It sits off the street with minimal lighting at the entrance so I initially drove past it. Once inside, I was really impressed with how the organizers transformed the space. It's really flexible & perfect for small to medium sized events. It's literally a blank slate awaiting your creative vision. You can comfortably seat roughly 100 guests. Free parking is available onsite and there are a couple outdoor areas available for ceremonies as well. Finally, the cost is reasonable. What started as a burned-down building in need of repair was turned into an amazing outdoor space that feels natural, intimate and inviting for small events. From comedy to poetry readings, yoga, to art - this space is really special and if you're in the Frederick area it's worth checking out. There's plenty of free or low-cost parking nearby and it's also around the corner from great restaurants and Carroll Creek so the location couldn't be better.

I think having the nicer mobile bathrooms that a lot of outdoor wedding venues use would add so much functionality to the space.

The buffet that was served was carribean food and I have to say was some of the best carribean food I have had in a while! The only that was not spiced up was the fried chicken but that could have been for people that could not handle alot of spice and flavor. They also had a beautiful bar with stool top chairs and a huge television/ monitor. This place can literally used for anything from family get together, parties, club nights, but for us it was used to hold our repass. The owners were extraordinary people and we were thankful to be able to use there space for our event. If you are looking for a great location venue give this place a look. You'll be glad you did.
