I can't say enough great things about this wonderful venue. We've attended many events here, including Crab Feeds (various sport and school fundraisers), and our favorite being our church's Christmas Party. I'm such a huge fan of the rustic appearance and decor. It is PERFECT for any occasion, and we can sure cut a MEAN RUG on that dance floor. We danced all night at our last event (surprising even for us!) Superb event staff, perfect location. I've been known to shoot some photo sessions near here, as the backdrop is perfect. After booking my wedding at Newcastle Wedding Gardens, the owner suggested checking out the Blue Goose as a possible reception site. Admittedly when I pulled up I didn't think I'd like it; I like the look of metal fruit sheds but didn't know if it's what I wanted on my big day. Then I looked inside and saw it was indeed nicer than I assumed, *and* there's fruit crate art prints on the walls (I'm a sucker for old fruit crate art)... and Blue Goose was as good as booked! I loved having my reception there. It's a sizeable venue with a stage and high ceilings, so my guests never felt cramped or stuffy and there was plenty of room to dance. Plus it had great acoustics for my wedding singer. Highly recommend! read more

My girlfriends and I came here recently for a sisterhood women's event recently. It was really nice! The parking space is extended out on the dirt- leaving more room. The entrance had a front desk area- having this place for events; this desk helps with organization and help. The girl working that desk was super friendly and let me know exactly what to do. As soon as I walked the layout- it was lined with beautiful indoor plants everywhere. It was very elegant looking. The floor and ceiling was rustic/shabby chic/farmhouse looking with pine wood finishs. The tables were all placed out nice and neatly- it was easy to watch the presentation and eat my food. The tables had beautiful sconces that were modern and contemporary- all plants and table centerpieces were for sale. Nice perk! The stage was big and had a great sound system- it was easy to see and hear. I definitely enjoyed the event here- I would suggest the space and I would like to be back! read more

The Blue Goose makes a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception venue. It's perfect for the rustic, DIY wedding that is so popular now. There was plenty of room for all of our guests, and no restrictions on vendors. Pat was always available to answer our questions and definitely gave us peace of mind. There's a full service kitchen and bar, great size bathrooms, a stage, and plenty of tables and chairs! All included in the very reasonable rental cost. I would recommend the Blue Goose to anyone looking for a barn style wedding. We rented the space on a Thursday and Friday for our wedding. By far the nicest and most affordable venue in Loomis, Rocklin and Roseville. Working with Pat was a breeze, he met us there a few times before the date so we could measure. It has every amenity you'd need, CO2 for kegs, 3 taps, ice machine, great AC unit that keeps the place nice and cool in the summer heat. Kitchen, fridge, tables and chairs, this place has it all. Excellent place for an event. This place has seen every kind of event and it's in an adorable little town on the main street. The man who runs the place, Pat, is very agreeable and easy to work with. Make your plans soon because this place gets booked up fast, for good reason! Stage with curtain and screen for projector. Market lights already strung up. (very festive) Full kitchen for commercial or self catering. Restrooms. Back room and side room (great for wedding party). This appears to be a former fruit warehouse turned into a nice event center. Pretty plain, but certainly not ostentatious. Seems to fit into the locale. There seemed to be a second floor balcony and a stage. Plenty of room. Gravel surfaced parking lot next to the Center. Good for semi-casual events. read more

I got married here in May and it was perfect! It was the first and only place we looked at and the price was right in our budget with plenty of room for our 200+ guest. We had my family provide all the food and alcohol and the venue was prefect for that. There is a full industrial kitchen with bar and beer tap. Pat, the coordinator at the blue goose was great with being in contact with us and was prompt in answering any questions. The lady we emailed with was super sweet and even went above and beyond to check the Amtrak schedule to make sure no trains would be passing by during our ceremony. We did have a minor plumbing back up in the bridal room and with a quick phone call Pat was there within minutes to fix it. All in all this was the perfect place for our vintage country weddings. "A barn for my wedding, really mom?!" Actually - this was a great place to hold my wedding. Think of it as a blank canvas which we painted black and red like everything else in my life. Most interesting part of the evening: There is a secret room behind the stage. The only clues to who was back there was a cake plate and a little white stain. We had both our 7/2/16 wedding ceremony & reception at the Blue Goose and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is HUGE and being that it's an old renovated fruit shed, it has a lot of character and doesn't require any decorating for a rustic feel. It features a stage, full kitchen & bar, lots of bathrooms, a bride's room, a huge dance floor, and much more... The rental is very reasonable and comes with tables & chairs. We celebrated my dad's 80th birthday here and absolutely loved it. My husband and I own and operate Sharpo! Entertainment in Los Angeles. We have been to venues all over the country from the most humble to the most prestigious- producing events, so we have seen a lot of venues. We chose Loomis because we have a lot of family there and wanted to make it easy for everyone to attend. The Blue Goose is a beautiful space. Super clean and inviting that keeps true to its origins as a packing shed and character of the area while having all the equipment and comfort of creating a top notch event. Our event was on one of the hottest day of the year. The air conditioning kept us cool, even when dancing. Plenty of tables and chairs. Coolers and fridge with large capacities and a beautiful kitchen. There is a nice green room for dressing or taking a break. The stage is lovely. We used the side room for kids activities. We also used the projector for a slideshow presentation. Pat coordinated everything with us from Loomis as we were way down here in LA and he was very helpful. He even answered the phone on a Sunday (the event day) to give us some audio visual help. Very pleased. Wish there were such affordable and well prepared venues like this in Los Angeles.
