The wings comes with 7 wings but as you can see one of the wings is barely even one bite. These are part wings by the way, not full wings. To also say we paid $18 for the vermacili salad, which was 80% salad and 20% eggrolls. That's a markup that's not even worth it. Final verdict: take your money elsewhere. They didn't skimp on the egg roll fillings, which I really appreciated. I've gotten egg rolls from other places where it just feels like cabbage and the bare minimum pork, but this wasn't like that. We have done the food truck at the New Hope Hy Vee several times as well. A delicious juicy burger perfectly seasoned with a massive crispy meat skirt. One single and one double cheese plain came to $30 cash with tax and tip. Great value.

As evidenced by the name, Tiki Tim's focuses mainly on island inspired cuisine (save for the fried pickles). Their menu is fairly modest in size, comprised of Tiki (shrimp and crab) cakes, fish tacos, a Hawaiian influenced pulled pork sandwich and a smattering of side dishes. While the choices are limited, they've all been quite good. The fish tacos are the highlight for me, with generous pieces of crispy and not-too-greasy fish, but you really can't wrong with anything (bring a knife and fork for the pork sandwich). The converted big blue Chevy is easy to spot on the streets, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Given that we're about as far from the coasts as possible and a long haul from Hawaii, it's nice to see someone aspiring to bring the tropical mindset to the streets of the Twin Cities.
