The service seemed okay and the shop was super cute! The scones would have been better if it was warmed up. You can tell that everything was made from scratch. I think that if I were to return again, I'd have to go early in the morning so I can try their other baked goods fresh out of the oven.

I felt like I was in an adult version of Willy Wonka! Everything was organized and well stocked which was aesthetically pleasing! Not only do they have someone at the door offering free samples to lure in people, but they will also let you try any kind of chocolate. I was in heaven! We took home an assortment of chocolate pieces plus these marshmallow type chocolates that came in dark, milk, coconut and even strawberry flavor! It is a great place to grab a gift for someone - they had lots of gift box ideas! I will be keeping them in mind if I ever need anything. You can even get little individual packaged chocolates as well - kind of like how Ghirardelli does it, only better! Everyone working at Laderach was super nice and knowledgeable! One of the employees told me that the chocolate is flown in fresh from Switzerland every week and it really shows! Overall, Laderach might be my new favorite chocolate shop next to Ginger Elizabeth's! I will be visiting every time I am at the Roseville Galleria now - and you should be to! Not horrible, don't get me wrong, and the truffles are the only product I've had the chance to try. I'd try some of their other products, but will take a pass on the truffles.

Disappointing Experience at HomeSpun Yogurt…read more Yesterday, we stopped at HomeSpun Yogurt and got the coconut yogurt. As soon as we got in the car and started eating it, we noticed it tasted extremely sour and bitter--definitely not right. We went back inside to let the staff know. What concerned us most was that the employee told us other customers had complained about the same issue. He said he would check on it, and we overheard a conversation suggesting the machine had been cleaned the night before and that the bitterness might be due to a different brand of yogurt. We appreciate that they allowed us to switch to another flavor at no extra charge. However, knowing that multiple customers had reported the same problem, we were disappointed that it didn't appear to be taken more seriously or that the yogurt was removed from service while they investigated. Unfortunately, the following day, we both experienced stomach issues and diarrhea. We can't say for certain that the yogurt caused it, but the timing is concerning, especially given the complaints we'd heard about the same flavor. We hope management takes this seriously, investigates the issue, and ensures the yogurt and equipment are safe for customers. Customer safety should always come first.
