We came here for a wedding last month. The venue is really nice and has a beautiful outdoor area. I am writing this review for the food. I am vegan and hadn't heard anything about what they were serving. They have an open kitchen, which I love, so I walked right over and asked. They were very friendly and accommodating! They told me they would make something for me, and when it came time to plate up, they would have it waiting. WOW! It was delicious! I am a new mom and don't get out much. That was the best meal I have had in a long time!!!! I still think about it. I'm sad it's not your typical restaurant where I could order it again. The perfect venue for a dream Quinceañera! We chose The Chalet Event Center in Rocklin, CA, for our daughter's Quinceañera, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning, featuring a beautiful garden and a courtyard that served as the ideal backdrop for outdoor photos. The food was delightful, and the service was exceptional. The team members constantly checked on our guests--refilling water, clearing plates, and anticipating every need. Our bartender was also incredibly friendly and took fantastic care of everyone's cocktails. A special thank you to Roberto, our event manager, who regularly checked in with us to coordinate dinner timing, the toasts, and the cake cutting. I just went to the most beautiful 15 here. Everything was so beautiful. The outside was so nice for my kids to run around. The only two things that it was hot inside so I wish the venue knew to put the ac lower on a hot day and the bathrooms need a lot more attention. Other than that this place is so perfect. read more

I celebrated my husband's 50th birthday here. With all the celebrations that I've done this place was by far the best. It's a family run business and Bosue was my contact. He responded to my messages day and night. He gave me names of all the vendors that I needed and they were all amazing. The only hiccup we had was that more people showed up than expected. I asked him for more tables and he delivered without any hesitation. Needless to say the party was a success . Will definitely book again. I give this venue and service 10/10 read more

Location is prefect, Bosue the owner is very flexible when it comes to in house food or outside food. The indoor and outdoor option is also very nice since people can catch some fresh air if they like and can be indoors if the weather is not pleasant outside. Overall attentiveness and service are great and don't get me started on the food which was amazing. The only thing that I didn't like was that outside vendors are not able to go until the day off the event unless you pay a fee for them to go the day before which I paid for since I had stuff that needed to get done ahead of time. read more

Recently had my daughters quince at the chalet. Many pros & cons. Pros. Bosue was a pleasure to work with. Easy to get ahold of & was always available to answer questions. Made the process easy. Venue is beautiful & spacious. Staff was friendly. Cons. We had 175 guest. Hired 4 staff at $1,120. Bathrooms were never cleaned or stocked the entire night. Had to ask owner for toilet paper, seat covers & my mom had to ask for paper towels. Tables we're not bussed until late that evening way after dinner. We're told it might have been a good idea to hire more staff but 4 at $1,120 should have been enough to at least have toilet paper. Had many complaints from guest about how unkept they were. Also paid $480 in gratuity for bartenders upfront which is required only for there to be 2 tip jars for my guest to tip. Also dessert table was to be replenished by staff. Had at least 200 desserts & not sure what happened to all the rest given the fact that they didn't refill dessert station. With all that said I believe Chalet is a great place to hold your special event if you have the time to pay attention. Was just to busy to bring to anyone's attention the day of. Just be more aware of what you're paying for & making sure you're getting what you pay for. read more

I recently went to my best friend's wedding that was hosted here and when I tell you, I was astonished by how amazing and gorgeous the venue was how great the food was, and just how prepared and organized everything went. I've been to a couple weddings in the past and this is by far been my favorite one just from the ambience and how detail oriented it was. I later found out that they do everything was in house from the venue to the decor, to the food and to the drinks. Everything is the one stop shop, and I really love that and my best friend was telling me it was really easy to book and didn't have to worry about multiple people and having them show up at specific time. Alright folks, this is going to be a good one, so hold on! I called Bosque at The Chalet only 2 days before a surprise 80th birthday party for my mom. I told him at the very last minute as plans had recently changed and I was desperate to make the party happen. He was very thorough with questions on the food, guest list as well as decor. We spoke for approximately 20 minutes and he told me he would get back to me ASAP. Within 1 hour of our initial conversation, he called back with a very detailed explanation of what we had discussed. We agreed and he said that Juanita Quinonez (the owner) would be calling me immediately to talk about the decorations. I was so impressed with the ideas that Juanita came up with that I gave her a thumbs up to work her magic! The day of the surprise party, I brought my mom to The Chalet and all I can say is WOW!!! My mom was stunned not only by the friends and family that were there for her party, but she cried at the site of how beautiful everything turned out! Black & Gold, lights, candles, flowers and beautiful center pieces on each table. A huge lit 80 a the front of the room with family and friends singing happy birthday! PERFECTLY DONE!!! The service staff walked around with 2 delicious appetizers, stuffed mushrooms and mini Beef Wellington bites. Absolutely amazing! Dinner was served right on time and presented buffet style. Prime Rib and crab legs, I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Everyone loved the food and the service was outstanding! I can't say enough great things about The Chalet Events Center. From start to finish it was done with true hospitality and dedication to ensure everything was as EXCELLENT as we wished for! I'm so grateful to have met Jaunita and Bosue. I got married at the Chalet Event Center on Jan 15, 2022, and let me tell you it was AMAZING!!!!! The Chalet is a ONE STOP SHOP. Bosue was so professional and treated me like family!!! I would text him with a question and he would respond back in a timely manner. I used their in-house catering and the food was soooooo good people were going back for seconds. The service staff was professional and accommodating. We had hand-passed hors D'oeuvres during cocktail hour and all my guests love that. One of the best parts was we could bring our own alcohol, which SAVED US TONS on money. The bartenders were great and knew when to cut people off ;-). Now let's talk DECORATIONS... Juanita made my wedding magical!!!! she brought it to life. She has an eye and a passion for what she does. I also hired her to be my Day-of-Coordinator and I'm so glad I did. My wedding ran so smoothly and she made it very special. Every penny was worth how beautiful the results came out! Lovely Juanita & Bryanna helped me through the plan up until the party ended. Bryanna stayed in great contact with me & answered every question I had she also helped with event planning , and keeping up with the time line for the party which was so helpful let me tell you!!! Juanita went through the layout with me & also wrote down all my ideas and put it all together. She truly has a beautiful eye for decor! The Chalet Event Center is gorgeous inside and out! Bosue and his team are super communicative and friendly too. The attached photo is to basically give an idea of what part of the reception area looks like. My husband and I ultimately chose The Chalet Event Center as the venue for our wedding because we were blown away when we first did our initial tour of the place. The venue is also very affordable to rent (and includes a lot of items like tables, chairs, spacious parking, etc.) compared to other venues we checked out. I gave this review four stars instead of five (if I could, it's more like a 4.8/5) only because if you plan to have an event with more than 130+ people, the venue gets a little warm even though the AC was at 70° the whole time. I went Chalet for the first time. This place is amazing. It's gorgeous, clean and the surroundings are so beautiful.

