We had a great time at the comedy show taping at The Caverns. We did the cave tour in the afternoon before the show. It was well worth it great stories about how The Caverns came to be as a venue for music and comedy. I would definitely go see a show there again. It is really close to the interstate, 10-15 minutes, so really convenient to get there. read more

The Caverns is a beautiful cave where we were able to enjoy a show. My partner and I had never been before, and were very impressed by the friendliness and accessibility of the staff. The road to the cave is quite country, and we only got turned around once trying to find the cave. Once we found the location there was a staff member there immediately to direct us to parking, and lots of staff around that pointed us towards the cave. They had vendors and merchandise outside of the cave available for purchase (kettle corn and sodas, t-shirts for the show) and a very efficient check-in service for both tickets and security. The bathrooms were large and accessible, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the cave itself had a merchandise stand directly inside the cave (with the most beautiful posters I have ever seen). Now, I will say that I dressed in layers because I was warned that "this is a cave, it will be cold." However, the body heat of the crowd and the electronics used in the show certainly made sure that I was in fact removing layers rather than putting them back on. My only complaint is that the chairs were metal folding chairs, and the line to get to our seats towards the front of the stage got a little long (likely due to confusion over aisles). The people in front of me kept scooting their chairs back, and I had to ask them to scoot them forward a few times, but that is no fault of the venue. Overall, we had a wonderful time and it was very reasonably priced. I am looking forward to coming back again (perhaps for a winter show this time). read more

We attended a show at the caverns on 11/22/25. I was so worried about traffic, parking, long lines, etc. This was the least stressful venue we have ever attended. Traffic was light and manageable and parking was so easy. They knew how to get everyone through security, quickly and no stress! There were employees in every area. They got you parked, to where you needed to be and kept things moving and stress free. Even in a moment of a patron's medical issue, they were on top of everything! The show we saw was great. There really isn't a bad seat in the house! We are planning on going back as soon as a show we want to see is announced. We were a little nervous about actually being in a cave, but don't let that worry you. It is not like you are miles under the ground. You can actuall see the "stage" from the line going in. Go, have fun. It's amazing! read more

Super cool venue! Came into town to see Trevor hall and gone gone beyond. Never knew of this place beforehand but once I looked it up, I knew I had to go! Saw lots of deer on our drive there. Stayed at smokehouse lodge about 20 minutes away. Easy to access and wasn't overly crowded where it would of been uncomfortable. Cute bathrooms and great selection on drinks. The music sounded great in the caverns and the light visuals looked great! I would totally travel back again. Even grabbed myself a beer koosie and a t-shirt. read more

The Caverns should be a staple for all concert go-ers! The setup is as good as it gets. They have a very large and flat campground which also has areas for quieter campers and that's a huge bonus. Sometimes ya just want to sleep in peace and quiet and they offer that quieter camping area by request. The property itself is beautiful. The trail that you take to walk to the venue is awesome and well lit at night. The staff were so nice and respectful so treat them the same. The Main stage and underground cave stage is incredible, photos don't capture the vibe when you're there so just subscribe to the place for upcoming notifications and get ready for an amazing musical adventure. Had heard many good things about this out-the-way music venue, and for the most part, I was happy with the reality. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere. Yes, the weather can, em, put a real damper on the event. And, yes, it's not exactly accessible (lots of gravel in the parking lot, hills, uneven walking terrain). If you know all the obstacles and you are still up for adventure + music, I think you'll be happy with your IRL exprience, too. As other yelpers have noted: concessions moves fast plenty of space in the back to dance and maybe find a rock to sit on cool temps are quickly forgotten when people fill in We didn't get a chance to take the tour, so I'd to come back for that. Also, it should be noted that not all the up-coming shows are inside the cavern. This may be due to Covid, but some are set up outdoors nearby. read more

We went for a Marshall Tucker band concert, and we very much enjoyed it. The venue is unique but very intimate and there is not a bad seat in the house to see the show and the entertainers. The sound is very good and everyone we encountered seemed to be intent on making our visit as pleasant as possible. Getting into and out of the venue was very easy and everything runs smoothy. They have food trucks but only beer and wine in cans and I think that is most likely due to local law restrictions, we really had a good time and plan to return in the near future. read more

Super cool underground concert venue. We saw the Steeldrivers here. Amazing show! Acoustics were crazy good especially in a cave! Bathrooms were nice and clean. They have canned beer,wine and cocktails. Great brands. The bar was SUPER efficient and fast. Seats were padded folding chairs. Decent seating. Came here to listen to a concert, super cool venue inside a cave! It was a seated concert, and it was a competition among many artists so we got to hear a lot of different music which was interesting. Enjoyed it, although I think due to the acoustics, the sound blends together and each singer's words get blurred. I think it's due to the way the cave is, but I could be wrong. Such a cool venue though! There are also tours here, both for walking through the actual cave and adventure caving! read more

