Everything here is so delicious you can tell that it's freshly made. I love the cupcakes, BEST in BCS! I also love the chocolate of corse. The cookies are delicious as well as the gelato. You can't go wrong with any of the desserts here. read more

Disappointed. The display looks full of old products, especially the Gelato, which seems stale. Way too expensive too.

My mother-in-law and father-in-law wanted to take us and a few of their grandchildren out for ice cream this past Saturday. Since we had never been to the Chocolate Gallery before, we were excited to try it. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. Instead of being greeted with friendly faces, the two women working at the front looked visibly unhappy to see us--especially the children. It felt very strange, considering this is a chocolate shop that you'd expect to be welcoming to families. Despite my in-laws spending a good amount of money, we didn't feel that our business was appreciated. The one bright spot was the man working behind the glass making chocolates. He seemed to genuinely enjoy children and was smiling and waving at them, which the kids loved. Overall, the service upfront left a lot to be desired, even though the chocolate-making display was a highlight for the kids. read more

The owners are wonderful, employees so nice to work with, the cakes are beautiful, chocolates are delicious and it's very clean.

I've been to couple of chocolate factories/galleries, and I would say $3 for a piece is very common price. However, the issue is, here, the chocolate is smaller than other places I went to, and they taste just okay. Man, $3 for a tiny piece of chocolate, my expectation has been set high for how much I paid. I ordered Whoop pie (the Texas A&M logo one) and royal pecan. Unfortunately neither of them reached my expectations. Some artisan brand chocolates in grocery store are larger and taste better. They also have hot chocolate, cheesecakes, ice cream, and other bakery items available. Cakes are about $7-10 per piece, cookies are about $2-3. Might come back to try some cakes but definitely not going to have chocolate here. read more

Stopped by CG for a chocolate fix. We purchased the Dr Pepper, Tres Leches, and Roasted Honey Pecan truffles. Each was a beautiful piece of chocolate art. All were also delicious. Didn't quite get the Dr Pepper or Tres Leches flavors. The Roasted Honey Pecan was spot on. Definitely on my 'Keepers List' when I come to visit my daughter at A&M. read more

One of the good places to get good chocolates.. I tried their sugar free dark chocolate bar, Italian chocolate , and a mocha filled cup shaped chocolate. I recommend the bar and the cup shaped chocolate. They first one was very tasty and is not extremely sweet. The second had intricate feeling to it and I absolutely loved them both. The clear glass windows let you see the art of chocolate making and the sculptures that they have showcased in their shop is pretty impressive. read more

The Chocolate Gallery - Gelato Near Me - Bryan, Texas

I was born and raised in Bryan. I left as quickly as I could after graduating high school because I just did not understand the appeal of a small town. Coming back now I realize my mistake. I truly do have wonderful friendships that have lasted a lifetime and although downtown Bryan no longer has "My White Store" (i.e, Woolworths, where my mother would take me in my lace-edged dresses and patent leather white shoes to the lunch counter for a Cherry Coke and french fries if it was a special day) downtown has now been upgraded with some wonderful new locations ... THIS being one I was pleased to find. Being able to watch the chefs at work and eat the chocolates they make write off the shelf was a treat. Add in the comfy seating and the coffee (which could have been a bit stronger for my taste) and you have a great niche to stop at and enjoy the sweet life that exists in a small town square. read more

Such a cute place to visit, the different chocolates were delicious and you can tell they put a lot of heart into what they do. I'm glad I visited. The woman working the counter was a delight. She was so kind. read more

The Chocolate Gallery is absolutely one of the best bakeries in Bryan College Station. Working at a wedding venue, we have tasted our fair share of cakes and the quality of cake that The Chocolate Gallery provides is extraordinary. Their cakes are delicious, beautiful, and stay together when it is cut. We would highly recommend ordering from The Chocolate Gallery for any occasion! read more

We stopped in here tonight and got some wonderful gelato! It was fun to walk around the shop and look at the plethora of stuff they had. I wanted to get some chocolates, but they are very pricey--understandably so, because every chocolate is beautifully made and they all sounded so unique. I wish I could've tried some! I will give 5 stars because I'm sure they would've been good, but do be warned that it is incredibly expensive for the chocolates. The ice cream and cookies were fairly priced. read more

This is the type of place that makes you envy Chocolatiers, the real life Willa Wonkas. There is a mass array of chocolates to choose from. I was pleased to see that they had a few vegan options: -Chipotle Smoked Chocolate -French Marzipan -Orange Chai Spice -Pineapple Brulee Pate de Fruit -Texas Marzipan I almost ate my $20 box of chocolate in one sitting. *Looks ashamed. They also make their own gelato and offer classes. A pleasant place to stop by in Downtown Bryan. read more

Interesting place and definitely worth checking out. Everything looks fancy but don't assume it's too expensive. You can get small item for a few $. They box everything up really nice almost too pretty to unwrap...even if we were only walking over to a table to eat it. One complaint I would have is that I asked for a cup of water and was giving the smallest paper cup of water you can imagine. They could use a water fountain. Of course they sell bottled water so I guess that's what they would hope you would buy. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would, the desserts are ok , but just the actual customer service is awful. One woman who I assume is the owner of this place, because she acts so entitled, is incredibly rude and just downright has the worst attitude. Do not recommend , go somewhere else with better food and nicer people. read more

I love going here. They have everything a sweet tooth needs. Try the lemon cheesecake...it is heavenly and rich. You may want to share a slice with someone. I love the snickerdoodle cookies too.