My husband and I got married here on 5/29/2022. We looked at a ton of wedding venues before choosing this location and the Chalet checked all of our boxes. Here are a few reasons why we chose this place and had a great experience getting married there. 1. This is a family-owned business! Bosue the owner is super responsive and really cares about the couples. Most of the staff are a part of the family so they really care about the experience of you and your guests. It really shows in their hospitality and level of service. The bartenders we had (his niece) were so nice and sweet with our guests! And the wait staff were also fantastic. 2. They are super flexible. They allow you to bring your own catering in (but also have their own if needed) and best of all it's BYOB (bring your own booze). This alone was one of the reasons we picked them. Many of the other venues we looked at had food and alcohol minimums that were OUTRAGEOUS. We saved so much money just on that alone by going to Costco and spending $1000 to have a full open bar the entire night for our guests. Other venues would have been at least double that and that's not for beer and wine! 3. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and because of that really doesn't need much to make it come alive (good news for my brides - save a ton on decor). The ceremony area in May was so beautiful because all the roses were in bloom. The reception area is already so beautiful with the chandeliers and draping. 4. So very thankful for the workers and everyone at the Chalet Event Center. This was a prayer answered for my family and I because we thought we weren't going to be able to honor my uncle by giving him a memorial service because we couldn't find a venue. Everywhere I called kept turning us down due to Covid-19 but this place opened up their doors and we were able to give my uncle a beautiful farewell memorial service. The venue so beautiful inside and outside and Juanita and her son amazing to work and the staff were on it. So thankful for you all. SOOO glad we found the perfect venue for our baby shower! The venue was all inclusive and our coordinator Juanita was able to do our decorations as well and they did NOT disappoint! We had our son's baby shower last weekend and our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the service staff, decor, and how beautiful everything looked. The location was also a huge plus and very central right off of the freeway and there was plenty of parking. They also are a hotel but we didn't need any rooms it would however be convenient if I had a wedding here or needed a room to get ready in. Don't hesitate to book here because Juanita and her staff went above and beyond for us and her work truly spoke volumes! I had my grandfathers funeral at the Chalet event center and it was absolutely perfect. The space is huge, we had about 170 people, it was very pretty and the grounds were amazing. The food was able to be in a separate room which was nice because the caterer had there own entrance. Bosue was super helpful and was there the whole time if we needed anything at all. I was there for a wedding. They had 2 bartenders behind the bar. These so called bar tenders are more like 2 servers hired to tend the bar. They are not real bar tenders. They don't know how to mix drinks. Very misleading to call them bartenders. Beer was served warm and foamy. When warm beer is dispensed it will come out 90% foam and 10% beer. Someone forgot to keep the kegs under refrigeration. Huge disappointment.!! Great parties are in the details. Warm beer and badly mixed drinks are a big part of the success of a party. Now the bathrooms. The bathrooms are too small for parties above 100 guests. Not to mention that they did not have anyone check the bathrooms during the wedding. Garbage can overflows with use. Urine on the floor did not get cleaned up the whole night. You had to step in Urine to get to the potty. Nice place, bad help. Lastly the place is not kept very cool. The guy in charge was informed it was too hot inside. He just turned a fan on. This place needs to be kept cooler. read more

Words can not express my gratitude to Bosue and his staff. We chose the Chalet event center for my grandfathers celebration of life. We lost him unexpectedly and had very little time to plan the event. Bosue went above and beyond to ensure that my family and my grandmother were taken care of. He told us he would treat us like family and he really did. He took time to make sure my grandmother was happy with the event set up. He was kind and patient and went over all the options we could have. He took care to work with our budget and stayed in constant contact with us so we felt confident and secure that all was going to go well.
