't limited to the carcinogenic soy. The owners are wonderful people who are incredibly supportive of the community. Right now, they have one-of-a-kind gift items available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting Team Parker for Life. They've also opened up their location for craft/gift fairs. It's not unusual to see teens/college students in Bible study or academic study groups, knitting groups, Santee Chamber meetings, business groups meetings, and even the occasional music performance. If you want a lovely place to have a great cup of coffee or tea this is the place! This location opens a little later in the morning, but is also open later in the day. Family owned with a cozy homie feel cafe . Plenty of seating and very convenient with plenty of parking . I tried the ice white mocha , it was simply the best drink I've ever had ! People were extremely nice and everybody was so relaxed and comfortable . This spot was highly recommended by friends and family and I will continue to recommend to friends as well . I always have issues with a coffee place that does not openly show Thier roaster. Now having had a cup of coffee here I understand why. The bold roast on tap was improperly roasted. I love the "Highland Grog" flavored beans, I believe it's called Biker's Blend or something else now. Can't find it anywhere else. It's whiskey/vanilla, which sounds awful but it really isn't. Reasonably priced, clean facility, clean bathroom, free wi-fi. Every year at the Thanksgiving 5K hosted by the church next door, they set up a booth and give us free coffee. Bonus. Fresh not frozen fruit, yummy açaí, crunchy granola, and juuust enough peanut butter to açaí ratio. They also have cheap add on's like flax or chia seeds. The absolute best iced coffee. I usually hate cold brew but I could drink coffee corners all day. I usually get a cold brew with vanillla and cream and it's just so much better than any vanilla latte or expensive drink I could get anywhere else. They use coffee ice cubes which is a really nice touch because as they melt, you have more iced coffee without watering it down. This is the coffee place in San Diego! All of the employees are so kind. They have wifi and very comfortable couches. I have been there so many times to study and do hw. The coffee is delicious. It is cheap. THEY HAVE THE BEST ACAI BOWLS IN THE WORLD. Trust me, after I had their acai bowl for the first time, I said to myself, "Wow this is pretty good. I want to try other places." So I did.