Very poor service. We walked in on a slow day and no one greeted us. In fact, the two young ladies behind the counter were more interested in talking to each other and not customers. I was very disappointed. read more

As noted by others regarding Ciana's cupcakes, they are very dry and crumbly. Pretty bad as a matter of fact. On the bright side, if you like very sweet frosting with a hint of butter flavor, ask if you can just buy a scoop of frosting for half the price of a cupcake. read more

The Chocolate Gallery - Too dry to enjoy! - Gelato Near Me - Bryan, Texas

The mixed reviews made me a little apprehensive, but this place was well worth it. We had 5 chocolates: 70% cacao, habanero, key lime pie, red velvet cake, and carrot cake. They were all delicious! My wife likes spicy chocolate, and the habanero chocolate was perfect, with strong chocolate flavor while chewing and a delicate, lingering heat after eating. There was not a flat one in the bunch. We also got a carrot cake cupcake, which was fantastic. The cake was moist with just the right amount of crunch from the carrot. The frosting was also delicious, with maybe a hint of lemon? Many people thought this place was too expensive, but I appreciated the high quality I was paying for. If you want bulk value, I recommend putting yourself out to pasture with a feedbag full of Hershey kisses. If you want to sample a few delicacies, I highly recommend this place. I took off one star for a variety of reasons. First, they were low on inventory on many of their offerings, which was a little disappointing. Second, the large space inside is not well utilized, making the place feel empty even when people are hanging out. They could definitely benefit from an interior designer to help them properly maximize the massive space. I also sorely missed a large menu on the wall, which could perhaps highlight special offerings and better explain the pricing. Finally, they sell coffee but only drip coffee from a large carafe. I didn't feel as if the coffee really went with the chocolate. They could definitely push harder on chocolate and coffee flavored drinks, chocolate covered coffee beans, etc to really tie the two together more cohesively. Regardless, this business is a great presence in downtown Bryan! read more

I bought an Aggie velvet cupcake from The Chocolate Gallery, and I was extremely disappointed. The cake itself was inexcusably dry and lacking flavor. The frosting lacked flavor and was whipped, which I don't think went well with the cake. It was a little expensive at nearly five dollars. I feel like I can make better cupcakes at home for half the price. I would not recommend getting a cupcake here. The chocolates are hit or miss and absolutely too expensive. Three dollars for one chocolate is verging on price gouging. I think it's great that a shoppe like this opened up in town, but it needs to be good if the owners want to stay in business. read more

We went on a field trip with almost 68 third graders. They were very accommodating and it seemed to go very well. It definitely was tight and very worrisome with that many kids in such a small shop but they never seemed worried. The kids seemed to enjoy their field trip. read more

I noticed this place on first Friday and bought a box of 6 chocolates to split with my friend. The box of six cost $19 so they are more expensive than Truman's, my expectations where high since I am a big fan of Truman's and every single flavor I have tried at Truman's has been delicious. I chose milk chocolate with pumpkin filling, a caramel apple candy, and a strawberry candy. The pumpkin one was the best of the three, the caramel apple was mostly caramel, and the strawberry was fine but nothing extraordinary. If this place was cheaper than Truman's it would definitely give it a run for it's money, however since it is not, I'll be sticking with Truman's for my candies. They do other things than candies though, like cakes, which I have not tried. read more

Terrible terrible terrible!! Don't visit on a Friday night... Approx. 30 customers in the store with 1 person working. Waited in a line for 20 minutes only to be overlooked by the young lady behind the counter, who opted to help college friends browsing the merchandise. What's even worse, the young lady acknowledged our frustration-looked at us and shrugged her shoulders. Will be personally writing a message to the owner(s). read more

Truly awful! Female owner was not friendly ; cupcakes were pretty, but had a TERRIBLE texture. (I think they were frozen, then thawed.) Goods are seriously overpriced, and they have no clue how to utilize their space. I will stick with Cake Junkie. read more

