I would not recommend TCA. My appointment was set for 8:30am and at 8:45 I sent a message asking where they were, if they had trouble finding my address, etc. The response was that they had decided to do my clean AFTER another clean, because mine sounded like a bigger job (my total Sq Ft to be cleaned was 869 sq ft). They then told me to expect them at 11:00am At 11:30 I sent another message asking if they had gotten lost or if my apt had been rescheduled without my knowledge AGAIN? They responded that the team would be here shortly. Once in the house, it was quickly established that neither cleaner spoke English, which is the language I use, here in the USA to communicate with workers. They had a translator app, that they wanted me to speak into and it would translate my words to their language...only I don't think their app was doing a very good job with the communication, because I specifically told them to stay OUT of the office where I had my two dogs locked away for the cleaners safety. They disregarded my instruction and OPENED the door and then acted shocked and terrified that there were loud aggressive dogs in there. I again told them to STAY OUT and kept shaking my head no at the door. Since they were so late getting to my clean, I had to leave for another appointment outside the home. I sent a message, asking what I should do and was told that they would be able to lock the door on their way out and that I didn't need to be there. I returned home at 9:30pm to find my screen door stuck in the open position and my front door open about 2". I immediately sent a message that I was PISSED about my home being left open all day and got the response that they didn't know how to lock the door and couldn't figure out how to get the screen door unlocked from the open position. It looked like they had tried to force the screen closed, because at the bottom of the door frame, it is all splintered and the screws are kind of out of the wood a little bit. This was the last straw because I had told BOTH workers on their translator app to PLEASE LOCK THE DOOR WHEN YOU LEAVE and I brought them over to the door and showed them how to turn the mechanism to lock the door on their way out. I tried the door when I got home and it worked fine. They just decided not to lock it. As for the door being left open, I was told that they shut it on their way out, which would only mean that SOMEONE came into my house, when I was not there, and left it open when they left. These people just had the nerve to send me an invoice for an additional $250 over and above the deposit I paid and after I tipped the cleaners both $40 when I left...with the assumption that they would do what I asked. I'll pay this invoice, but I will NEVER use this service again and I suggest anyone reading this MOVE ON...find someone else. The clean that was performed was done well, I don't dispute that at all, just the way my personal time was dismissed and my home was treated so unprofessionally and uncaringly, is just unacceptable. read more

I have had them come for 6 months and I think over that time they have cleaned for 5 min total. Horrible.

Called them to have an estimate done, waited 30 min past the time they were supposed to be here and when I called them, they said they had tried contacting me via text message to confirm the appt but couldn't get in touch with me because I had them blocked... I don't have them blocked and had just spoken to them two days prior and confirmed my appt, this was the second time I had tried to have them come for an estimate. Very unreliable and everyone should go with a better company read more

My husband gave me a gift two years ago of having a cleaning service help me with housework. I researched several companies and decided to try The Cleaning Authority. I have been very happy with the service I have received. All the cleaners are cheerful and polite. They do great work and my home looks great when they are done. I have them coming every two weeks. The only difficulty I have experienced with The Cleaning Authority is due to COVID and having a few of my cleans canceled because of illness. Although I didn't reschedule those particular cleanings I was given the opportunity to reschedule. The Cleaning Authority has been a one-time gift that keeps on giving! read more

This was our 2nd clean and they did a great job, there were 4 girls today Dom, Amber, ruth, and shaelyn. They do a great job and are always professional when in our home. This company failed in every way. First the owner came to do her walk through and was rude. I am a nurse and she came the day after I had just done 4 twelve hour shifts in a row. House was messy, but not ridiculously so. We had a cleaning service that had just gone out of business, so it had only been a few weeks since they cleaned and I was able to finish tidying in a few hours. She was obviously annoyed that my house was not pristine. I was desperate and signed up anyway. When the girls came to clean the house was very tidy, surfaces all cleared (as instructed, all surfaces must be cleared). I was also incredibly stressed. I felt like I had to have my house perfect before they even came. When they got there I was not impressed. I felt I needed to tell them a few things about our house and one girl said, "we know all of this, we're just going to start." and walked away. I can't have two minutes before letting you loose on my house? The first time we meet? Including how to lock up? Anyway, I said I needed the kitchen for ten minutes to finish breakfast and then we'd be gone. They said fine, but three minutes later one girl was dusting the tops of my cabinets - OVER MY FOOD! So gross. They were also impatient with my son. We were there for ten minutes and they had him change rooms three times. When we got back it barely looked like they had come. My bathroom floor hadn't been mopped, showers were only partially cleaned and no cabinets had been wiped. What is especially terrible about that is this cleaning was $180 for just the top two floors of my home. So they could do an "intensive first cleaning" focusing on the bathrooms and kitchen. My home security cameras show they were there for an hour and thirty five minutes. That is very little time for an "intensive" first cleaning. I emailed the owner of my concerns and she dismissed my concerns and said, "the staff said they were very patient with you and when you don't clean your home it can take a while to get it clean." again, we had gone three weeks without a cleaning. But that is enough in my book to say good riddance. Rude, judgemental, and terrible cleaners. Hopefully they can make improvements. read more
