It was pretty quiet here for a Saturday night. Service was okay, food was mediocre at best. Food showed well in the photos, but the taste and texture was just okay. Beef was dry on the nachos, and the ramekin of salsa they give you was teeny, tiny, you need 3 or 4. I'm sure we could have asked for more, but it took too long for the server to come back. A different girl took our drink order, different girls ran our food, and we had to ask for cutlery a few times. 4 of us went to this Brewhouse for dinner. We were hungry but it was late in the evening and didn't want to eat anything heavy. 3 of us ordered the tacos and one ordered sliders. The waitress was good. The tacos cam and every single one for the three of us were cold. Not even warm. Disgusting. I complained to the waitress that they were cold. She said she was sorry and did offer to get us new ones. We had waited so long we bit the bullet and said we would have these as we didn't want to wait at least 20 minutes for new ones. The sliders that were ordered tasted good but they were luke warm at best. This was a sports bar and all tv's were on to the blue jays game. Not very many people in the bar and with food like that I can see why. I will not return there again. At least the food at McDonald's is hot. read more

Went for dinner last night, we ordered pizza and wings, food came out cold, pizza wasn't fully cooked, waitress disappeared after dripping off food had to go to the bartender about food, they took it away, heated up the pizza so the cheese actually melted, they just out the wings in the fryer again and recoated them. We love the Chestermere location. Such great staff (General Manager Breanne is the BEST!), good drink selection and a comfy rooftop patio. We have limited options in Chestermere, so I'm very glad this place exists. read more

Was in town 5/27- 6/4 to visit our son and daughter in law who live just down the street. Our hotel was right next door to this great sports bar- which meant I was over there every night of our stay! Was able to watch the Stanley Cup and NBA finals and had a great time every night. Awesome staff - Cole or Colton remembered my name and treated me well. Food and drink were very good but expensive for this couple from Western NY. Will definitely return the next time we're there! read more

This place gets a lot of raves and I don't really get it. It seems to be more of a gimmicky menu with food that while ok, isn't completely satisfying. To Me, it's low end pub food. Meh. The atmosphere is kinda bland too. The lights are bright and the high tables are annoying. Gah, I hate when restaurants use them. They aren't comfortable. They are annoying. I'm not entirely impressed with the service either. Missed requests for drinks and sometimes waiting long periods before you are served. I know waitresses work hard but they have to step it up a notch. This by far is my last choice for eating out with the family. It definitely doesn't live up to its hype. read more

The staff is always friendly, and they serve very generously portioned nachos. I usually go once a week during patio season! I wish they'd stock up on nonalcoholic brews; every time I've gone in the past year they are out and they won't let me bring my own for some reason. Apart from that, love this place! read more

Nice new restaurant right next to our hotel! What's not to like? Well, the dismal beer selection for one. Lots of choices, none with flavor. Pretty much mega-brewery pablum. Coming from the U.S. I asked for a local IPA as I'm always interested in something new. "Er, we don't have any of THAT stuff", the waitress replied. (After all, the name says "Brewhouse"!) I settled for a Kieth's IPA which is a poor representation of the variety. Ok, how about some food! We had the Thursday Chinese food special. $5.99. My wife had the Ginger Beef which was utterly inedible. A few tough cold strips of what I assume was, at one time, "beef" atop some bland rice. She left it untouched. My Lemon Chicken, atop the same rice, was room temperature. When I asked the waitress if the chicken was supposed to be "not hot", she misunderstood and brought me some hot sauce. When I explained that the food was cold she DID send it to the kitchen and later returned with a hot order. Fine, but the heat didn't add flavor. This gave me a chance to use that hot sauce! Lastly, the pop music was endlessly blaring what seemed to be the same song. (Ok, I'm 64 and not familiar with today's hit parade, but why so loud?). At least it muted some of the f-bombs spewing from the group at the bar. This is really a nice looking bar, and obviously a lot of money has been spent to make it so. We had dinner in this location on January 14,2019! There were six adults and a four year old child! Two of us were seniors! The sign said seat yourself but a staff came and said we had to sit in a specific family section! We saw a table with low chairs) in a different area which would have been far more comfortable for the seniors and the child! We were told we could not sit there! The stools in the family area are very high and not too adaptable for booster seats! Also there is no place to rest your feet so consequently my hubby and I were not very comfortable! We were both awake with leg cramps through the night! I feel it would be better if there were lower tables available in the family dining area! The food and service was excellent but I would reconsider eating there because of this problem! I have been to The Canadian Brewhouse on many occasions and do enjoy it a lot!
