    Biscuit Sandwich

Walking around town, we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat some where. The smell of smoked pork filled the air and our noses led us here. The owner is very animated, friendly and I "think" his young daughter was sitting in the place saying hello and chatting it up with guests. She was super cute whomever she was. I would come back just for this Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich! House made butter biscuit, thick cut smoked bacon, and an egg. This definitely was delicious!!!!

A very nice and very popular coffee shop located in downtown Ketchikan. My latte was well-made and quite tasty! The shop itself is a bit on the rustic side with a very casual and comfy environment. It has both inside and outside Terrace seating where the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great place to check out and take a break especially if you are a fan well made coffee drinks.

BLT with a gluten-free special order bun

This place was recommended by a local artist, and it was a great recommendation. Very friendly service. Nice cozy atmosphere. Our friends enjoyed their carrot spice bisque very much. My wife's gluten-free BLT was excellent. Their Mocha was good as was their coffee. I had a very good grilled cheese sandwich. It was pricey - but it in a tourist area on Alaska, so should be expected. Check them out.

Used to be 55 North. New owner, new paint job, better hours, awesome vibe, good coffee, awesome treats, including proper English Scones! The new owner Sam was in, so friendly with a lot of energy. This is a place worth seeking of. A bit of the beaten path but close to the ships, FD, Creek Street, etc... I like to seek out local coffe shops owned by locals living in town. Always more fun and as here often a wonderful experience

Very friendly service and good food! We also had apple cider, lavender and hazelnut lattes that were perfect. Cozy and warm atmosphere, especially with cold wet weather.

Very charming coffee shop with a nice heated outdoor patio and playhouse for the kids! My vanilla latte tasted incredible and the employee's were so kind and joyful. Must stop on your cruise if you're looking for a good coffee shop!

I visited a few days ago and will definitely be back when I visit Ketchikan again. (Locals - they have a local discount!) The food and friendliness of the staff made me feel at home, and the cozy outdoor porch was a lovely break from my busy day. I had the tuna melt combo with a Snickerdoodle cookie, and a savory scone to go for breakfast the next day. The baked goods were mouth-watering good.

Best coffee we have had in three days. Sam was a delight! Greeted every guest so warmly, like you were going to his home for a coffee. Can't help but adore his sweet British accent and even sweeter demeanor. He found out it was my daughter's birthday and gave her an upgrade to her drink and free cookie- no sharing with mom lol- birthday girl only. Food here was very reasonably priced- especially considering the prices of everything else around this location. It was a really cool, cam, relaxing vibe and we didn't want to leave. It was raining outside and the hot coffee, warm energy and sweet sounds just hit perfectly. Everything we had we loved. I had a breve with hazelnut, one mocha, one hot chocolate and one americano with sugar free vanilla and cream. Soooooo good. Sick of ship coffee- then go now! It's really close to creek street so make sure to stop in and see these guys. You won't be disappointed.

It's all good, especially the breakfast biscuits, they are open year round, the staff is fantastic. If they have it try the pulled pork.

So we stocked up on items worth over $200 total, including some gifts for our friends. Then, on the way out we saw another shop just around the corner and decided to see if we could get a few more things. Well... that other shop had mostly the same items but at much lower prices. In the most extreme case, we're talking the same exact item (brand, size, and packaging) costing $5.95 when we just bought several of those at the Salmon Market for $16.95 each! I could understand a $1-2 price difference between different stores, but this was ***3x the price***... We went back to see if we could return them so we could buy them at the other store, and Salmon Market ended up price matching which means this item was never worth anywhere near that price and they absolutely knew that. This left a sour taste in our mouths and I suggest you shop around 2-3 other stores before buying anything there.

Some staff were pretty rude to the folks in our group. I reserved a certain Type of room from our room block and the guy at the front rudely dismissed my request to move. We had packages delivered for our event at the civic center and i twice inquired at the front desk only to be told they didn't have them. The boxes included items to be used at our event. When my co-worker showed me the confirmation email that they arrived a day before us, we went back. But were told again that there were no boxes in the back and the staff refused to go back to look. We hailed a guy (worked in the restaurant) and asked if he could look. He did and the boxes were back there. The room was ok but house keeping didn't clean my room because I had "personal items" on my bed. A couple days into the trip. I felt a bite on my leg in in the middle Of the night. By the time i check out (5 days) I had a number of bites. Not to mention, I only got hot water for about 1/2 my stay. The van driver was awesome, restaurant staff, as was Melissa at the gift shop. The hotel was nice but could improve a lot if the staff was trained and address the possible Bed Bug problem.
