We happened on The Candy Cave, which is located downstairs as you walk along Sacramento street. Lots of yummy treats besides candies in big barrels. They have ice cream and some sodas. Of interest, there's an old McDonald's gumball machine here. Friendly service. Located on Sacramento and Brewery Lane. #1300.

We loved this place! Great selection of candies and other sweet novelties at a great value. This is also a lovely little gift shop! I like to support local businesses and while this joint does not offer scooped ice cream, there are premade ice cream sandwiches and huge cones from another local business that are sold in the freezers here. Great and friendly service from the business owner as well. I bought some locally sourced honey here and as a result have now discovered another gem to support in the area! "The Bee Box" sells items here and I fell in love with their unique blends of honey flavors. We got some ice cream sandwiches here - strawberry cheesecake, birthday cake, and lemon - and boy they were delicious! HUGE, but tasty and decadent quality nonetheless! Also, as a side note... our drive back to Sac was about 45 min from here. I could only eat half of the ice cream sandwich, but by the time we got home after those 45 mins, the big remaining half of the sandwich was still cleanly frozen! I popped it into the freezer and enjoyed the rest of it later. We didn't even put it in a cooler or anything, plus it was a hot day. So if you don't finish your ice cream then don't worry because it won't melt fast.! I'll definitely be coming back here next time I'm in town!

Unbelievably delicious homemade ice cream sandwiches and candy! Inside you can grab a bag and fill it with any candy you want, plus they have so many fun vintage packaged treats to choose from. The shop also has a few tables with games so you can sit, relax, and enjoy your treats. The owners are a wonderful mother-and-son duo who make the place feel extra welcoming. Such a fun spot to visit!

While exploring Auburn's main street area I saw a sign for a candy shop, so naturally, I had to go and check it out. There were barrels of candy and lots of freshly made truffles and treats in the glass cabinets. Now, I went twice and the second time the owner was there and let me know that most of the chocolates in the case are gluten free so that was nice. Obviously the rice krispies, pretzels and cookies were not gluten free but it was nice getting to try some other items. They also have some plush and tourist type items. It was a fun discovery.

The super cute entrance at the bottom of the stairs! It quite literally feels like a cave. Such a special hidden gem

Stopped in our way home from Tahoe and had a great experience. Super cute little shop with candy barrels, handmade chocolates, ice cream sandwiches, old fashion candy, a whole wall full gummies in jars and more! The lady who owns the place was SO kind and helpful and her hospitality was unmatched. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Super quaint and great place to take your kids (as long as you're willing to have them have a big sugar rush after!)

Their own gift shop was closed but suggested and referred me to Petals and Sweets. I called them and spoke to the owner explaining my situation. I was interested in a silly stuffed animal. She texted me immediately pictures of her animal collection. I picked one out- and cost of item and delivery was most reasonable. I told her that I would call back in the morning and place the order. I was told by my son, that my granddaughter would most likely be in the hospital for several days! SURPRISE!!!! The next morning her condition had drastically improved and she was marked for release. I hurried and placed my order again talking to the store owner. She was now aware of the soon to be release. SURPRISE!!!! Within 15 minutes my son announced they had released my GD ... I called the store panicked. Because the owner had no drivers yet for delivery, she herself, personally delivered my gift .... Straight to my GD's room. The owner dropped everything, closed her business to deliver a goofy colored bird for a total stranger living in Las Vegas! If that's not exceptional care, service and kindness nothing is. If anyone reading this book needs flowers, gifts, candies delivered in this shop's area...... you'll be delighted you gave your business to Petals and Sweets.

I specifically asked for ZERO greenery and sent in pictures of bouquets with zero greenery and there was about 50% greenery. I also asked and sent photos that I wanted a more flat bouquet and it was round. To top it off I provided them with ribbon I wanted used as well as a picture and the ribbon was not used because they said my white satin ribbon would not look good. My bouquet was picked up right before my first look and my family had to fix my bouquet and tie ribbon onto my bouquet. There was zero apologies from the owner and she blamed her daughter for not wanting to tie the ribbon.

There are also some samples of their dips and granola from the last time I went. All of them tasted pretty good! This place is always a great stop while you're on the road.

I love that there is an area to try samples of some of the dips before purchasing! We ended up taking home some dried strawberries, coconut cream pie slice, Dutch apple pie slice, and some seasoned corn nuts. All of the items we purchased were perfect. After we finished at the store we walked down to the attached restaurant! The line went fast and despite the amount of people there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We got our food and it was amazing. The wagyu burger was perfectly cooked, the fries perfectly crisped, and the strawberry shake was a great thickness. Now my partner and I are sending people to ikeda's market too! We've decided to make this a staple next time we visit the town over! Do yourself a favor and stop by!

Stumbling into this establishment, we didn't realize they had already closed, but the guy behind the counter was nice enough to make us a sandwich anyway. Pastrami Kraut Melt 5/5* If sandwiches had dreams, they would be an Auburn Bodega sandwich. They all are both vsually appealing and spectacular in taste. We went with one of their popular sandwiches to try. The pastrami was PACKED in there! The crisp veggies and tart kraut perfectly balanced out the saltiness of pastrami. The green herb sauce, though, is this sandwich's wet dream. It added creaminess, a refreshing palette, and a bit of citrus flavor to amp up this sando tenfold! Warren & Co. Herb Crackers 5/5* Locally made! I checked the labels just to make sure they were local before purchasing. These were unexpectedly so crisp and savory. The lightness of the crackers tasted like you'd get them fresh out of the oven. They were perfectly dusted with flaky salt, rosemary and other aromatic herbs. I got these for charcuterie, but they were so good stand alone that I had them as a straight snack. They had a hefty display case of drinks out back and a small freezer with local goodies like a pot pie. We grabbed some kombucha to wash everything down. I noticed some desserts by the cashier also, and locally made bodycare items, but didn't want to browse any longer and keep them beyond their closing hours. This place is such a local gem. Side note - they prefer being small and local, and asked us not to post their menu on Yelp, since it rotates and people have come to get old sandos that weren't on the menu anymore. I respected their wishes but they were too good not to write about!
