Walls and walls and walls of homemade chocolates. Three or four shelves of a variety of black licorice, my absolute favorite. And three ice cream freezers. One for Italian ices, one for gelatos and one for standard ice cream. Staff waa super friendly and helpful, guiding us through all of the choices. My hiking companion and I ordered a whole bunch of black licorice, one of our favorites. He then got two scoops of the chocolate ice cream, and I got two scoops of gelato: hazelnut and salted caramel. The ice creams and gelatos were delicious. And the assortment of black licorice was amazing. We brought home a quarter of a pound, and quickly gobbled it up when we got home. If you're in town and in need of replenishing some calories, I highly suggest you stop into this delightful shop with the greatest servers ever.

While we waited, we took a seat by the window to people watch. My drink was so cute, especially with the sprinkles. They added a lovely texture to a velvety chai. I appreciated that it wasn't too sweet even with the sprinkles and cherry white chocolate. As expected, the affogato was strong with the extra shot, but still smooth without being bitter. I need to remember to come back to Chocolatte more often. There's plenty of seating and the vibes are so cozy. Prices are okay, a little high but I'd rather be supporting a local business than Starbucks. They also have various pastries to choose from. We came back after the show and picked up 4. 2 delicious mint, a salted Carmel, and marshmallow. They are priced by piece not weight, like sees does. The total came to $7. He loved his mint ones and ate both for dessert after our steak dinner. I had the salted caramel one and it was Devine, so Carmel-y and it stuck to my teeth. I'm saving up the marshmallow one. This is a great dessert shop. They also sell all types of Carmel apples. I'd go with the plain Carmel one next time, the nuts took away from the Carmel. They have at least a half dozen of flavors, they sell candy, peanut brittle, chocolate dipped champagne glasses, cheesecake, ect. They even have a tiny seating area outside. This is a fun tasty place.
