All of the sales associates that helped me throughout the whole experience were patient, kind and explained everything to me and great detail, which was helpful because I am a new rider. The customer service, knowledge and patience I received from Emily, Dan and Will was unparalleled. I purchased a Surly Karate Monkey hardtail, which was my first mountain bike. I had done considerable research, but many questions remained. Sizing was my first concern. Emily brought out her own Karate Monkey, which confirmed the correct size for me; and because I had decided to upgrade the tires, Dan and Will spent considerable time helping me choose which tires would be best for both front and rear. Once the bike arrived, Dan assured a proper fit. He also made certain my compression front fork was adjusted properly and that I understood how to experiment with various settings to maximize its benefit. Anyway, this was next door when we ate at Panera, and Sweetie wanted to take Baby K's picture with the Brutus statue out front. K was having none of it. I guess he was a little scary. But we went in and had a blast looking around. Lots of shirts and hats, plenty on sale (which brings them down to reasonable prices.) And anything else you want with OSU logos on it. Seriously, anything. Popcorn? Yep. Lint roller? Why not? Lego training cart? Of course. Tons of stuff, well-organized, pretty good quality. Some gets pretty expensive. But when you need OSU dog clothes, where else are you gonna go? Well, maybe Conrad's, so check them out too. But we had fun here, service was friendly, and we'll be back for all our Ohio State needs.

When I was in the outdoor industry and needed new gear, STP was one of the first websites I'd check for gear. Even when my wife was an employee at a competing outdoor retailer (where I got a discount) I was still shopping online at STP. When I found out they were building a brick and mortar store here in Columbus I was beyond thrilled! As it is part of the TJX companies it still means that the store is a gamble when it comes to brands and sizes found. However, it makes a great starting point as you can easily search their site to see if there are other sizes, colors, etc available. Don't have a tiny pocket computer (aka a smart phone)? There's no need to fret! In store they even have a kiosk where you can search their online stock. My only real dislike of the physical store is that as of right now they do not accept the countless coupons that come to my email address. This may change soon as an employee recently told me that they would start honoring them. Until then, I will still order the bulk of my purchases from the website so I can use the frequent STP coupons. With the store so close it's super easy to return to the store with no hassle. This is extremely helpful when ordering shoes online as some outdoor brands use variations of European sizing that allow for greater fit specification. Recently I ordered two pairs of a boot to see if they would work for my job. Having a low volume super narrow foot they did not but, with the painless returns it was no problem.
