Speaking of which, many times you'll see friends and family also dining here. They have a super takeaway business. I've provided copies of their menu to help in your takeaway ordering. Today, we had the dine-in lunch specials. Each lunch came with soup; we choose Egg Drop Soup and Wonton Soup. Both soups, see my pics, are full of ingredients and piping hot (particularly welcomed on this cold, windy day). Each broth was rich and flavorful. The wonton soup had crunchy veggies inside the wonton. The Garlic Chicken was full of flavor. The garlic while pronounced wasn't over powering. The diced water chestnuts were crunchy which complimented the moist chicken and was good carrier for the garlic sauce. The carrot slices added some flavor but really added more crunch. The side egg roll (also comes with the lunch special) was super crunchy and mildly flavorful. The brown rice was a great way to enjoy the remaining sauce. The Chicken with Broccoli had the same sides as the Garlic Chicken. However, its sauce was milder, yet still savory.

Family owned and operated, this little restaurant is located in the cute small town of Norwalk. The restaurant is clean and includes your traditional Chinese deco. On to the food: we have not had anything here yet that we didn't LOVE! Yeah. Fresh ingredients, authentic Chinese spices and preparation, and prices are very reasonable especially for the amount of food you get. The star of the show for us is the duck! If you want to get the duck, you have to order it a couple days in advance and it's sooooo worth it! Service was exceptional considering it's usually only one or two of their family members working. If you're in a rush, be sure to order head and be patient. They're able to keep their prices affordable because they don't hire a lot of staff. If you're dining in, go early. If you come at peak dinner time, expect to wait a little bit. Even with only one server the night we dined there, service was still quick. This restaurant will be on our regular rotation of places to eat at!

I ordered: Egg drop soup Pot stickers Chicken wings Shrimp egg fou young. Other than the soup everything wasn't even edible. The spring rolls were passable. The potstickers were horrible. They had a thick dough on them and very little filling. The dough seemed more than pancake batter. The chicken wings were overcooked, tough and inedible . This order was a gift from a family member for Mothers Day. I don't know what going on at China Dragon but it wasn't the China dragon I was used to. Very disappointed . I don't know if I'll visit again

Atmosphere: Mom and Pop quaint shop with mostly tables of 2-4 and one round table for 5-6 people. Service: We meet one half of the owners, which was the wife, (husband is main chef and she cooks too if they get busy) and she was very nice and helpful in choosing dishes. Food: Combo Lo Mein -5/5 May be my absolute fave Lo Mein noodles. Great flavors and even better when it's made spicy! Sesame Chicken: 5/5 Kiddos loved this and even asked if we could order an extra portion of this to take home. Crispy and not overly saucy. Kung Pao Chicken: 4/5 Great flavors and abundant in veggies, which I love. Sauce is delicious! My middle son also loved their Teriyaki Chicken Skewers. He gives them a 4/5, said it could be saucier but we thought there was more than enough sauce on it. All in all, we would definitely be back to order more of our top three dishes and 1-2 more dishes to try again. We have eaten here for takeout and dine in. Both were fantastic but dine in is just this much better because the food comes out so quick and fresh!

In a change from a year ago, it's just white rice and no egg roll included with this dish. The Mongolian beef wasn't as flavorful as we remembered it. The portion was large and we were able to bring home quite a bit. Adding soy sauce did add flavor to it. The egg rolls were good. I love their hot mustard. This must be a trend in Chinese restaurants, but you can no longer get a glass of water. You have to buy a bottle. Seems a little strange. The people were pleasant

I went just before 8 pm on a Thursday night and was the only dine-in customer. There were some people standing outside talking, but other than a couple of carry-out customers there weren't many people there. The seating area was immaculate and they let me sit wherever I wanted. The server brought me a menu immediately. I ordered Mongolian beef. Meals come with rice, soup, and a spring roll. I ordered the egg drop soup and friend rice. The soup and spring roll came out almost immediately. I noticed that the soup wasn't just egg. There were actually pieces of carrots and celery in it, and it wasn't too salty like a lot of restaurant soups are. The spring roll had a crisp, flaky crust. I was so glad it wasn't soggy with oil. The main dish came out before I could finish my soup and before I could even touch the spring roll. The beef had a good flavor, and best of all it was not drowning in oil or some kind of sauce. I appreciated the food and the good service. I plan to come back soon and bring some more people with me.

I would never want to be the reason somebody has to continue serving after closing time! We ordered chicken with mushrooms, Mongolian beef, and fried rice. We paid less than $40! We were told to expect 10-15 minutes wait because everything is made fresh. 12 minutes later our food was ready to go. The restaurant is clean and decorated like any other middle American Chinese restaurant. The ladies restroom was exceptionally clean. Watching the fish in the fish tanks passes the time nicely but I would have appreciated a label saying what kind of fish they are. One tank says "his name is Mushroom" which is very appropriate for the shape of the fish! We had a very short drive to our hotel and the car smelled amazing. The fried rice was perfect, absolutely perfect! It was perfectly cooked, tender but separate grains of buttery well seasoned rice with super sweet peas. Excellent flavor! The chicken with mushrooms was exactly what my Mama was hoping for. The Mongolian beef was very tender and saucy but not at all spicy. This is my only complaint... don't show me a spicy red pepper on the menu and then give me a dish with no spice! Don't get me wrong, the dish is delicious! It's just NOT SPICY! I wanted some heat on my meat!
