Took this tour with our family today. Brenda was so funny and talented. I haven't laughed that hard in years. Just an absolute riot of a time. Loved every minute!

What a wonderfully funny and irreverent tour! Great songs reminiscent of the Andrews sisters harmony. So happy to Trash Nash with OG sistas

This was so much fun! The tour guide was hysterically funny, charming and knowledgeable. Really fun!! Highly recommend.

My only regret is that this was not the first thing we did right off the plane! These ladies drove us around Nashville and pointed out all the best local hot spots for food, music and fun activities. They are so tapped in to what is going on in every bar, club, and show venue. You could easily plan all your daily Nashville activities after taking their tour. Oh yeah, AND they are funny as hell. We laughed out tits off every minute of this tour. And they can sing! You could almost take their singing, for granted, because you're laughing so hard at what they're saying. Their voices are beautiful. Their knowledge of the music industry is amazing. so I fully recommend taking this tour wholeheartedly. It is a full Lovin spoonful and by the end of it, you will feel like family. What a great experience I will do it again.

Is this #1 item really recommended for teenagers? My search was for things to do with a teenager in Nashville.

Not really. The tours are more adult-oriented, with alcohol allowed on board. Kids 15 and under are not allowed.

Nashville Hop On Hop Off Trolley Tour [Nashville TN]…read more We booked online in advance a one day Nashville Trolley Tour and when we arrived on the scheduled day everything checked out good at the kiosk with no hassle. We usually ride a full loop before we tick off all must-see sights. A full loop took about 90-minutes with 13 stops. We joined the tour at Stop #7 in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame. There was a 20-min pause at Stop #1 at the Marathon Motor Works so I quickly did some shopping at one of the souvenir shops. We hopped off Stop #8 on Broadway to get lunch, this was where we spent most of our time. Most of the sites were non eventful, we were just riding around city streets. Time quickly went by that we didn't really have time to hop off the other sites to explore. By around 3:30 sometime in the afternoon we were told that they cannot guarantee that we would be dropped off at our desired stop which was Stop #7 and the best they could do was drop us off at Stop #6... from there we did our self-guided tour and drove to places ourselves. The driver was funny while he gave a live commentary. If you get Yung on your tour you will be entertained by his wit and sense of humor. This is not a double-decker bus. We were transported in a trolley. The seats were comfortable. Review #3887

It also doesn't hurt to have seen the Ken Burns Country Music production to add a bit of history and context to this place and Ryman. Auditorium. It's a decent Taxi/Uber ride out here (and back), with drop off and finding one to go back pretty easy. There are snacks and a gift shop here, but if you want to make it a dinner and a show, there are places nearby. Gayle and I, along with Erin and Jim attended the April 30 performance of Opry Country Classics. The Larry Gatlin (and Brothers) were the MCs, with the Opry band handling the backup music, and Charlie Mattos doing the folksy "Play by Play", all live on WSM (We Shield Millions) Radio. Performers were Janie Fricke, Hanna Dasher, Moe Bandy, and Daily and Vincent as the featured artist. It was a great show! We had a nice 4 seat pew near the front, the sight lines (direct and via screens) were clear, and the sound quality/mix was excellent. Daily and Vincent (with the guest banjo player) were fantastic and I've already preordered their next album. The only minor irritation was Hanna Dasher shamelessly promoting her cook book (Stand by Your Pan), but even that added to the high quality entertainment value of this show. I'd love to experience this again.

The Grand Ole Opry has operated out of several venues, and since 1974, performances have been in the Grand Ole Opry House; previously, it was the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville between 1943 to 1974. This year (2026) is a special year, as the Grand Ole Opry turns 100, and on February 28, 2026, there was a performance to celebrate 25 year anniversary of the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou?" The movie is well known for its soundtrack, and it introduced bluegrass music to a new generation. Performing were several artists from the soundtrack, such as Alison Krauss (my fifth time seeing her!), Emmylou Harris, Dan Tyminski, The Whites, The Fairfield Four, and the actor Tim Blake Nelson. There were also numerous other artists performing songs from the soundtrack such as Old Crow Medicine Show, Billy Strings, Sarah Jarosz, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, and many, many more. Even though I didn't know most of the performers, I really enjoyed the show. After the performance, there was a Q&A with Tim Blake Nelson, Dan Tyminski, and Chris Thomas King. She even provided the back stories of the historical churches & buildings we passed on our way to each location. She was sweet, hilarious, spunky and after telling her ALL 12 of our names just once - she remembered them all, the entire 3 hours we were together! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I'm so grateful we signed up - I honestly don't think we would have received the same experience of Nashville if we had just gone to these places on our own. We stopped off at 5 different eateries, all were pre-picked for us so we had no idea where we would be going. Unfortunately, not all of them struck me as worthy of a second visit but it was new to us (except for Prince's, we had stumbled upon them the day before, whoops) and I will say I'm not the biggest sweets fan but the Goo Goo cluster was the perfect way to end the tour!
