The catch has the best fried catfish in DFW. The service is very friendly and reasonably fast. When you get your food too fast it's not going to be good. The restaurant is very clean with a Louisiana style. I recommend eating it there. Most fried food doesn't eat well after sitting in a container for any length of time. read more

5/14/25 I was in today and had a cup of gumbo and order of fried okra. The fried okra was average, it was good and fried well, just not a lot of flavor to it. The gumbo was absolutely horrible. One of my lunch mates had it also and agrees. It was burnt the room was dark and tasted burnt, there was no visible okra in it, when I brought this to the attention of the workers I was told that it was boiled down so the okra was not visible. I had about two or three bites and had to push it away from me it was not palatable my lunch mate did not eat there's either. On the way out the door I saw a table with two women that had it also, and they also were telling the woman that works there, that it did not taste good at all.
