They were terrible. Longmont co. The manager was polite but the workers were rude and made up stuff about my apartment. They sat here and made faces and looked crossed eyed at each other. They were asked to leave when all I wanted was the appliances cleaned. I am still angry at the stories they made up. I hope that karma catches up with them. read more

We have used this Cleaning Authority for 12 years. They abruptly terminated our service without even a phone contact. All because we let them know that a couple things had been damaged and that two of the newer cleaners had forgotten a couple of tasks for the second time that were to be completed on that date. Customer contact and service is quite lacking. Whenever I let them know of things needing to be addressed it was met on the defensive. We continued with them for 12 years because the lead cleaner was the constant in their service as others helping came and went, usually after being trained. This is a poorly run franchise. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! read more

I've used Cleaning Authority for 3+ years. Very happy with my team. Vicky is the team leader...she's very nice, and does a an excellent job!!! They're prices are reasonable! I highly recommend this company!! I nominate Vicky? (I don't know last name) for Employee of the month for April 2018. Vera is awesome too! read more

I used this service for a little over a year. I recently discontinued because their team members repeatedly broke/damaged items in my home, with no offers for compensation. Each time, their response was "Sorry. Accidents happen." (To be clear, this response came from the management, not the cleaners themselves, who were apologetic and DID offer to pay me for the damage. But I assumed the company carried insurance for this type of thing so that the cleaners wouldn't have to dig into their own pockets.) It also seemed to me that the breakage occurred because the management company seems to prioritize speed over caution. In addition, the cleaning job looked the same from week to week, without "special attention" to whatever the area of focus was supposed to be that time. And whenever I requested that a particular area be redone (before the cleaners left the house), they used glass cleaner every time, regardless of the surface. (I wasn't watching the rest of the time, but suspect this is their go-to cleaner for everything.) I'm disappointed because a friend who uses a different franchise of this company is very happy, and the concept is great if they would only apply (and do so with caution for the items in their clients' homes). When I emailed the owner to let her know why I was firing them, I got zero response. On the plus side, they were very dependable in terms of showing up when they say they would, and being flexible if clients need to reschedule. read more

Been using these guys for years. They are efficient, do a good job at a fair price and put up with the cats, who like to pounce on the feather dusters. I also like using a place that is licensed and bonded, since they have a key to my place. Only complaint is that they show up at somewhat unpredictable times on the assigned cleaning day. I try to clear out of the house to get of their way (I work from home). Once they showed up a lot earlier than expected. They knock before entering, but since I was in the shower and was singing at the top of my lungs, I didn't hear them. AWKWARD! They have my recommendation! read more

We signed up for regular cleanings with the Cleaning Authority but after the second one we fired them. The cleaning crew did a great job cleaning the first time. They were meticulous and thorough. There were two problems but we stuck with them because we understand that things can happen, especially the first time. They knocked a clock off the wall and it broke. The person who did it told me right away and she also told the company. However, no one from Cleaning Authority contacted me about it so I had to call them. They deducted the cost of a new clock off our next cleaning, for which I was grateful. The other glitch was more serious but equally accidental. We had two water sensors on the floor behind one toilet. They both got knocked over during the cleaning so they did not function when our sewer line started backing up the next day. The whole bathroom floor flooded. Terrible timing for the sensors to get knocked over but we cleaned it all up and stuck with the company. The second cleaning didn't go well at all and that did it for me. Two people came for one hour to clean 1200 square feet of house. They rushed through, doing a half-ass job. They also broke a sculpture but hid the evidence. I found it two weeks later, informed the company, but got no response. The sculpture cannot be fixed and is irreplaceable. I would not use Cleaning Authority again nor would I recommend them. They are quite expensive and the value just isn't there. read more

We have been using The Cleaning Authority for years and they are great! Katie is good with scheduling and has always been very accommodating. Vero is my team leader over the last few years and she does a wonderful job! read more

We have used this service multiple times and each time they failed to mop our kitchen, left the counters dirty, and left multiple spots dirty on the floor. We called each time it happened and it never got any better the following time. Don't waste your money. read more

I would NEVER USE this company again. They are the worst cleaning service I have ever encountered. Please stay away from this dishonest company. If I could rate them a negative star I would. Trust your home or business cleaning to a reputable cleaning service and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! read more

