I stocked up on coasters and shot glasses. Many designs to choose from. Aside from all the cool souvenirs, they also have a candy store within. They carry jellybean, chocolates and many boxed novelty candy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. As we purchased over $100, we got a cap and shopping bag as gifts. If you're on a cruise and are looking for places to shop, this store has the best prices!

Whereas this store distinguishes itself from the others as it proudly sells Alaskan-made products. I was looking for some Alaskan-made soap and was able to find it here, as well as a beautiful coaster with native art of a crab on top. If you are looking for a standout souvenir shop in Ketchikan, I would recommend shopping at Blasphemous Bill's.

Some of the goods are local, but not many, and you'll pay a nice markup due to the shop's easily accessed location. The shop is large, clean, spacious, and well organized. This could easily be your one-stop-shop if you're looking for Alaska souvenirs. They have keychains, shot glasses, t-shirts, stuffed animals, tote bags, rain gear, snacks and sweets and more. Sockeye Sam's also has the largest selection of raincoats, umbrellas, and sweatshirts, all staples that a lot of cruisers often forget to pack. I appreciate that the store sells various sundries (Advil, bandaids, etc.) and small toiletries, too. If you're arriving in Ketchikan via cruise ship, you will walk right by this store. They pretty much have everything you need to take goodies to the folks back home. Pro tip: visit a local grocery store if you want to find really cool Alaska souvenirs. I've purchased locally made hot sauces, candies, and other goodies for a fraction of the price that they're sold for in tourist stores like these.