Camped for two days for recent EDM show. Brought a few gallons of water each because I knew they wouldn't have water available, but campground gave out a 6-pack at checkin. That was super nice. Port-a-poties spaced throughout campground were cleaned daily. Plenty available and dispersed well, so never a walk or wait. Food vendors were amazing locals. There was a sorta everything cafe, a chicken tenders and fries, and a BBQ truck. Super nice people. Fields Family guy even gave us a cup of coffee for free because it was an hour old and he thought we should only pay if it was fresh. Walk to the cave was spectacular. It's well lit, so no need for headlamp. Campsite is also well lit, maybe too much so. Cave venue was bucket-list worthy. Stunning! I'd heard mixed reviews on sound, but for loud EDM music, it was pretty wonderful. The pics make it look bigger. The shows here are small and intimate. With capacity requirements fairly low for standing room shows, there is plenty of room to spread out, making it easy to move around (so venture down to the stage at some point). No hydration packs allowed (only small but there are water stations with cups at the back by the bar- kept full and tidy. Also water for sale at the bar. read more

This place is like nothing else I've ever been to. Seeing a show underground is fantastic. The sound, atmosphere, and whole environment takes the musical experience to another level. You can experience shows in a natural setting any time of year and the temps are perfect! The outside amphitheater venue is awesome too for warmer weather. read more

Lots of space to camp and was very organized. Yurts are much farther away than vip camping. Bring starters for the firewood. Bring a bag to collect your garbage and chairs. It's a little trek to the caverns. Print your tickets before you go. Not always tons of food options. We only had two; sandwiches and poke. We've been wanting to check out this venue forever, and finally made it happen when we saw Dead South would be there! It was a fantastic show and the venue itself was incredible. So well maintained, not uncomfortable or difficult to enjoy like you might worry in a cave. The slope was perfect so that you could see from anywhere, even at 5'5. The restrooms were kept clean and were big enough to keep the lines down for the most part. The bar moved quickly. Will absolutely try to make it back here again! read more

This is a very cool location and a great concept/idea. HOWEVER, it's being run by incompetence and greed. A can of beer which cost $3.00 at the store 5 minutes from the venue, should not cost $14.00. This is literally the definition of price gouging and it violates several antitrust laws. I went to a concert 2 weeks ago, in which the beers cost 7 bucks. I purchased 4 beers that night. At The Caverns where they cost 14 bucks, I purchased exactly ZERO beers. And management should know, I've never been to a country concert with so few people drinking. And that's solely due to your ridiculous pricing. Furthermore, the bag policy is overkill, silly and out of control. Can't bring in bags bigger than a wallet basically. What a joke. read more

So fun! The cavern was so cool (literally) lol it was about 59 degrees in there and the temp was just right for me. Staff was very friendly and the venue was very clean. Be prepared to spend some money on the food and drinks. it was $12 for two sodas that were warm but other than that it was an amazing experience. read more

Had a great and easy time getting into #thecavernstn for the Garrison Keillor show in September '23. My father rides a mobility chair for long distances and it was super simple getting through security and to our seats. NO STAIRS, is what I'm saying. Been to a couple shows and I love the venue. Very cool way to see music. The cave always has a nice cool temp because it's a cave!! Love that they added an outdoor stage for bigger shows, Avett brothers was great. Also, adding camping to the property is amazing. I live in Georgia and the camping has opened the door for me to make it to many more shows. Moe. Just a few weeks ago was another fantastic experience. Hopefully I'll be back sooner then later. My Mom and I went to this newer cave concert venue to hear Arlo Guthrie and enjoyed it overall. We had both been to the original location where Bluegrass Underground is filmed. This location seems to be at the end of a valley. We drove down this windy little road after Monteagle and then ended up at the bottom of a wide gravel driveway like road. When we arrived, we joined several cars in a line to wait to be ushered in at 5. Then we drove up the wide gravel driveway like road and parked above the area where a new part of the cave is being excavated. If we had parked at the bottom of the road then we could ride a bus to the top. We walked into a cool looking metal shed like building to check in to get our wristbands to be able to enter the cave for the concert then joined the line of people until showtime. Once we entered the cave, we saw many different rock formations. Different colored lights highlighted them. The bottom of the cave seemed to be smoothed out though like pavement so was easy to walk on. Unlike the original location, there was no chandelier hanging from the ceiling. There were regular bathroom options and concessions inside the cave too. Drink prices seemed high, $7 for a draft beer. The space seemed smaller than what is supposed to hold 1,500 people, cozy. The stage is at the end of the cave room in the middle, just a little bit raised off the ground it seemed. The seating was padded folding chairs. The acoustics of the cave sounded amazing, almost surround sound. This was truly a unique concert experience worth repeating. read more

Me and my friend stopped by after seeing a billboard on our way up to nashville. We had a tour with Margaret and had the most incredible time. Being in the cave was one of the most surreal things i've ever experience and Margaret was so knowledgeable on everything we were seeing. At one point she shut the lights off so we could see what it would be like to be in a cave in pitch darkness which was equal parts cool and terrifying.
