I've been using Clean Bear to clean my home for over six years now. He has been one of the best cleaners who ever worked for me. He takes pride in his work and has exceeded my expectations. Every time he comes he does a little extra in different areas of the house - - one visit he cleans the fridge interior. In another he focuses on wiping the baseboards down. The overall effect is that the house has never been cleaner! He has also done a move out clean for me and a move in clean. I've found Jose's prices to be very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail he puts in to his work! It is so nice to have a clean home to enjoy after long week of work. This is the worst cleaning business I have ever encountered. I had used them for a year, then the owner didn't like the amount of $ I was paying and changed the cost on me the day of my service. So I had no choice but to agree to the increased cost. Thier main cleaner is never on time, cancelled on me last minute on 3 of 4 occasions. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and hired them to clean my parents house, they agreed and the they off they mysteriously had car isssues and cancelled. Then I rebooked them like a fool to give them 1 more chance, and again they were supposed to come yesterday and no showed with no explanation, now I haven't heard from anyone here in 48 hours. The worst business, I will never use them again and recommend no one wastes their time if they want someone reliable. read more

I hired The Clean Bear for a move-out cleaning. They did a very mediocre job. They missed a lot of spots and the management company said it was un-satisfactory. I had to pay another $200 to have the place re-cleaned. When the management company asked them to come re-clean, they refused and said they were released from liability. Very disappointed. read more

The team was on time and finished promptly. Blinds, ceiling fans, and bathroom mirrors were not cleaned. Price was higher than other bids. I contacted business to report my findings and was rudely told that I was wrong. There was no attempt to resolve the issue. New tenants had to finish their job. Then when I returned after he called me back there was a fair amount of dirt behind doors, inside of cabinets and drawers all while he was waiting in his car for me to return. Whatever you do, stay far away from this company. My husband and I just barely started moving into our first home and contacted the Clean Bear to do a deep clean. We have been cleaning as we move furniture in and have not even slept a night in the house yet, so wanted a professional cleaning before we do. Unfortunately, we have not witnessed more incompetency than we have in just this afternoon. The cleaner (Jose) showed up nearly 2 hours late, and there were supposed to be 2 cleaners, yet only he showed up. Because he was so late, my husband had to leave the house before Jose was finished. When Jose claimed to be done and was about to leave, I requested a final walk through. As we walked into the house, I asked if he cleaned the ceiling fans, closets, and shelves; he confirmed yes on all accounts. I could tell he was in a rush to leave, felt bad that his partner left him to clean alone, and did not think I needed to grab a ladder to question his word, since he is supposed to be the professional, after all. As we walked through the house, I pointed out multiple areas where it was clearly not vacuumed; Jose's solution was to wipe over these parts with a dirty rag, then stand in front of it so that I could not inspect it any further (we are still in a pandemic, and 6 feet between is necessary). When I went back later after he left to inspect his "touch up" work, I saw that the dirt and residue simply got moved to 1 foot away from where it originally sat. As I pointed out more and more areas that were still not clean, I could tell Jose was getting more irate (his "touch up" work got even sloppier, and he was giving numerous, senseless excuses on why he missed so many spots), and I began feeling uncomfortable. Beyond this, here is a (very much) shortened list of more places where the cleaning was absolutely unacceptable (I have posted photos and can provide time stamps of said photos, if this situation must be escalated further): - A clump of blond hair was found in the kitchen - we are both brunettes and have not had any blond visitors. - Multiple dead bugs, dirt, and sanded paint chips sitting on the window sills that he claimed to have cleaned. - It is clear that no vacuuming/cleaning happened behind the curtains, behind the doors, on closet shelves and floors, on closet railings. The WORST part of all is how the owner of the Clean Bear, Rafael, is handling this situation. We attempted to clear this up privately with Rafael before posting this public review. Not only did he refuse to take our call or call us when we politely requested it, he accused me of calling Jose a "creep" (his word, not mine - I think Jose's personality was fine, but I still did not feel comfortable after over a dozen critiques of his work to continue pointing out his errors without my husband present); he attempted to send an iCloud album of blurry, dark, and not up close photos taken by Jose to prove that the house "looks great" (yes, it looked great even before Jose showed up; it was not in disarray and we are tidy people - we just needed a deep, DETAILED clean before we start living here, which we did not get); we sent Rafael UP CLOSE photos of how dirty the place still is, and he basically stated that the photos prove nothing (...so what do Jose's photos prove then?). He has been nothing but rude, overly defensive, and unprofessional in handling this, and he has absolutely zero customer service skills. We wanted to give a smaller company a chance in order to boost their business and find a regular cleaning company. Unfortunately for us, this has been a dreadful experience when we have been so excited to move into our new home. Please do not make the same mistake we did by hiring Rafael or the Clean Bear. UPDATE: Similar to a previous poster, my husband continues to receive threatening texts from Rafael, who is resorting to name calling, accusing us of being liars (please note that he has not seen any of the "cleaning" with his own eyes), and claiming to call the police on us. I booked them earlier in the week and confirmed via text. He texted late the night before asking for my address and I missed it because I'm in the process of packing my house for a move, 2 jobs, and an infant. Instead of giving me a courtesy call day of because the appt was confirmed he just cancelled the appointment 45 minutes before they were supposed to show. Horrible way of doing business when he could have simply sent another text or picked up the phone to call and now I have to scramble to find someone else in a day. He had the time to text me that he cancelled but not confirming my address day of. Incredibly frustrating experience and wouldn't try to hire again. Update because he decided to comment: rather than guessing my address as you so rudely put it you could have simply picked up the phone to call me. People miss texts, it happens, but as a business owner you should have made one slight effort to confirm the address besides a text at 8pm. Jose came and cleaned our house today and it was such a great experience. He arrived early and with a great attitude! Our house was a mess and the job did take longer than initially agreed on but he stuck to the same price quoted. He even fixed our loose toilet seat and a piece that had come off on our bath tub without us even asking. He gave us such a peace of mind and went above and beyond with his attention to detail. The cleaning guy didn't do a good job, the carpet was barely vacuumed, I got 2 tanks of dust with my own vacuum. The bathroom was not well cleaned as well, there are water stains. read more

One person came to my house to clean today, I did not catch his name but he did a wonderful job. It may be the owner Jose but I am not sure. He was prompt, professional, friendly, finished in a timely manner, and everything looked fantastic when he left. Before packing all of his supplies up he double checked to make sure I was happy with everything and the cleaning that was done.