Okay so this review I feel is much more heavily based on their service than their actual product. The chocolate is absolutely delicious. I have to preface I came on a really bad day where they were significantly understaffed and there were about 5 people waiting to order. Generally I wouldn't' mind the wait, however I was in a rush that day and the one worker was clearly not well organized to assist customers. She kept going out of order (Most likely an accident) and took quite some time to do even the simplest tasks. The worst part was a woman that needed to place a large bulk order who she helped for nearly twenty minutes while everyone else was waiting to pick up on or two quick orders. I really wish she had gone through and asked what she could get started for each person and push out the quicker options first. Anyway, the chocolates were delicious, but they were such a hassle to get. Would recommend this place if you've got a while to wait, but if you're in a rush for a quick gift - not the first spot I would recommend. read more

NOTORIETY: Chocolatier & Pastry Jt FOOD: Vanilla cupcake ($3.50): Let's start off by saying it is a pretty good cupcake. The frosting was a bit too sweet for my taste, but had a nice texture and vanilla flavor. The cake portion was crumbly but a bit dry. The dryness could be b/c I waited until much later to eat it. OVERALL: It's a nice venue to check out. They even have on display a Han Solo on in chocolate "carbonite". It's a bit pricy tough, so be warned. RECOMMENDATION: None yet. TIP: None yet. read more

I have been a fan of The Chocolate Gallery since they first opened. Their cupcakes, cakes, and chocolates are phenomenal. The first thing I noticed about the cupcakes are the size. Very huge, so so moist. Lots of frosting, which I love. It's fun to pop in and see what the specialty cupcakes are for the day. They have gelato now and it is tasty as well! Such interesting flavors. The location is lovely, you can tell they really take pride in the building. It's like an art gallery for chocolate. Ciana catered our wedding, and all of our guests raved at the quality. Definitely my favorite bakery! read more

Amazing! The chocolate bars are beyond words. The sculptures are awe inspiring. The cupcakes are scrumptious. The service, friendly and prompt. It seems expensive until you get a bite and see the work that goes into the perfectly made desserts. It is really cool to watch the chefs create the cakes and chocolates in a glass enclosed room. Today....Gelato! Made fresh with Italian recipes and only the best ingredients. First Friday rocks. read more

White Chocolate Raspberry gelato may be some of the best in the world. Truly fantastic. Pricy though.

This place is, in a word, AWFUL. Not only is it over-priced, but the baked goods are dry! I've had cupcakes from there, and every last one of them, HAD to have been frozen and thawed the day before. Even the frosting is tasteless., To top it off, the customer service wasn't that great. --------------------------------- 3/16/16: Someone gave me toffee from the Chocolate Gallery. Unfortunately, it lived up to my low opinion. How do you make chocolate and toffee taste like a stale sugar cube? There was zero chocolate or toffee flavor. How are they still open? read more

We stopped by after lunch for some of the chocolates that I've been dying to try for YEARS! My husband and I selected the white chocolate raspberry fudge, key lime pie, Dr. Pepper, and Rumchata truffles. Every single one was a disappointment. The white chocolate raspberry was entirely too sweet and had no raspberry flavor at all. The key lime pie was too bitter and the graham cracker crust had a weird aftertaste. The Dr. Pepper one was too sweet, as well, and tasted nothing like Dr. Pepper. The Rumchata had a weird flavor as well, definitely not Rumchata. I've had the macarons in the past and they're also not good- they taste stale and crack easily. We won't be back. read more

I gave this place a 1 for a few reasons. First, I tried it once about 3 weeks ago, and then again yesterday. The first time I went, my friends and I each got a cupcake and then shared so we could try different ones. The cake was dense and dry, almost brownie like except with no flavor and overcooked. The frosting was piled on so high, there was more frosting than anything. It had an okay flavor, but was too sugary and the texture was weird. Bad first impression. Yesterday, the same group of friends and I decided to try it again and brought a couple more people. This time we got an assortment of chocolates, cookies, and a couple cupcakes. The chocolates were the best, though Truman's are a little better and a little less expensive. The cupcakes were the same, horrible. We tried the cookies and cream one, the white chocolate raspberry, and the Maroon Velvet something. The raspberry filling was actually okay, the rest terrible. Then the cookies... The sugar cookies that were iced were edible, but the spritz cookie tasted like paper. It was dry, dense as a rock, and the fruit in the center(we had a raspberry one and an apricot one) was terrible. It had ZERO flavor. The chocolate peanut butter was not good, but the Strawberry Marscapone chocolate was actually pretty amazing. That was the one thing we had that was worth anything. Don't waste your time. Cake Junkie is 10 times better and cheaper, and Truman Chocolates are tastier. read more

Everything looked absolutely amazing.....too bad we couldn't try anything! I walked in with my daughter after a morning of walking around downtown Bryan. We didn't look rich enough, I guess. Which is upsetting because I actually was going to spend quite a bit not only for us to sample but also to send my son a HUGE care package in the Marines. We weren't even acknowledged. 10 min later felt like less than worthless. Thanks chocolate gallery read more
