I would not recommend this cleaning service to anyone I know and care about. As new homeowners, we've had the pleasure of hiring various companies to assist with our home projects. Unfortunately, our experience with The Cleaning Authority was profoundly disappointing. They failed to deliver the promised cleaning services and did not remedy the situation, despite being given a second chance. It would be unreasonable to extend ourselves a third time. It honestly feels like this company has taken $580 from us, adding unnecessary stress during an already challenging time. We would have been happy to part with $580, plus a tip, if the company had delivered on what we hired them to do. That's why we sought the service in the first place. This expense seemed worth it to ease some of the burden that comes with moving. In hindsight, it would have been far better for our mental health to handle the cleaning ourselves rather than deal with this company. Additionally, the last email (shown in the attached photos) was never responded to, and it has now been over two weeks without any communication. Their likely response, claiming that "this clean was not guaranteed," seems to be an excuse to take payment without delivering services. This includes not fulfilling the terms outlined in our contract, such as conducting a walk-through and providing the basic services promised in their move-in ready clean. Based on previous responses to negative reviews, I would not be surprised if the owner makes a remark about the frustration in my communication with the company. In fact, the company went as far as to pit my partner's and my own communication against each other, attempting to gaslight me into believing my partner thought the cleaning was sufficient. I was, however, sitting next to him when he made the follow-up calls, clearly expressing his disappointment and noting that a final walk-through was never offered. read more

I only have ONE good thing that came from this job, my best friend who I met there. Who they eventually ended up taking away from me at this job which is fine cause over a year later we are still friends in the real world. I sat on this review for over a year just cause I'm not that kind of person but eh, it's been long enough. Without a doubt, worst management I've ever worked for. Things were bad at first but then things got ILLEGAL before I left. Literally illegal. Don't believe me? I'm not the only one they withheld money from I PROMISE. Favoritism. Withholding money on paychecks. Need I say more? Jeff Decoste is without a doubt a scam. His assistant whatever-her-name is, is a scam. ****They don't pay you what they say.*** They pick & choose who gets off at 3PM and who gets off at 7PM. I mean this with everything in me when I say: they have favorites, and they seriously MAKE SURE that it's obvious. They withheld at least a total of $500+ that was fairly mine from driving mileage, and claimed "We're human and make mistakes too". Uhm, STFU. You don't make THOSE kind of mistakes, consistently, that's ILLEGAL. They talk poorly behind others backs, they have an inspector who would wipe her finger on a crevice in the ceiling claiming a feather of dust was on it, and make us redust the whole home. And once they found out how we felt about her, they made sure she inspected every home I did.. This place is really sheisty. There's other reviews on them. Look all I can say is this company is going in the trash, at least Jeff Decoste's. I've had people message me since I quit and tell me I was right about the shifty shady things going on there. The Cleaning Authority (TCA) has been with our family for around 2 years, and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Jeff & his team. My husband and I both work full-time and have our kids involved in lots of activities - it was getting difficult to keep up with all of the cleaning. TCA has been very reliable and very prompt to respond to any questions/requests that we have had. Jay & Bridget have been with us regularly for many months, and they always make sure to care for our home and give some love to our dog, Charlie. We recently moved, and the team worked to make sure that Jay and Bridget were able to work our new location into their schedule, and we are so grateful to still have them with us! I must confess that I am a very spoiled client. I ALWAYS want cleaners who have been to my house (at least one of them) before and / or have been trained by someone who has been here many times. Much to my surprise Francisco and Nathan arrived today. Both were newer hires and neither had been here before. I was pleased with the how well they worked and the job they did. The price is right and Jeff and the other staff are very easy to work with and always helpful if there's a need to reschedule. I am always so pleased to get home on Friday afternoon after a long week at work to find a sparkling clean house! What a great way to start the weekend! The owner of the Cleaning Authority came to my house, listened to my concerns, and we scheduled a cleaning.
