First helicopter ride and can't wait to do it again! Joel was professional and friendly from start to finish and took the time to answer all of my phone calls and ridiculous emails so I could decide what to book! A piece of advice: don't worry about it- he'll take care of everything! It was August and hot outside so he offered to take the doors off the helicopter and of course we said yes! I think we flew for about an hour and we barely uttered a word because we were so excited and in awe! Luckily Joel is a great conversationalist and explained everything we were seeing and kept up the chatter! Very safe, very reliable. 10 stars if I could, this is a MUST DO in Nashville!

Ian and Grant were absolutely f*#%ing amazing. If you're in Nashville and do this, you're doing it wrong. This was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. Sign up. Come do it. You won't be disappointed.

Ummmmm can I give them 10 stars??? This was an absolute amazing experience and to have Joel as our pilot and tour guide made the experience even more worth while. It's a short trip but it's worth every penny. The guys were so nice and informative about everything prior to the trip as well as when we were in the air. Next year we are definitely doing this trip again. Thank you guys for making a memorable experience for my boyfriend and I.

The staff here was very friendly & enjoyable to chat with. We were a little bummed because we booked a flight over the downtown area and didn't find out until we arrived that there was a flight restriction over the downtown area due to a game at the stadium so our flight was rerouted to the Opry mall area. The scenery wasn't as pretty and it was mostly flying over residential houses. It was fun though, and I definitely think we will fly again when we can actually fly over downtown. Our pilot was great. He was chatty, calmed our nerves, and gave us great recommendations for "things to do" in Nashville. I definitely suggest calling before you book to check flight restrictions :).

We were greeted as soon as we entered by Tessa, who was very friendly and professional and made us feel welcome. Our pilot Brook was fantastic. You can definitely tell he loves his town and his job. Definitely give their tours a chance, you won't be disappointed

What an amazing time! Our pilot personable, friendly, and informative. All staff were very welcoming! It was my girlfriend's first time in a helicopter and she loved it! So much so that we are doing it again before we leave.

Future Pilot thanks to Brook!! Yay!!!

"WOW WOW WOW!!" Is what our family thought after our trips (we booked 2 helicopter rides) on 7/25/21 !! Brook our pilot was AMAZING! I believe we paid 105.00 a ticket for a 20 min fly over Nashville Tennessee but we would of easily paid 205.00 a ticket now that we know how great it was. From the min arriving the staff was already super sweet always keeping us informed. I can't recommend this company enough GOOOOO it's worth every dime & more if possible book with Brook as he was pilot on both our tours and everyone loved him very much ! Thank You Helistar Aviation for a wonderful & memorable experience!

Absolutely loved our experience with Andrew! We wanted to find something special for our trip to Nashville (with mom for the bday) and Helistar exceeded all expectations. The flight was beautiful and safe, we got to see all of the staples of Nashville during our 20 minute tour, and learned a lot of high-level history about the city. We had no issues with motion sickness so it's friendly for all and easy to find. Book a tour with Andrew on their website now!

Excellent customer service and facility! Went here for a 10 year anniversary. The staff was in on the surprise !!! Awesome time

The spa day was very relaxing. We enjoyed yoga, sound bath, mineral pool, and couples massage. January - We did the chef's tasting menu. The dishes were unique, and included a few ingredients I had not had previously. It was good, but not as good as other Nashville Michelin star restaurants we've tried. The service was slow for our preference. The server was not as attentive as we'd like, and we would have enjoyed learning about the food and the seed to table preparation. Also, most nice restaurants do something special for an anniversary, like give you a special menu or take your photo for you. They just said "Happy Anniversary" when we sat down. It was a little off putting to hear a chef yell "VIP" for someone's order as well. The meal took over 2 hours. For the price, I don't think we'll eat there again. In Room Snacks & Drinks - The dip with pita and veggies and afternoon drinks were great. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Joyburger - The food truck had a simple menu. We tried it all, and it was delicious! Breakfast in Bed - The breakfast food is overpriced for what you get. It tasted fine. Sojourner - Really nice dinner. Well prepared, good service, high quality food. Appropriately priced. The Inn gave us a nice note and treats for our Anniversary. The spa also gave us a gift bag for our Anniversary. All the staff was professional and attentive. They were able to accommodate early check in and late check out so we could enjoy two full days on property. Highly recommend the spa experience. We'll likely return.

