Nice place with a lot of options :) They have so many options for pizza and pasta that took me so many time to figure out what I want. My ordered was Matador and Greek pizza. They were good :) There are not some many options for wine but the wine that they have they were good... After I finished my meal and drinks I got a tiramisu but it was not so good.. I think it was missing something :( But it was good guys, maybe you will like.. and the staff are so helpful and friendly that makes you feel at home.. I hope you guys like this place...

Our family has now been coming here on a weekly (or bi-weekly) basis. This is clearly the best neighbourhood, family-friendly restaurant (with lounge) in northwest Calgary! The owner and staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. There are special deals every day of the week -- our favourite days are Mondays ($6 wings and $10 lasagna) and Saturdays (chef's choice grill night). Their grilled steaks(juicy and tender) and Greek-style pizzas(with plenty of toppings and cheese) hit the spot every time!

So I am from out of town and my local friend brought me here. To start, our server had a very sarcastic sense of humor, that to me didn't come across as funny, but rude. Second, I ordered wings, honey hot flavor. They came out the wrong flavor. They were returned after waiting 10 minutes for the server to return. They came back as honey hot. But they were the same wings with just hot sauce added, so now cold. Our server was switched mid service, for no reason as our old one sat across from us doing roll ups. My main course came out. A chicken spinach salad with egg and raspberry vinaigrette. I took a bite and it was very yummy. It was a very large portion. But then I pulled out a black curly hair. I told them I will pass and am very disappointed. My friends waited 45 minutes for their pizza during all this, and got dill instead of ranch with it. I was very excited to try this place out and now, I wish I could give it a zero. The picture of my water is because it's the only thing they didn't mess up.

This restaurant is getting 1star right as I seat in. The receptionist asked me "what do I want?" What am I a beggar. You don't ask that to a customer. Rude. You asked them how are you and and how many to be seated. That's what I think the right question is. I ordered the Italian wedding soup. Came in good, broth was tasty. The meat was tender, but the macaroni was over cooked (too soft to my liking) 3 stars. For the entree I ordered the 8oz AAA striploin, medium, with baked potato on sour cream. The plate also has mixed veggies and a pickle. The steak was medium as ordered. Was not really at par compared to the steak of other 'better' restaurants. It was juicy, yes. But the taste lack the sweetness of being a nicely prepared steak. It did not wow me. 2 stars. Of course you have to have a high expectation on this meal considering it's the most expensive item on the menu. The waitress (with piercing on her nose) was nice, does her job well. The deal breaker was the receptionist (the fat lady). I would not recommend the place. Sorry.

pizza was good. it's not thin crust and it's not deep dish.... it's how pizza was before thin crust haha....if i were to compare, i might say the crust is like pizza hut crust in the 90's when people ate at pizza hut restaurants. I liked it. veal parmasean was meh... hence the 3 *. atmosphere is old school 90's family owned restaurant. The night we can it was super busy! lucky we went early and got the last table in the lounge. I saw other people getting spaghetti and steak.

Entire pizza was layered with large chunks of raw garlic

No idea, they would not let me and my family in. Y'all are losing regular customers who will never come back.

The "baked" potato was microwaved vs actually baked And it was so cool that the butter I put on it didn't melt. Ordered a side of garlic prawns and got 3 small unflavored shrimp instead that were maybe an inch long if you stretched it out. my sons fries were undercooked (some weren't even golden, they were still potato white) And said some of them were kinda crunchy/stiff. I had the owners cut of prime rib and it was smaller than the last two times I had been to smugglers where I ordered a smaller cut (first mate) And it was cold, even the au jus was barely warm. Also probably the smallest Yorkshire pudding I've ever had there. Maybe 1/3 the size you use to get. We ordered desert and it took newly 30 mins for it to be brought out - my son's "warm" apple krisp was cold he said. i have been smugglers at least A dozen times in the last 3 years and more so in the last decade and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. In both service and quality. As it stands I would not recommend - where as before I always raved about the smugglers inn. For a $400+ bill for myself and my 3 kids, I def expected way better quality, actual warm food and not have to wait a combined time of over an hour for service. It was also my son's birthday, and he found the experience very disappointing and said he never wants to go back. When we booked we said it was a birthday, we mentioned it was his birthday and the server didnt even say happy birthday to him. Oh and it wasn't even that busy when we got there... there was maybe 10 costumers when we arrived. I might try it again due to past visits being great. But another experience like tonight and I'll probably take my prime rib expeditions else where. I doubt my kids will ever go back as the complained how horrible it was the entire drive home. I usually don't give a lot of reviews but it was such a sub-par experience I had to report it.

Parking was pretty full but we managed to snag a spot. The place was busy but not too loud. While the server did ask us if we were celebrating anything, there wasn't really anything done that made out time there special. We started with the Marrow and Escargot and shared a 12oz Prime Rib with lobster tail and Creme Brulee for dessert. The food was okay, not sure if it was worth the price of admission. Server was fine, but not memorable. We were disappointed in the experience as this used to be our go to (bi-monthly) dinner place before the ownership change.

The duck & waffles was a confit duck leg, vanilla liege waffles, foie gras gravy with a bistro salad that had a yuzu vanilla vinaigrette. Duck was delicious. I liked the salad, but honestly felt that the vanilla in the vinaigrette would be best removed. However, that's my personal opinion. The waffles were... ok. It was like eating cake and bits of sugar. I mentioned to the server that the waffles had chunks of sugar in them, but she said that they were sugar coated. To be honest, I'm not convinced. there was chunks of white sugar, not a glaze...In the waffle itself. And the batter was very heavy, thick and cake like. Not the best waffles. French toast was great, very filling and delicious. It has a foie gras caramel, maple pecans, maple caramelized apples, whipped cream cheese and back bacon. This can easily be your new favourite. My mimosa was amazing, best mimosa I've honestly ever had. Americano wasn't really anything special, especially for $6. While it was a decent breakfast, I don't think I would order waffles again from here unless they change their recipe. I was also a little disappointed they didn't have more than 2 flavours of latte. I don't think I would return with the competition that's out there, but it wasn't bad.
