We had an amazing and informative Segway tour today! Avery was our tour guide and he was terrific! He is knowledgeable about the history of the area, pointed out numerous highlights of Nashville which will serve as return areas for the rest of our trip and was so funny! His humor and relatability were infectious. I highly recommend the 2 1/2 hour downtown tour!!

Had a wonderful time! Avery was our guide and he was very thorough and knowledgeable about the city! The segways were a great and fun way to get around town! My wife and I really enjoyed our ride with Avery and would highly suggest this to anyone looking for a fun filled couple of hours! We did the 2hr tour

Awesome time Very friendly group of instructors Patient, funny, informative. Saw most of the city which we would otherwise not have seen. Lots of fun Highly recommend iRide

This was the best Segway Tour ever! great customer service and the two guides were amazing. Brett, Larry and Jabob were informative, polite and funny. We got to see so many things, never felt rushed and had a super fun time. Highly recommend. Don't miss out, this tour is a must do!

Great way to learn about a city! Took the 2.5 hour tour. Tour guide explains about the area while you navigate throughout the city. Very nice workers. Equipment was well maintained. Fiat 30 minutes is training and safety. Enjoyed our tour!

I have to say, iride is one of the best experiences I've had while traveling. My girlfriend and I got Eric as a guide and he was patient, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and professional. We went during the winter where tourism is at its low and still, Eric was on point. If you're in town, I highly recommend this Segway tour for first timers (like us) and pro Segway riders (for the tour experience).

Our tour guide! The tour comes with 2 guides!!

Luckily one was near our hotel in the downtown are so we were able to walk and hop on. We hopped off at the Farmer's Market, the Marathon Factory and Midtown near the University. Nashville Hop On Hop Off Trolley Tour [Nashville TN]…read more We booked online in advance a one day Nashville Trolley Tour and when we arrived on the scheduled day everything checked out good at the kiosk with no hassle. We usually ride a full loop before we tick off all must-see sights. A full loop took about 90-minutes with 13 stops. We joined the tour at Stop #7 in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame. There was a 20-min pause at Stop #1 at the Marathon Motor Works so I quickly did some shopping at one of the souvenir shops. We hopped off Stop #8 on Broadway to get lunch, this was where we spent most of our time. Most of the sites were non eventful, we were just riding around city streets. Time quickly went by that we didn't really have time to hop off the other sites to explore. By around 3:30 sometime in the afternoon we were told that they cannot guarantee that we would be dropped off at our desired stop which was Stop #7 and the best they could do was drop us off at Stop #6... from there we did our self-guided tour and drove to places ourselves. The driver was funny while he gave a live commentary. If you get Yung on your tour you will be entertained by his wit and sense of humor. This is not a double-decker bus. We were transported in a trolley. The seats were comfortable. Review #3887

It also doesn't hurt to have seen the Ken Burns Country Music production to add a bit of history and context to this place and Ryman. Auditorium. It's a decent Taxi/Uber ride out here (and back), with drop off and finding one to go back pretty easy. There are snacks and a gift shop here, but if you want to make it a dinner and a show, there are places nearby. Gayle and I, along with Erin and Jim attended the April 30 performance of Opry Country Classics. The Larry Gatlin (and Brothers) were the MCs, with the Opry band handling the backup music, and Charlie Mattos doing the folksy "Play by Play", all live on WSM (We Shield Millions) Radio. Performers were Janie Fricke, Hanna Dasher, Moe Bandy, and Daily and Vincent as the featured artist. It was a great show! We had a nice 4 seat pew near the front, the sight lines (direct and via screens) were clear, and the sound quality/mix was excellent. Daily and Vincent (with the guest banjo player) were fantastic and I've already preordered their next album. The only minor irritation was Hanna Dasher shamelessly promoting her cook book (Stand by Your Pan), but even that added to the high quality entertainment value of this show. I'd love to experience this again.

Founded on…read moreNovember 28, 1925, it is the longest-running radio broadcast in US history, with over 5,200 episodes. The Grand Ole Opry has operated out of several venues, and since 1974, performances have been in the Grand Ole Opry House; previously, it was the Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville between 1943 to 1974. This year (2026) is a special year, as the Grand Ole Opry turns 100, and on February 28, 2026, there was a performance to celebrate 25 year anniversary of the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou?" The movie is well known for its soundtrack, and it introduced bluegrass music to a new generation. Performing were several artists from the soundtrack, such as Alison Krauss (my fifth time seeing her!), Emmylou Harris, Dan Tyminski, The Whites, The Fairfield Four, and the actor Tim Blake Nelson. There were also numerous other artists performing songs from the soundtrack such as Old Crow Medicine Show, Billy Strings, Sarah Jarosz, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, and many, many more. Even though I didn't know most of the performers, I really enjoyed the show. After the performance, there was a Q&A with Tim Blake Nelson, Dan Tyminski, and Chris Thomas King. She even provided the back stories of the historical churches & buildings we passed on our way to each location. She was sweet, hilarious, spunky and after telling her ALL 12 of our names just once - she remembered them all, the entire 3 hours we were together! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I'm so grateful we signed up - I honestly don't think we would have received the same experience of Nashville if we had just gone to these places on our own. We stopped off at 5 different eateries, all were pre-picked for us so we had no idea where we would be going. Unfortunately, not all of them struck me as worthy of a second visit but it was new to us (except for Prince's, we had stumbled upon them the day before, whoops) and I will say I'm not the biggest sweets fan but the Goo Goo cluster was the perfect way to end the tour!