Southall has built a luxury destination, but it hasn't yet created a consistently luxury…read moreexperience. Today's traveler doesn't define luxury by exclusivity alone. Beautiful architecture, thoughtful landscaping, and premium amenities may attract people initially, but they aren't what create lasting loyalty. Modern luxury is about how a place makes you feel through thoughtful hospitality, meaningful experiences, and the sense that what you just experienced couldn't have been replicated elsewhere. That was the disconnect I felt. I booked a private sound bath for a group because Southall seemed like the perfect setting for my birthday. Visually, the property exceeds expectations. Every building, pathway, and landscape feels intentional, and it's clear an incredible amount of care and investment went into creating such a beautiful environment. Many members of the team reflected a high level of hospitality. The valet staff and front desk team were consistently warm and professional, and the gentleman overseeing the mineral pool left a lasting impression simply by remembering my name after a brief interaction. Those moments felt personal and thoughtful, and they are exactly what luxury hospitality should feel like. The setting itself is also undeniably exceptional. Southall has created an environment that feels immersive, intentional, and visually refined at every turn. Unfortunately, the central experience we came for did not reflect the same standard. Before the session even began, a staff member assumed I was pregnant and told me I couldn't use the sauna or steam room. While I'm sure no harm was intended, comments like that can be deeply personal, and luxury hospitality should never make assumptions about a guest's body or medical history. The sound bath itself also fell short of expectations. The soundbath practitioner was warm and welcoming, and I genuinely enjoyed the portion she led. My concern wasn't with her, but with how the experience was structured. A significant portion of our scheduled hour was reserved for tea and group reflection rather than the sound bath itself. The environment also worked against the experience. Conversations from the hallway were frequently audible throughout the session, making it difficult to stay fully immersed in what should have been one of the most restorative parts of the day. Even smaller operational details reflected a lack of polish. At the bar, our group ordered several cocktails together under one ticket. By the time the last drinks were served, the ice in the first cocktails had already melted noticeably. In a truly luxury environment, there is an expectation of pride in craft at every level, often including remaking a drink rather than allowing it to degrade before it reaches the guest. It's a small detail, but luxury hospitality is built on getting the small things right. What disappointed me most is that I left feeling I could have booked a sound bath with a local wellness studio, had a deeper and more meaningful experience, and spent a fraction of the cost. Southall offered the more beautiful setting, but not the more memorable experience. I share this because I genuinely believe Southall has the foundation to become exceptional. The property is extraordinary, and many members of the team clearly care deeply about their guests. My hope is that the same level of intention evident in the architecture and landscape will eventually extend into every layer of the guest experience. When that alignment happens, Southall will be a destination.

I worked with Ta-Tanisha to plan a milestone birthday trip that took me and my partner to Egypt,…read moreand then she arranged my travel on to South Africa so I could meet up with friends and continue my journey. This was both a bucket list trip and a major celebration, and she made the entire process easy and seamless. From start to finish, her communication was top tier. Every detail in Egypt was handled, including flights, transportation, hotels, and excursions, so all we had to do was show up and enjoy. We had VIP-style treatment throughout: drivers waiting for us, support through customs and security, and concierge-level services that removed all the stress that usually comes with travel. That alone was worth it. The hotels she chose were excellent, and the excursions lined up beautifully with our goals for the trip. I checked off so many bucket list experiences: standing before the Pyramids and the Sphinx, seeing King Tut's treasures, watching the sunrise over Luxor from a hot air balloon, sleeping by the Nile, and even doing a flying dress photo shoot at Giza. Every guide, driver, and on-the-ground partner she connected us with was professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip even more special. She also anticipated the little things that made a big difference. Since we had an evening flight leaving Luxor, she arranged for a later checkout, and the hotel was so accommodating that they even offered us an extended stay option for a very reasonable price. That allowed us to relax at the hotel, spend time by the pool, and unwind before my partner flew back to the U.S. and I continued on to South Africa. What stood out most was how attentive she was at every stage. She checked in on us before we left, while we were in travel, when we arrived, during the trip, and even after we got home. She also made sure all the vendors she worked with took care of us and lived up to the same standard of service. I honestly could not have planned a trip like this on my own without pouring in a huge amount of time and energy I did not want to spend. With Ta-Tanisha, everything just flowed. I recommend her to anyone even considering travel, because she does not just plan trips, she delivers unforgettable experiences.
