I wanted to update my old review of this place, but I guess along with other scathing 1 star reviews, there were simply too many negative reviews of this place that either they paid to have it removed or there's a glitch in the system. Either way, I credit this store and its staff for pushing me to finally move back to Verizon. Thank you for pushing me to take that leap back. Terrible customer service. Ive been a customer at this location for many many years and always thought their customer service was decent, they were always upbeat and friendly. Today, when I went they didnt seem very engaged or even interested in helping with our complaint. It felt more like they were trying to get us out of there. I understand that due to COVID they have strict restrictions, but if they were at least friendly and have a good attitude I wouldn't have felt bad about going in. Now i feel like i just wasted time and my own safety going in to even ask a question. I always went here because it was closest to my house but now ill just find a different location or call for customer service. I was only here because of my friend who spoke to customer service the other day about getting a phone replacement due to a crack in the screen etc. At first, I was kind of skeptical because a phone rep will say one thing but unless there is written proof... phone retailers will not take our word for anything. Luckily, my friend's account had some notes that were written by the phone rep but... they missed out on the detail of an option she was told that she could opt for. The guy helping us had to call customer service and find out the details and was told that she was allowed to go with the option she was told. Aside from all those messes being taken care of, I had my own mind-boggling question to ask about the whole promo going on with canceling phone contracts with another provider and T-Mobile pays the termination fee?! The guy was somewhat helpful in assisting me with my questions and such. It was a good day at T-Mobile. No throwing tantrums or kicking people in the leg [as I tend to do... sometimes when I am frustrated. Just kidding]. read more

If you value your time and/or thorough customer care please avoid this location. Unfortunately this is the closest location to where I live so I ended up here-there is a clear lack of knowledge and training from the staff at this location. They were completely unable to activate an iwatch for my son (Christmas Gift) with a stand alone line-started out by them registering the watch as an iPhone 12. Then they proceeded to put the wrong SIM card into the watch. Then they sent us home for the second time with a watch that didn't work that I'm currently being billed for as if it did work. (No billing adjustments were offered). Update 1/5/2022-My wife went to their store today to try and get the iwatch connected to cellular so my son could use his new device. Store was closed on a Wednesday ALL day without a sign on the door or any change to their status online. I have also personally emailed the manager as per their request on google after posting my original experience with this location-And after 2 days have still not receive any correspondence from them via email...My wife spent an additional 3 hours on the phone with the DIGITS division of T-Mobile and they were FINALLY able to get this iwatch up and running properly as a stand alone line. This is shameful representation for what the T-Mobile name stands for this specific location. They should clean house or get trained to run a store properly. I'll NEVER go back to this location and neither should anyone else who values time/money/customer service. 11 days after Christmas my son is finally able to use his device as it was sold and intended to be. We've been customers for many years now and we have bought phones from them and they used to be very transparent with the charges and what are included. but our recent purchase of the bogo iphone 12 promo they have before, the guy that was assisting us just went and added some accesories that he said was included. He didnt even let us choose the case too so we thought that was the default one. Turns out we are paying for it for 12months and they didnt even want to do a full refund on it even if we offered to return it. the manager even blames us for not checking. What a scam. Terrible customer service. I went there today to buy a new phone. The sign outside states 8 person capacity. There were 7 customers waiting. I walked inside and started to browse the phones. Guy in a parking lot had locked his upset dog in a car, told someone in the store and they managed to find the owner and attend to their dog. Even though I've never been truly happy with my service with T-Mobile but I went there to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 5s. I ended up getting an iPad mini too after they sold me on it. Bravo, usually I don't give in to sales people. I spent about 3 hours in the store because I am so particular with everything. They thanked me multiple times throughout for being so patient. I can't remember the name of the sales guys that worked with me and I really wish I did because they were great. They were funny and down to earth and had the same sarcastic humor as me as we BSed back and forth. I honestly hate T-Mobile but these guys saved my business. They even called billing and talked to them for me, usually the stores just dial the number for me and hand me the phone which I hate. If I figure out their names I will update but I had a GREAT experience at this location. I had terrible experiences at a few Tacoma locations and HATE the ones in the malls but these guys were awesome. read more

Went in to pickup a device exchange worked out and agreed upon with customer care on the phone. It was VERY clear what the issue was and how to replace it. The technician was very responsive, understanding and helpful on the phone. Unfortunately T-Mobile stores, headquarters and customer care are completely disassociated, lack understanding, reasoning or compassion. This store absolutely failed to assist me, simply offering a no answer and that I could try calling customer care again because there was nothing they could do with my issue. While there I watched them also completely ignore several customers whom walked out due to lack of responsiveness and wait times. I highly recommend you trying a different store or even a different company... My last week of dealing with T-Mobile has certainly shaken my confidence in the company. I'd give this store a 2* overall but in the end it only gets 1* when taking the phone and online customer care experience into consideration as well. read more

