We were assigned lane 17. After two approaches, I almost fell. There was grease from something on approach. When asked they came over with a broom and tried to sweep it up. No luck. I asked if they had acetone, they said no. That wasn't enough, they are string pin setters and they don't correctly count the pins and the setters fail on a regular basis because the pins slide but they don't fall. Then the pin setter doesn't work. We took three 0 scores because all but one pin went down, but the other slid and the system can't account for that and reset the pins. We finally asked for a refund, there was no one there capable of wiping down the approach or resetting the pins. Great for kids, but if you like to bowl, find somewhere else, it is terrible, absolutely terrible, If it were possible to give it less than one star I would.

They don't care about the customer experience and threatened to call the cops and kick me out of the store when I questioned their questionable businesses practices. Worker yelled and screamed at me for asking questions and the owner failed to resolve the issue. It's unfortunate because I have been a loyal customer for 3 years now and have bought countless cards from their whatnot streams. We stumbled upon this shop as I was driving by. I made a u-turn and went back. It's in a small shopping center that had a somewhat vague "sports card" sign on the sign out by the street so I honestly wasn't sure if it was an old sign and I just hadn't seen it before. However, we found that they were open and my son was pumped. The shop owner was really friendly and mentioned that he will be doubling the size of his store soon by taking over the adjoining unit. He has a good collection of stuff including: -autographed and/or graded baseball, basketball, and football cards. -newer sports card packs and other collectible packs. -solid collection of rare Pokémon cards. -good collection of Pop figures -signed sports memorabilia Overall, we like the shop and I recommend visiting. We will be back. A couple of things we are hoping for when they expand are some vintage cards and old sealed 80s/90s era packs and sets. We are also hoping that he would open the shop up to the community to sell and trade a couple days of the months. Where we currently live, the sports card shop does that and charges the vendors a small table fee to set up. That way the shop makes money as well. I excited this shop is there and so are my boys!

This place checked all three boxes. The room was no-frills, but clean and comfortable. The TV was on the smaller side, but it worked fine, and the A/C absolutely cranked, which is a huge plus in Mesquite. Ice machines were easy to access, and parking was plentiful, with plenty of overflow parking available if needed. There was also a poolside bar, which looked like a nice place to relax. I didn't eat there during my one-night stay, but several people told me the food was decent. Overall, I can't think of any reason I wouldn't stay here again when visiting Mesquite. HIRE BETTER MANAGEMENT…read more I preordered food, I will never do that again. I went and had to stand behind a huge crowd of employees that made no effort or work whatsoever. Even the managers (X2) stood there not caring that the lobby was filthy and people were waiting with no help to get concessions or be scanned in because they were all blocking me and laughing at a baby Yoda doll. Then after I raised my hand behind the workers, for sometime one manager told them to let me through. Just to be told my order had already been filled. Great so where is it, someone not me must have picked it up. They made it seem as if this were a me problem or maybe I was lying. After sometime of looking at my order verification, not by one manager but two they finally gave me and my partner our large popcorn. Yes, by now we were late for our movie (we spent over 20 minutes with the crowd of workers and are we getting our popcorn or not stuff). Then we move to get scanned into our movie. Guess where the crowd of kids working there had moved to, not to clean the lobby or help other people. No they were crowded in front of the podium to get scanned into our movie. It took several, "excuse me," before they decide to split the group, so I had to walk down an aisle of 6-8 employees just to get scanned. I even said this is super awkward. To which they said, "yeah, right" Why do they not go do some work. Anyway, I'm not sure I will go back even if it's the only theatre in town. But I will definitely not opt for preordering food, so they can ask if you're lying about picking it up and make you late for the movie. Hire better management!! They were a big problem. I like when the retro girl worked there. Hope she's still there.
