I had the most BEAUTIFUL wedding ceremony here!!…read more The staff at Cielo Estate is amazing to work with. I had a DIY budget wedding, and never in a million years did I think I could have my wedding at such a beautiful location. Rami worked with me and we were able to make the ceremony fit in my price range! The week before my wedding, rain was covering the forecast. I though for sure that we were going to have to move my ceremony indoors. Dave and I messaged/called back and forth creating a back-up plan for my wedding. It got to the point where my back-up plan sounded just as beautiful as my outdoor plan - I wasn't saddened by the thought of rain at all! It didn't end up raining, so we got to have our beautiful ceremony outdoors. Dave even saved the leftover flower arrangements from the wedding the day before us in their large refrigerator, and gifted them to us! We would have paid hundreds of dollars for arrangements like those. Not many occasions where your vendor will go out of their way to think about your special day and save/gift things to you. The extra greenery made my ceremony that much more stunning. They also let me use their GORGEOUS bridal suite for a few hours before the wedding, even though it wasn't in our original agreement. They honestly just wanted us to have an amazing day. You could tell they aren't money-driven. They just love what they do. All-in-all, I can't recommend enough. Rami and Dave made my special day more than I ever imagined, and Cielo Estate Winery is stunning.

Please look through all these pictures and if you have any questions, I know Sean and Steve will be more than willing to answer them over a glass of wine, and so will I if you send a message

I fell in love with Brookshire Gardens years ago when scouting locations for a corporate holiday…read moreparty. I've grown up here and love that the venue included one of the area's most historic homes. So I knew as soon as I became engaged, that I wanted to get married here. The ceremony site is simply gorgeous with its canopy of walnut trees and ivy covered arch; we only added a bit of decor to the start of the aisle as it was perfect as is. Booking a year in advance, didn't think we would have weather issues in late May but we ended up having to deal with a rainstorm. Kurt and Nina were awesome and let us set up tents last minute the Friday before so that they were ready to go on the big day. They even provided a pop-up tent of their own to cover our DJ. Even though we had to limit our decor to the minimal covered areas, our wedding was still the perfect day we had always dreamed of. Brookshire was reasonably priced (especially as it comes with all tables and chairs), spacious with a great layout that easily flows from ceremony to reception, naturally gorgeous (i.e. minimal decor needed and numerous photo ops), and close to town to avoid travel fees, yet still feels private and remote. Kurt and Nina were so sweet and easy to work with, you could tell by their enthusiasm that day that they truly love what they do. They were so helpful and also very prompt in returning our security deposit. Thank you for being a part of our forever!

We split the steak, carrots, and fingerling potatoes with an amazing sauce! There was enough for us to split it into two. The wine was amazing from local wineries, the waitress was sweet and friendly and had grear service. We will definitely be back to check out the outside area and I definitely recommend!!

Unique restaurant in a historic area that serves up traditional American fare. The main seating…read morearea is actually downstairs - there is one room that my friend calls the "cave" room, it opens up to an actual mine that was used. So if you like those Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes, then you would like sitting next to the mine for sure. It's roped off but you can hear the water dripping and it is naturally cool. The structure was originally built as a hotel in 1853 and has been well preserved. I ordered their Smith Flat House salad ($10) and the Jambalaya Risotto ($34) which consisted of Cajun-marinated prawns, lobster meat, Andouille sausage, grilled sweet corn with saffron chicken risotto. Definitely had a bit of a kick to it, the risotto was done well. My pet peeve is mushy risotto, it needs to have a slight bite to it which this one had thankfully. Love the fact that this place serves up local wines -- I couldn't recall the wine I had and they do not have their wine menu on their website. If you have the opportunity to visit, I'd recommend a glass of red from Starfield (winery up the road).

I do not think you are going to find a better spot for a country wedding in NorCal. We got married in October and it was perfect. There is a spot to get dressed if you need but there are also hotels close and you can take a limo to the venue. I do not want to spoil the place from pictures so I added just a few. You will not be disappointed!!!

We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!

I got married here in April 2018. We purchased and paid in full for the "all inclusive" wedding…read morepackage. I wanted this package so I wouldn't have to worry about paying for every single thing separately. Gwen assured me when we paid that I would get everything that they have to offer at the ranch. The inclusive package did not include any alcohol, the photographer or the farmhouse tables, and the package at the time only included 80 guests. So it was about $5,000 more that we had to pay for those things not include. Several things started going wrong after we signed the contract. It started slowing, then it all piled up at the end. From when we paid until our wedding date, there was only 4 months to plan my wedding. Gwen did not want to go over actual details of my wedding until 1 month before it. That had me extremely stressed out. Then we met with her and went over details, I was telling her exactly what I wanted, she made no notes as she sat there, but agreed to everything I told her. The week before my wedding she told me the flowers I wanted were too expensive and she couldn't do what I wanted. I told her she agreed to it and had to. Then the day before my wedding she told me that our wedding planner that I had never met would not be able to make it the day of my wedding. This was included in my package. In no way did she reimburse me for this. The day of my wedding nothing was organized. My welcome table was not set up, she had not purchased the sparklers that she was supposed to buy for our exit, so we didn't get to do that, her son was supposed to work the photo booth and book, that was a mess at the end of the night. My wedding did turn out absolutely beautiful BUT the stress and struggle that I had to go through with Gwen was not worth it. I did not get to enjoy my wedding because I was so upset with Gwen. I think Gwen can be very nice when she chooses to do so and she can be a complete b**** when she chooses. The frustrating part is she doesn't care if you're happy on your wedding day, she just wants the money. It's sad this is how she is. I would not recommend getting married here unless you just want beautiful pictures.
