But I decided to call AT&T in Lincoln Plaza anyways to see if they had the new iphone. As I prepared myself for a long wait time on hold, I was surprised that the store manager answered the phone on the second ring. She told me they did have the new iPhone and to come on in. As I drove to AT&T, I braced myself for a store full of tech bros, frustrated seniors, and perhaps screaming children. When I opened the door to AT&T, I was stunned and delighted to see that there was only one customer there and multiple sales associates available!! David helped me purchase my new phone. He was extremely accommodating, communicated wait times and inventory effectively, and overall had a friendly energy that couldn't help but make you smile. And it wasn't just me! As more customers came in, everyone in the store was laughing and chatting with each other. I was in and out in 30 minutes. As David helped me, the other sales associates did an amazing job of communicating and supporting customers as they, together, worked to resolve any and every issue that came up. The store didn't have something that I wanted and David recommended other stores that I could look at to meet my needs. I had prepared myself for wait times, angry people, and overwhelmed staff but the AT&T in Lincoln Plaza greeted me with a calm serene environment, exceptional staff care, and an overwhelmingly positive experience.
