I'm not joking when I say she cut his hair in 5 minutes. He was so distracted by Cars on the TV in front of him and by the fun things for him to play with, that he let her cut his hair without any fussing-- something we've not been able to accomplish while cutting his hair at home. The haircut wasn't great. It's exactly what you'd expect from a 5 minute haircut. But it was exactly what we needed-- his hair to be shorter without much fuss. The stylist didn't seem to care about his haircut other than jumping in and out quickly. If I was pickier, I would not have been happy, but then I remember that cutting a wiggly toddler's hair is a near impossible task. But Peek-a-Do managed to do it, so kudos.

She was so respectful of our toddler, asking him questions before she put on the cape and sprayed his hair with water. And she was so, so, so fast. Our guy got the best hair cut while he was still happy and engaged because Ms. Donna was so professional and amazing with him! Her salon was personal, clean, and perfect for littles. We are thrilled to have a spot for future haircuts. Thank you so much!!

Kelly seemed very unhappy and annoyed our entire visit. She barely spoke to me or my boys. While she was washing my youngest son's hair he began to cry because her brushing through it hurt and she stopped at one point and just glared meanly at him. When she went to trim their hair, which she also did a poor job at compared to the previous time she sat them at a station where the tv was either broken or she didn't turn it on, I don't know which. I asked her to move us to a station where the tv worked and she seemed annoyed but without saying a word pointed to another station for us to move to. Needless to say we will not be back. I don't know what we did to offend her. It's been months since this visit but my boys still remember the angry lady that did their hair. That's why I felt the need to leave a review. I hope no one else has been treated this way but it was traumatic for me and especially my boys.

During one cut the stylist Tina complained and chastised me for almost the entire time her hair was knotty. A $35 cut, wash and blow took 35 minutes. I was prepare to tip generously as I knew it was more work than usual. As parents we have so much to do but 20 minutes of being told on repeat that your kid's hair is knotty the only tip I have is shut the f up. My other daughter received a haircut from another stylist and it was on a complete diagonal. Going for a haircut and wash should be a somewhat relaxing experience with a fun outcome. My kids were quiet and excited at ages 8 and 10. I just wanted to get out of there because I felt uncomfortable and frustrated. If you want a stressful time caused by the poor services of the workers, then this is the place for you. I rather a stress free $100 haircut for my kids.

I have always been a huge fan of the pixie cut and I wore one for over 10+ yrs. One of the main…read morereasons I chose to wear a pixie cut (other than the fact that a cute pixie will make you look and feel sexy) was because I have had SEVERAL bad experiences and I didn't trust anyone with my hair. And I was embarrassed of certain areas of my hair. And every time I would try and give a hairstylist a chance, they would say mean things to me or make me feel even more insecure than I was already feeling. And I gave up on going to the salons. I had lost all trust and faith in hairstylist. But during the pandemic I decided to grow my hair out. Not only was I tired of having to maintain the pixie cut, I just wanted something different. During my transition of growing my hair out I decided to wear braids and this was when I met Brittany. I had began to get my hair braided by Ms. Kandy and while I'm the chair Brittany came in and introduced herself and gave me her card and said to come see her when I was ready to wear my hair. Her sister (who is the owner of Amaka's International Hair Salon) was very nice as well. She too came in a talked me and made me feel comfortable and I felt at home. Anyways, once my hair had reached a length I was okay with wearing out, I did just that. I stepped out on faith and made an appointment with Brittany. She and her sister were so welcoming, I had to go back. I have several areas of my hair that needed some love, and Brittany did just that. She nursed my hair back to life. My first appointment she asked a lot of questions and made me feel extremely comfortable. By the time I made my appointment, my hair had grown out and I was now relaxer free and Not once did Brittany make me feel like it was impossible for me to stay natural. But instead She's always giving me good hair tips on how to maintain my natural hair in between appointments. Brittany is always polite, she's ALWAYS on time, and I'm always her priority while I'm in her chair. I absolutely love my hair and Brittany have renewed my faith in hairstylist. If you're looking for a great hairstylist that cares about you, your hair, and in making you feel special, Go see my girl Brittany! I promise, she's the truth!

It has lasted 6 weeks which is the most I can expect Negative: my cut was a disaster. I showed up with a bob and a picture of former bobs. I asked for a color and cut. As noted, color was fine. But I got a 1970 Dorothy Hamel wedge! The total opposite of a bob When Rez showed me my hair, I asked" Is my hair longer in the front?" She said my hair was too short for the cut I asked for... I came in for a trim! I looked like a mix between a former 1960's Beetle and Dorothy! I didn't want to hurt her business but 7 weeks later, as I try to find a new salon, I still don't know how to get my cut fixed Beware- look at the back of the hair of Rez, the receptionist and 2 of the stylists. If you want your back to be an uneven wedge, they have it done.... Anything else is beyond them. I regret hurting her business, but I can't let others be as disappointed as I was. I was traveling for our 30 th Anniversary and refused my husband to take any pictures because it looked so stupidly bad.
