They have great specials every day throughout the week. For example on Sundays which is my favourite day to visit this place they have half-price pizzas and it is absolutely delicious pizza. They have flavours that you can choose from on a menu or you can create your own they are very accommodating and I really like it here. read more

I've been going there for 20 years, always had a good experience, but unfortunately the new staff is a fucking joke! 15 minutes at the bar, before anyone on night shift, discovered I was there, even though she watched me walk in! Asked for a beer, and a take out menu. 30 minutes later, still no service, apparently her cellphone, was more important than the customers that pay her wage! I asked for a supervisor, and got an ignorant bitch, that is clearly not qualified to be doing her job! I payed my tab, left 20 bucks for a 6 dollar bill! Drove to Atlas Pizza to order food. Fuck Mr schnapps, if your the owner, give your fucking head a shake. You lost my business for life! read more

Great service, always checking to make sure you're satisfied/taken care of. Got a lounge side and a dining side. Every time we come here, we leave happy. Food is great, and they have daily deals. We come on sundays for their half price pizza (dine in only). Plenty of TV's to watch the game too read more

Mr Schnapps Restaurant & Bar - Got #10 - all meat. Second pizza just added fresh tomatoes - Sports Bars Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Great dive bar (and I mean "dive" in the most complimentary manner; check the search criteria on my phone. No matter where we are, "best dive bar near me" is alway 1st search). Great food, spectacular servers (Hi, Susie!!), and Name That Tune Thursday nites!!! Is it Thursday yet? read more

Absolutely BEST food in Calgary!!!! And staff are Amazing too!!! Won't order or go anywhere else!!

If you are looking to get your money's worth and some excellent comfort food...this is the place. I happen to drive by and noticed the signage so talked my husband into trying it out for date night. The restaurant itself is unassuming with a menu reflecting many of my favourite comfort foods. Our meals came out quickly and our plates were full. Now, who speaks to side vegetables in a review? Well, I guess that would be me. The vegetables were so fresh and cooked perfectly. Our meals were delicious! My husband is a chef and for him to give rave reviews is as rare as steak tartar. We NEVER take leftovers home but it was a must as we were not going to waste any of our meal. The prices were fair and the meals so good we are already talking about going back. If you go here you aren't going to be surrounded by high end fixtures and 16 ft ceilings and the servers aren't 18 year old waitresses in skin hugging bodysuits...but you may just have a great meal at a decent price. I'm definitely looking forward to my next meal at Mr. Schnapps...hope visit #2 is just as positive as the first visit. read more

Came here on a Sunday in a blizzard. Nearly shit myself when the drinks came before we even settled in. Ordered 3 $5 steak sandwiches before winning on the VLTs. All the steaks came completely as ordered.. A miracle in itself. Waitress was cute and friendly. I would definitely recommend this bar for food. read more

We loved their serving staff, they were great despite the challenges or working there. Unfortunately it's not fair to review purely on service because the food was terrible. I've never seen eggs Benedict made of a fried egg and either fried or possibly baked on hollandaise sauce. Though it may have also been plastic or burnt cheese too, it's hard to tell. all I know is that it was inedible. :( read more

Went for lunch and had the pork loin special. 2 boneless chops with ample roast potatoes and garlic toast for $10. A very filling meal and a decent price. Service was quite good as the restaurant side later in the afternoon was not busy. I would have rated the place more but a lunch companion did not like their meal. read more

This is one of our families favourite places to go. It's not to expensive. You leave really full as the portions are great and their Caesar salad dressing is the best I have had in a long time. read more

Me and my boyfriend stumbled upon this beauty on valentine's day. I was sick so we had to order something that would deliver to us. This place has excellent food (best BBQ sauce ever!) and a great selection of food. I loved the pasta and I'll be ordering from here a lot :) read more

Steak was good. Pasta lacked flavor. Large portions were a plus. Service was lacking.

What a good home cooking/Italian restaurant! I have one thing to say: They have real veal! No processed deep-fried patties of steaming garbage. I order delivery twice a month for meat (all great), and regularly for great pizza. The best delivery in the neighbourhood. Enjoy read more

Me and my husband went there after a weekend to canmore. I ordered a Philly cheese steak special ( 11$) itS a daily special. And my husband ordered the 8$ daily steak sandwich with fries (7oz) there was also a 4,95$ 5oz steak sandwich special with fries . First my Philly cheese steak sandwich was huge... Filled with onions, peppers .., a full, uncut, 7oz steak cooked to my perfection. Well this sandwich was awesome! I replaced the regular fries for yam fries and they were awesome! The chipotle dipping sauce that comes with the fries is just simply AMAZING. My husband really loved his steak sandwich. The gravy was really tasty ( did not taste like flour) ...and the steak cooked rare was rare just like we asked... Big servings .., really good. Will be back for sure to try everything else on the menu. Oh and I had the French onion soup to start ( a lot of cheese and tasteless croutons) but not bad for 5 $ read more

We Have been looking for decent pizza since our regular place closed down. Having not eaten from this restaurant in 10 years we decided to give them a try. The pizza was garbage. We ordered a pepperoni mushroom pizza, ham and pineapple pizza and hot wings. Firstly I'm quite sure they are using a cheap prefab previously frozen crust which is never a good idea. The pepperoni was not pizza pepperoni so it was thick, uncaramelized, greasy and bland and as for mushrooms... we couldn't find any. The cheese was terrible. By far the cheapest, poor quality cheese I have ever seen on any pizza when it cools it has a similar colorization to lard. Secondly the wings... they were more like bones with franks red hot, we decided to see how little meat there really was and managed to pick off and weigh 2oz of meat from 14 wings... pretty laughable. Finally $5 for delivery?? Then your driver expects a tip too... here's a tip don't work for a company that charges so much for delivery. read more

the only reason why i gave a one star because of the service. the food was horrible.....that is understatement. the hollandaise sauce was more like butter. the asparagus was overcooked and the steak was so cheap it was mostly fat. the combination made it completely inedible. the pizza was extremely greasy and undercooked. we won't be going back.....ever. management was a joke. didnt even bother to come out and face us either then they had the nerve to only discount our bill by 15%......which was told to us by the server. it wasn't until we bitched that a meal we didn't eat that it was taken off. the server we had was absolutely fabulous....it was the only thing good thing about this place. it was cold, in need of modernization and only about half the bulbs over the tables were working. so in a nutshell......horrible food, mediocre atmosphere but great service. read more

Do not order from here unless you want to starve, we ordered delivery from here and it never came even after multiple phone calls to "confirm" that our food was on the way. After 80 minutes had past we called to find out what was going on only to be told the food had left and should be here soon, after 2 hours had past I called again and was told "oops the Pizza was still on top of the pizza oven but we delivered the Steak right" So they delivered the Steak to the wrong address and never even sent out my pizza, Mr Schnapps does not know how to run a restaurant and has no idea what is going on in the kitchen after 2 1/2 hours had passed they called to say we would get 15% off our next order but I will never use it or order from this pathetic excuse for a restaurant again. The only reason I gave it one star as it would not let me post without a star rating lol read more
