Potato Encrusted Cod

Ate outside, warm night. Thursday's they have a singer who was very good, they also have oysters on Thursday's for $1.00, which were excellent. Food selection is good, service was excellent. The dinner was superb! Plenty of tables on the patio area for outdoor dining. Highly recommend this spot.

As a life long cape cod visitor I have longed for a restaurant that served more than the usual "cape" food- at last I found the cape grill Food is world class- farm fresh ingredients, superb blend of tastes and textures and well presented. Outstanding service, great staff, diverse yet reasonably priced wine selections, including multiple old world wine options No place better on the Cape!

Chef Tim Miller from The Glass Onion is the chef here now. My husband and I went Saturday night and sat at a high top in the bar. They have remodeled the entire dining area over and it is gorgeous. Nice comfortable furnishings with TVs, a large bar area and dining in other rooms if you don't want to sit in the bar. Ron, our waiter, was excellent and very attentive. The food here is wonderful. Go for one of the steaks. They are fabulous! I had a filet and my husband had a sirloin. Everything is fresh and home made. And if you don't want a big meal you can order a burger. I highly recommended this restaurant located in the old Ballymead resort.

The Cape Club is a must if you are in Falmouth or anywhere on the Cape! The staff is great in every area of the club from the golf shop & driving range to the Cape Grille restaurant! We had a wonderful time at the driving range. There range was beautiful. We went to The Cape Grille after hitting balls at the range. The Cape Grille was fantastic! The food was the best we have ever had on the Cape! The steak was cooked to perfection! The desserts were unbelievable! The cheesecake melted in your mouth! Everything was perfect!

Can't wait to come back. Amazing food and arrive. Ron- you are the best!

Ron is the very best! Professional and entertaining! Fabulous service and food. Prime rib and salmon and pork chop best ever. We are local and will be coming back lots! Amazing food and service! Sullivan's and Clay's

Looked at many choices for our first night in Falmouth. This was a great choice! We didn't know…read moreit, but it was their first night re-opening too. We got both fresh offerings of oysters to start.- so good. For beverages, I had a Maine IPA & Kate had a pear pressure. We really enjoyed them both. Kate got the Seafood Pot Pie. The good news is we try each others meals. An absolute home run! The scrod, lobster, scallops and shrimp were perfect. Add in Newburg sauce asparagus and spinach, top it with a puff pastry to soak up the sauce-10 out of 10. There is a reason it's a house favorite. I had the baked seafood trio. Shrimp, scrod and scallops, with baked potato and asparagus. 2 u-15 shrimp, 3oz of fresh Chatham scrod and 3 local scallops, done in a lemon beurre blac. A small portion of each but delicious. The baked potato was just like you would hope. Asparagus was underdone, by our tastes, but not knocking the rating over that. Overall 8/10. Will try the blackened mahi mahi next visit. Kate's not budging from the seafood pot pie Our server Taryn was nice and busy. They have runners who are all over the place. Owner? out picking up plates and checking every time to make sure we were happy. Nearly half of my life was spent in the front of the house-that's how I treated every person I encountered in my establishments. This place was crazy busy. Every server, food runner, host etc had a genuine smile. Customers were happy, among them, many locals. Our take; if you are here for a few days or a while, make it a point to enjoy a meal here. Pretty confident you'll be happy you did.