Wish I could choose negative stars! This company is a JOKE. They have this wonderful brochure stating all the areas they clean...and then don't clean even the most basic of things - Do you like your shower pans cleaned? Well, they skipped mine both times ! Didn't mop bathrooms, wipe window sills - they think running a rag over a surface is cleaning it - even after having to come do a re-do - they still left stuff undone! The 2nd time there were here, some fool used the wrong cleaner on our glass doors and they were a total fog..and they left that! And their Quality Control person is just as bad!!! They also just "leave" and don't say anything ... we didn't even get to give them their check - we had it - but we didn't even know they were leaving. After 2nd clean - I left the owner a message - after 5 DAYS of trying to talk to her, we finally connected - she was very defensive, making me feel like I was problem...when she found out we didn't even get a chance to pay the crew - she asked me for a credit card! What fool is giving out a credit card for a job half a***d ??? The owner told me she would reduce the amount, but that she expected to be paid. I agreed and would never not pay what is due to someone. They also messed up my cleaning schedule, and we had a month between our cleans! The last time they were here was 3/30/17. Yesterday, I got a bill, saying it was for 4/4/17 (they were never in my house on 4/4!), and for the full amount - this is the most poorly organized company - they will reel you in and then suck! DON'T SIGN A CONTRACT! Thankfully, we didn't! We have found a wonderful lady that cleans our home for $50 less, and 100% better!!!! read more

Me and girlfriend had three cleaning ladies over. We have had issues with the two I'm discussing now in the past and have requested three times they not come anymore. Obviously that request went unnoticed. I noticed it was them and a new one. Everything was fine until I came up from downstairs and one of the maids, I believe her name was Aaron or Ellen, was gossiping about the maid that was cleaning the bathrooms with the other maid there, I believe her name was Stephany or Bethany. The girl that was cleaning the bathrooms was the only one I noticed doing anything the whole time they were there and she was friendly and professional (I wouldn't mind her being a permanent cleaner for us). They were using profound language and slamming my girlfriends things around with the bit they were pretending to clean in our bedroom. Other than that they were just standing around talking. . I proceeded to my mothers room and when they thought I was out of ear shot they started making comments about how gross my mothers house was and how it was "bullshit they had to clean houses like this, and they don't get paid enough and their boss lady was a bitch". Very unprofessional. The parts the little brunette girl cleaning the bathrooms did was clean. The rest was no cleaner than when they arrived. My girlfriend has Ocd and the house is clean before they even come to clean it. Also, my girlfriend deals with this business, not me, and was too nice to say anything because she felt bad but I refused to let this go unnoticed. Needless to say, I am finding us a different cleaning company if these two return to our house. I have also noticed change and random bills I leave in my room go missing when these two come. But I do want to acknowledge the fact this was not all three. The one bathroom girl did exceptional. I don't want to go through the trouble of finding a new company unless I have to, so I will give one more chance. But I would NOT recommend this company. read more

6 months ago I signed a one year contract based on promises made by Katie that there would be regular inspections, once the "deep clean" was completed, extras would be cleaned, ie...kitchen cabinets wiped down, more detailed cleaning on woodwork and doors, etc. well, it's been six months and none of that has happened. I even brought it to her attention a few weeks ago, and still nothing. Last Friday I received my courtesy call that the cleaning crew would be at my house in the afternoon, verses mornings, which was negotiated at the beginning of my contract. I called back and left a message asking if afternoons were going to be my new norm so I could rearrange my schedule, as I take morning classes, and changed my schedule Monday morning to afternoon classes. I received a voice mail at 9:00 am that the crew would would be at my house by 10:00 am! I called back and tried to explain to Nichole my situation...she continually interrupted me while I was talking, accused my of yelling at her, said she wasn't going to do this with me and cancelled my cleaning! This is the worst customer service ever! Their word means nothing and the cleaning is mediocre, at best. Unfortunately, I signed a one year contract, so I am at their mercy...buyer beware...if you complain, you may get your cleaning cancelled! I don't know if they will call me back and reschedule, or if I will keep paying for a service I'm not getting??? read more

The first time this company came to do a "deep clean," they were 2 hours late. There were 4 employees and they were there 2 hours. They broke 2 figurines and knocked a shelf off of the wall in bathroom. It was written in the contract that they were to dust out all window sills, etc. Only half of the window sills were done. There were dead bugs in the others. The dining room was not dusted at all. There was a sticky puddle of something in front of the TV amoire in living room which was not cleaned up. After they were there 2 hours I overheard one of the employees state "we have to leave because we have to close up the store." Another employee states "but we aren't done." The first employee states "it doesn't matter we have to go." So they left. I was not offered a chance to have them come back and finish, etc. I called the company in Loveland that day to complain. I had paid $180 for this clean. They apologized and begged to give them one more chance. I sent them pictures of the areas of concern by email. So I agreed to give them another chance, although my husband wanted me to fire them. They came back on Oct. 18. They had been told by there boss what to do as well as me leaving them a note which stated certain things to do like clean ALL window sills, dust ALL furniture, etc. When I got home, the main floor had not been swept as I found food in kitchen by cabinets, etc. The window sills were the same as before they came. I again called headquarters and they just threw it all under the bus. They told me that this employee had never had complaints against her and they couldn't believe me. I emailed the office pictures of evidence, etc. I fired them on the spot, demanded a refund and contacted the better business bureau. read more
