Wire baskets are available to use while you shop. There's a big gold gummy bear figure for a photo op. The staff we encountered were friendly & very willing to offer samples. We ended up making some truffle purchases at their glass display counter. The Tiramisu Truffle had a subtle mocha flavor. The Mint Truffle had a stronger flavor like an indulgent Andes. Both had a nice snap to the outer shell, but the coatings were thick. The ganache centers were creamy & smooth. Overall, a fun stop for your sweet tooth!

They had many chocolate items from their new Summer limited edition bars in flavors like Raspberry, Lemon and Blond Caramel, to chocolate Teddy Bears to chocolate popcorn to even slabs of chocolate behind the counter. I felt like I was in an adult version of Willy Wonka! Everything was organized and well stocked which was aesthetically pleasing! Not only do they have someone at the door offering free samples to lure in people, but they will also let you try any kind of chocolate. I was in heaven! We took home an assortment of chocolate pieces plus these marshmallow type chocolates that came in dark, milk, coconut and even strawberry flavor! It is a great place to grab a gift for someone - they had lots of gift box ideas! I will be keeping them in mind if I ever need anything. You can even get little individual packaged chocolates as well - kind of like how Ghirardelli does it, only better! Everyone working at Laderach was super nice and knowledgeable! One of the employees told me that the chocolate is flown in fresh from Switzerland every week and it really shows! Overall, Laderach might be my new favorite chocolate shop next to Ginger Elizabeth's! I will be visiting every time I am at the Roseville Galleria now - and you should be to! Check them out - you won't be disappointed!

I was initially drawn in by an employee offering Swiss chocolate samples and didn't realize I was walking into such a lovely chocolate shop. Läderach offers a wide variety of chocolates, from large breakable slabs in different flavors to bonbons and truffles, all displayed beautifully. Everything feels high-end and thoughtfully presented. BB loves anything matcha, so she tried the matcha chocolate and said it was delicious. I went with the mini mousse caramel milk chocolate, which was rich, smooth, and definitely worth it. The service really stood out -- the cashier was extremely helpful, offering samples, sharing recommendations, and making the experience feel welcoming. The shop itself is clean and visually appealing, and even the packaging feels elevated. They also offer options for those with nut allergies, which is a nice touch. Overall, a great place to stop for quality chocolate or a quick treat while shopping. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Even though there were only 15 reviews, they were all excellent so I decided to take a chance. Boy, I am so glad I did! Of course, the chocolates (I ordered the large box of Bon-bons and highly recommend them.) are top notch and the colors are beautiful. I think other reviews cover this so I will focus on everything else. The owner (woman owned, yes, please) could not have been more gracious when I contacted her mid afternoon for a gift I needed within a couple of hours. These are custom chocolates, frequently sold out, I was lucky they were available. In addition, I was having one of those days when I seemed to be incapable of doing anything efficiently, and was really stressed and anxious because I'm the newest daughter in law and wanted to nail this whole birthday gift thing. In short, by the time I spoke with her, I was heading towards hot-mess territory. This woman was so kind, understanding and (so very, very) patient that I actually felt calmer after we spoke. Beyond that, the presentation box was elegant (each chocolate nestled inside like a little jewel) and placed in a simple white gift bag with a tasteful satin bow tied jauntily around the handles. But the best part, for me, was a lovely note composed by the owner that was better than anything I could have written myself. Plus, she printed it with purple ink because I mentioned that was MIL's favorite color. I mean, does it get better? So, definitely, going back for future chocolate needs. Hopefully not the day of, next time.

Okay, you go in there to buy, but it's a nice gesture right? Am going to share two other examples of why I love See's. 1) One day I purchased something and inside the box was a small bag of Skittles. I loved that and it always stuck with me. Fast forward, I create hand painted pots. One day I thought, wouldn't it be nice to add a small treat along with the art? Absolutely! I started doing just that mostly with See's lollipops. 2) On Fridays we go for happy hour. Afterwards we walk the mall. I eat chocolate daily. I make my way to See's for more lollipops, selected chocolates, and of course! The free sample. Thank you See's. Spreading the love with your treats.

I purchased a wine glass at their pop up event on 2/8 because I love supporting small businesses. It cost $20 and included writing on it. I had to carefully remove every piece I could find. I messaged the owners right away and told them that they didn't have a label that it wasn't dishwasher safe and asked for a replacement and they said "for the future any glassware you purchase anywhere that has writing wouldn't be dishwasher safe" and said no. I said I wouldn't know that because I have glassware with writing on it that are dishwasher safe. They didn't respond and refused to help. I won't be back here.