Standard New England seafood and pub fare here, with the standard decor expected of a Cape Cod…read moreseafood restaurant: dark wood beams, nautical themes (lobster shells and horseshoe crabs on the walls, fish nets, etc.) Some Santas and elves too because Christmas was coming. In my experience one can tell a lot from a restaurant's name. With cliche names like "Quarterdeck," "Fisherman's Catch," etc. it's almost guaranteed to be average at best. I don't know why but it's usually true. I got a clam roll which turned out to be a mistake. I got it because I wanted a smaller portion than the platter. But the clams were oversized for a roll and too few in number so it was hard to eat. Good for a platter but for a roll, smaller clams and more of them would be better. But the clams though were fresh, cooked correctly, and the batter was decent, not outstanding. The roll was toasted and buttered, and a small lettuce leaf completed the sandwich. My biggest complaint was the tartar sauce, homemade, which was a disaster. Tasted of little more than plain mayonnaise. Unfortunately the fries were almost room temperature. I wasn't going to say anything but when the waitress came by and asked I told her. She apologized, took them away, and returned with a new platter of fries, a very large portion, and scaldingly hot. I was no longer so hungry but ate a good fraction of them, as leaving them after she brought a replacement just seemed rude. They weren't very good though; greasy and the oil didn't taste fresh. To drink I had a "mocktail" version of a Moscow Mule. It was way too sweet. Without the bite of alcohol it needed something else to tone down the sweetness. It wasn't cheap either. I should have just had a plain ginger ale. I would recommend trying someplace else instead. Lots of choices in the area.

Stopped in on a Saturday night to catch Silent Trees, and wow -- the place was buzzing. Packed wall…read moreto wall with a lively 40-50+ crowd that clearly knows how to have a good time. You could feel the energy as soon as you walked in. The bartenders were definitely in the weeds most of the night, but you'd never know it from their attitude -- still friendly, still smiling, and somehow making me feel like I'd been coming there for years (first visit, by the way). Grabbed a veggie pizza (solid choice), a cold beer, and settled in for a couple of hours of great local music and that perfect "this is exactly where I'm supposed to be tonight" vibe. If this is what a random Saturday looks like here, I'll be back.

Review: Jack's Restaurant and Bar - A Tale of Two Temperatures…read moreIf you're looking for a spot in Falmouth where the vibes are high but the Celsius is... conservative, Jack's Restaurant and Bar is your destination. I went in with high hopes and a healthy appetite. Here's the breakdown of our culinary "Goldilocks" experience--except nothing was actually hot. The Order The Boneless Ribeye: This steak was seasoned to perfection and tender enough to make a grown man cry. It had the soul of a five-star meal, but the temperature of a brisk October morning on Old Silver Beach. I'm convinced the chef cooked it beautifully and then gave it a pep talk in a room-temperature hallway for ten minutes before sending it out. The Scallops: My companion's scallops were seared wonderfully. They looked like little pillows of heaven. Unfortunately, they were also roughly the same temperature as actual pillows. Delicious? Yes. Did they require a scarf? Possibly. The "Lukewarm" Mystery It's honestly an impressive feat of physics. To have a crust that crisp on a ribeye and a sear that golden on a scallop, yet have both arrive with the thermal energy of a glass of tap water, defies the laws of thermodynamics. Pro Tip: If you're the type of person who always burns their tongue on the first bite, Jack's is your safe haven. You can dive in with the reckless abandon of a seagull hitting a discarded fry. The Verdict The food at Jack's is legitimately tasty. The flavors are 10/10, the bar scene is lively, and the service is friendly. We didn't even send it back because, frankly, we were too busy enjoying the flavor to care about the lack of steam. It's the only place I've been where the "warm" welcome applies to the steak, too. Final Score: (Four stars--would have been five, but I had to check my ribeye for a pulse to see if it was hibernating.)

I had been working with Aja for about 10 months before my wedding and she had made the process as easy as it can possibly be. She assured me that her staff members were very professional and able to decorate the venue in a way I would love. I would recommend working with her again! We had our ceremony on the beach and it was set up like something out of a fairytale. We were blessed to have a beautiful day without any clouds in the sky, but even if it wasn't perfect weather, the ceremony was gorgeous either way. I am very meticulous and I did leave detailed instructions for her staff to follow and they followed it to an absolute t. I have confidence that even if I didn't leave instructions, the venue would've been set up nearly perfect. The food at our wedding was delicious, we had steak tips and chicken piccata. The appetizers were great, although I didn't get to try all of them because we had to take pictures. My only complaint is that I wasn't able to help set up the venue the night before my wedding. That would have eased a lot of my nerves, but nonetheless, her staff did a phenomenal job making the venue stunning!
