I was gifted a 10 hour gift certificate to split into 2 cleanings - one deep clean before my baby…read morearrived, and 1 after.
It was really easy to schedule my cleaning and Mitchell was so kind and personable on the phone.
First cleaning, they didn't arrive on time. I called to see where they were, and was told they didn't have my appointment written down, but the office was great and said they would be out at 11:30 the same day. They showed up at 11:45 and although the crew was really nice, they didn't do a good job at all. 2 of the girls spent time playing with my cat. I put the cat outside to stop the distraction, and one of the girls asked me if I would let my cat back in so she could play with her. I told her no. So, she asked if she could go outside and play with her....I felt strange and said she could go quickly and say hi to her and come back in. She and another worker went in and out a few more times to play with my cat.
I was booked for 6 man hours- and with 45 minutes to spare one of the cleaners came to find me and said they were finished and leaving. I let her know time was no where near up, as I still have 1 hour of service - they were 15 minutes late and leaving 45 minutes early. She said everything was done and they had cleaned up and everyone was in the car waiting for her. I let her know that wasn't okay and they needed to come back in. It took about 10 minutes for them to call the manager to see if they could clean more (they weren't told it was a deep clean) and to get the supplies back in the home. I had to ask 3 times to get a small shelf dusted - first two requests was met with, "I wasn't in charge of cleaning this room, I will tell the one who cleaned it." In my kitchen, they didn't clean under the coffee machine or toaster. Just cleaned in front of everything. Shelves remained untouched in every room. They skipped walls, floor boards, cobwebs, handrail, and light fixtures. My floors were tacky and didn't' feel clean after they left. (2 people who visited later that day asked what I had used on my floor since it was so tacky)
Second cleaning: I called to book my remaining 4 hours and was told that I only had 2 hours remaining because they were at my home longer than expected at first visit. I let the manager know they were late to arrive, and wasted a bunch of time getting in and out of the car, playing with my cat, etc. Nope! After speaking with the manager, he "comped" me 1 hour, resulting in 1 hour lost from the certificate.
The company sent 4 cleaners, which for 3 hours of cleaning= a 45 minute visit. First off, they clock in when they park, and it took 3 minutes to come to the door - that is 12 minutes of cleaning time gone. I didn't hear the doorbell, and came 3 minutes later....that's 24 minutes of cleaning lost just to start. 30 minutes in, one of the cleaners said they were finished. I let her know we have 15 more minutes and there was more to do. They decided to dust the rooms missed. With 7 minutes to go, (28 minutes of cleaning) she said they were finished and leaving. I let her know with 4 people working, that is a lot of time. That is when she said they clock in upon parking, and they really only had 3 minutes left...what can 4 people do in 3 minutes? Nothing, so they left....leaving me with an added 12 minutes of paid time gone unanswered....What a terrible policy. They gathered the cleaning stuff and left, not offering a walk through, which they did after their first visit.
On a positive note: The second clean was done much better than the first, although upon inspection after they left, I found several things missed. Bookshelves in 2 rooms, and the shelves in my bathroom were obviously left completely untouched. They also didn't vacuum, since I was told I would need to take something off the list, as I was losing an hour of cleaning time. I had said to remove the floors, since they were tacky after they mopped last time....I didn't realize that meant they wouldn't vacuum...that should totally be standard with a clean. My kids had just eaten in the dining room and had left crumbs on the floor.
At least they cleaned under the toaster this time :) Wish they hadn't missed all of the shelves, which they missed both visits.
I was so very excited when I received this certificate and likely would have continued to use them if it had been a good experience.
In summary, if you use this company you pay for a lot of time you don't actually receive, and staff lack attention to detail.