I went in to this store to see about changing my plan over. I did the credit check, but decided not to use T-mobile. About 3 months later, I got a call from a collection agency concerning my T-mobile account. Someone had set up an account using my information and then not paid. Be advised, your personal information is not safe at this store. I have now spent several months with T-mobile trying to get this issue fixed, but they have been useless. It took 3 months of me calling them to just get the fraud packet sent to my real address. I have never had a more negative experience with a company before. I had went to T Mobile the other day to return an iphone 5c because my wife decided she would rather have an Android. As soon as I entered the store, I was waiting for 10 minutes before I was seen by anybody. An employee walked up to me with a clipboard and asked if I needed anything. I told him I would like to speak to representative behind a computer so I can talk to him while having access to my account. He told me that I needed to tell him what I needed to be seen for so I told him I was here to return an iPhone . He told me that that was going to be a $50 restocking fee automatically. To start off with, that is BS to charge a customer restocking fee when they haven't even had the phone for 24 hours. I informed the manager that I would prefer to continue this conversation with a rep that was at a computer. I was then told to calm down or I would be forced to leave the store. The entire time I was there, I never raised my voice, I never cursed, nor was I being even the least bit rude. I told him one final time that I preferred to talk to a rep behind a counter. I was then threatened to have the cops called on me if I did not leave the store. Confused as to why this jack*** is even threatening me in the first place, my wife walks in and convinces the jerk to back off and let me wait to speak to the desired costumer rep. I was finally greeted by another employee(this guy being the only respectable employee there). I ended up paying the $50 but I will never step foot inside that store again. I have been a loyal T-Mobile customer for over 5 years and I have never seen such hostility towards an innocent customer before. I will not be returning to this joke they call a store. T-Mobile truly is the worst in customer service. Apparently it is my problem that they are restructuring and I no longer receive a signal from home. Their solution....they will send someone out within 24 hrs, although he goes on to tell me it will be Friday or Monday (keep in mind it is now Wed). I'm also told that if, in fact, the signal is just no good anymore it is my problem and there is nothing they will do...except take my money for 1 1/2 years more ( my contract term) for a phone I cannot use unless I drive a few miles down the road. Hmmmmm. What stellar service, T-Mobile. Sign me up for a plan that I can't use but you CAN take my money. Oh, they did say I can give them $400 to cancel my two lines. When I entered this store, I was greeted and helped. I went in wanting a certian phone. The worker informed me that this other phone was on sale and was equivalent to the phone I wanted. It wasnt long when I noticed the pictures werent as good. This workers equivalent was a three mega pixel difference. i compromised and kept the phone. I had explained the three features important was the camera, storage and size. So I get a download to improve my phone. That one download took one fourth of my storage. I had to delete pictures, texts, and my choice apps and still not enough room. So again the worker tells me there the same. But instead of 8mega pixels I got 5. And the phone they told me was equal has 12gb less stoarge. And after four months my phone is obsolete. But they will sell me another one. After several calls and insults they are gonna replace both my phone's. But corp knew I was gonna call the store where it all started. As after finding my phone was not what she had said I checked my plan and she had misinformed us on that too. This worker gave her personal thought not the.numbers and stats. And the store manager didnt seam very compassionate for me just the worker. Hes not gonna retrain her and my impression of him was like a parent who thinks there kids can do no wrong. And he informed me corp cant do or say anything about his workers. And refused to talk to me told me to call corp. My service has been good and I see that all the issues began with this store. And that manager made thr remark that I was the one who bought the phone. And he is right I did and I thought I should be able to trust the person who was setting me up with the phone and the service. But his remark made me out to be an idiot cause I bought the phone and didnt look into it myself. Not sure how he exoected to make sure she gave me the service plan she quoted too. Cause she didnt. And there excuse was she ment roll over on my data not my hot spot. But there was no reason for her to say that about my data since its unlimited. She told us on hot spots were carried over for up to a year. But the store manager says were the ones we misunderstood her. Can't see how so much could be mistaken the phone wasnt even close to what she had promised and the plan was different too. I will never go to the store on 100th and bridgeport again. And hope this helps others from haveing ti take there time ti fight for what we are suppose to get. my wife has been a Tmobile customer for over 10 years. Since we moved to WA about 2yrs ago she's had nothing but problems with her phone/service. At first we thought it was her HTC smartphone so they told us to upgrade to a new Sony Xperia and that would solve all the problems we were having. Dropped calls, blurred calls and static. They told her it would be free, turns out it was NOT free, it was $600 and they rolled that into her monthly bill. Still with the new phone the same problems occurred, we took it back to the store several times, each time they swapped out the sim card, and 3 times they swapped out the phone with another sony xperia. Nearly 2 years later we still have the same problems but worst! Just now she got on the phone with a customer service manager and they said if you pay off your phone (we owed $63 bucks) then they'll give her a new smartphone, we asked to reimburse the $600 or similar but they said the best they can do was have my wife pay the $63 and get a different phone free. She's already contacted tech support and they switched her 4glte phone to only use 2g network.. WTF! we're switching to verizon tomorrow! T-mobile sucks ass! read more
