I came here by myself on the spur of the moment because I had a sudden craving for them, and was not disappointed. To pull this off I'm well aware that a lot of their food comes prepackaged or things are prepped in advanced and frozen. This doesn't typically bother me because you get what you pay for however, the last time I dined here I got the deep-fried mac & cheese balls and they were still kind of cold in the middle. If you're going to use frozen or prepackaged foods and pass it off as a "fine dining experience" you have to do it, right. Overall, not a bad spot for a bite to eat (a really large bite), but there's so many better options of the medicine area to consider beforehand. The last manager I spoke to was Beatrice. She was honest and confirmed the time and that she would be working on that day. When I showed up, she was very attentive and she had the head manager and others assisting my guest of maybe 11 people! Let me say that everything was on POINT!!! The food and service was EXCELLENT! We told by the manger that a customer (who wanted to remain ANONYMOUS) had PAID the ENTIRE BILL for the entire table!! I was OVERWHELMED and SHOCKED!!!!! I had lunch with a colleague last month and loved the avocado eggrolls from the sampler in appetizer section. So I got an order of avocado eggrolls minus the cilantro as I'm allergic to it. Also got the lemon raspberry cheesecake. I reminded person who took the order to omit cilantro. I am aware that there's cilantro in the dipping sauce where I don't plan on using. I was on my lunch break and failed to check the orders when I left the restaurant. I was so excited to have this as a treat since I seldom eat deep fried food. Well, I was so disappointed to see all the freshly chopped cilantro sprinkled on the eggrolls. I tried to brush them off but it was very difficult as they stuck to the eggroll filings. Really this is a cheesecake place with food on the side. The cheesecake never fails to impress. It's fatty, creamy and the variety of flavors gives you all the different levels of sugar you could ask for! The food on the other hand is, alas, mediocre, which is fair for a factory of cheesecake. I know my last review of this place was 4 years ago and I said I'd never return but my partner convinced me to based on his high recommendations. Happy hour is evidently the best time to show up to this place. With my crazy work schedule and life schedule I can't make it to this location by happy hour and I've tried multiple times! (A mini goal for 2023?!?). I ordered a pasta dish and my partner ordered some chicken Asian dish. Both were excellent, rich in flavor, perfect sauce ratio, there was still crunchiness to the nuts in the chicken dish. Our waitress was hilarious and made the experience memorable and fun. We got seated immediately however it took about 10 minutes for our server to come over to us. No big deal, the menu is huge! We ordered the avocado egg rolls, my favorite appetizer! Came out quickly and was warm. The pasta came out shortly after. We shared as it's a HUGE portion and still had leftovers. The waiter forgot to bring us bread until the end of the meal but it was delicious once we got it. Of course had to order cheesecake and after researching it seemed red velvet was the way to go. This is such a great food place. My friends and I love going here cause there's always something for everyone and my friends always find something to eat and every time. Im a college senior at Edgewood college and my friend and I try to go to Cheesecake Factory every two west towne mall trips on weekends. There service is awesome. The only downside is the wait time if you don't have a reservation can be a bit of a wait so i have learned that I have to make a reservation here on yelp in-order to make sure my friends and I get a table as some of my friends are impatient. The best time to come to the Cheesecake Factory is Saturday or Sunday for lunch. The reason is there's a separate brunch menu that's available only from 10 to 2 on weekend days. Dan tried the Chicken and Waffles from the brunch menu and was very happy. Don't forget the syrup with them both in one huge bite, YUM! Mary went with the Asian Salad with Chicken on the "light menu." It was nicely chopped, very fresh and massively huge! I must remember for next time. The California cheesesteak philly sandwich I ordered was not very good. Too steaming hot. While the bread was crusty and toasted, the contents of meat, peppers and cheese was most certainly heated via a nuclear fusion devise. The special requested Au Jus, because while they could easily serve a French Dip, which was what I actually really wanted, was just brown sea water. 2 stars max. The chicken strips looked and tasted incredible. A+ My wife's salad another strong contender, an A. My sons sad looking steak was just sorry looking. It was supposed to be a NY strip, looked like a malnourished sirloin, with very nice mashed potato's and a quadruple portion of bright happy green beans. We came back, this time it was to celebrate a friend's last day in Madison (goodbye, farewell, definitely come back to visit!) and another friend's belated birthday, so we had a large crowd of 15. Friends arrived around 7:30PM and waited patiently till 8:15 before we were finally seated (it was the double seat tables in the back by the kitchen grouped together into two larger separate tables - we went ahead and just combined the separation, the reasoning was since it was a curved seating, it didn't fully align but having it separate seemed more awkward). Given our large party, the waitress took down our drink orders and then came back shortly after for our food order. In a little while, all the food arrived in what seemed like a shorter period of time than when we were waiting for food the other day. The food itself was just okay. Again still overpriced for the quality of food we received, but nonetheless, edible and delicious especially if you're starving. We didn't finish our meals till 9:30PM, given how long it took to seat us and then a few friends orders cheesecakes and other desserts. For our belated friend's birthday, they even provided a free fudge dessert (she ended up not eating it since she already ordered tiramisu cake but another friend happily gobbled it up). When it came to the bill, the two friends meals that we were out to celebrate were split onto the remaining bills. However, one item was only split onto two bills, waitress was nice enough to have this as a separate bill and allowed us to chip in to pay for it separately. We had a terrible experience when we were at the restaurant last Thursday. First of all it was not busy as we came in early for dinner. First the restaurant was very cold. The waitress took awhile to wait on us. My wife and I both had hamburgers. Her burger was okay but the bun on mine was hard as a rock. Usually the waitress will check on you after your food arrives which did not happen. I did not want to wait so I started eating the burger without the bun. Waitress finally arrived after I had eaten half the burger. I explained the situation and she left and brought me the top part of a bun on a plate. Really? Never apologized. The fries were luke warm.
